I am so thankful I booked my stay at the Quinua Villa Boutique while visiting Cusco. The room was spacious and absolutely beautiful. At night, the views of the city lit up was truly breathtaking. Heck, even during the day the views were amazing. I do not have one complaint regarding this hotel.||||Each and every morning, you are served a homemade breakfast prepared by their staff that is delivered and set up in your room. The day prior you need to fill out a form stating what you would like, how much you would like, and at what time. Promptly at that designated hour, someone was knocking at your door. The staff will then set up your dining room table with everything you requested that they freshly prepared especially for you. Just make sure when you fill out that form you state the correct quantity of the things you would like served. One egg equals one egg. One cup of coffee equals one cup of coffee. If there are 2, 3, or 4 of you staying in the room, make sure the quantity matches the number of guests and how much each would like.||||The entire unit was extremely spacious. It had everything from a full working kitchen, a dining room, a living room with fireplace, huge bathroom, and a large bedroom with a walk-in closet. All throughout the unit were ancient Inca artifacts enclosed in glass cases. It was as if your room was a museum as well.||||The hotel is not accessible for vehicles. I strongly suggest you take advantage of the taxi service the hotel provides because the driver will meet you at the airport, drive you to the closest spot vehicles can drive near the hotel, and he'll even help bring your luggage to the hotel (from that point you will need to go up a flight of stairs and down an alley to reach the hotel. It'll take approximately 5 minutes or so to do this). The airport pick-up service was S./29 (approximately USD$9). The return trip was free. Well worth the money!||||As far as the location, I felt it was at an ideal location. It was at the outskirts of town in a quiet residential area. Probably a 15 minute walk to the historical Plaza Mayor where there were ample restaurants and shops. The stairs right next to the hotel will lead you directly up to Cristo Blanco and Sacsayhuaman, but be prepared for a hike as it will probably take you a good 45 minutes to an hour getting to the top of the mountain. There are two small grocery stores at the spot the taxi driver stops prior to getting to the hotel. There are also a few mom & pop restaurants in the area that aren't as pricy as the restaurants in town and the food was just as good.||||Lastly, the staff that work at this hotel are super friendly and extremely helpful. Prior to the trip, each and every email I sent asking questions or making arrangements were answered and in a prompt fashion (and that is priceless when I found that many businesses simply do not reply at all in Peru).||||If I was ever to go back to Cusco, I would definitely stay at Quinua Villa Boutique all over again. It truly was an amazing experience staying there.
