Very cute and chic design (we loved the aesthetic) with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great vibes, even better food. We went twice in two days! The cocktail variety is incredible - we had the ginga de ipanema and it was like nothing we’ve ever tried. My friend raved about the rigatoni da terra, and I am still dreaming about the nhoque de banana da terra! They also provided the breakfast for Ipanema Inn, and it was probably the best coffee I’ve had in South America, and the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in years (or ever). Highly recommend! Get the nhoque!

Was looking for something more “elaborated” to eat in Rio and this did not disappoint. The ambience felt great and the food was well curated and flavorful. Would come back again and recommend it to anyone nearby.

Delicious local food! Fettuccini ai frutti di mare was spectacular! Fresh and delicious. Also a perfect place to begin the day with delicious local breakfast options!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and beautifully served. The atmosphere was so warm. Super friendly staff, attentive, and professional, and they spoke English perfectly, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Rio. It’s definitely my favorite spot for both lunch and dinner!

Because of my job, thankfully I’m going all around the world, eating nice food and drink everywhere! Been to rio 14 times and this was my first time I found this hidden gem :) Plus I was too lucky to be there on Saturday with music right on time! I really liked the vibe, music, food literally everything. Was about to stay for just a lunch but quite a long time enjoying the music and food. Strongly recommend, I feel like I had fine dining in the high class restaurant. Next time I will visit breakfast or brunch for sure :) See you!

Food is good with big portions and cocktail were excellent. Henrique provided amazing service; we were lucky to have him two nights in row; he also spoke exceptionaööy good English high is nice given our lack of portuguese. Nice Ambiance!

This place is a gem the food is superb and healthy.moreover the place looks super classy not overcrowded serenading on top of that the service is great my only regret is I could have been there a lot more during my stay in Rio.

Excellent value for money. We took the tasting menu with the wine paring. The menu is very influenced by Latin America, with plenty of fish and local fruits. All plates very generous and creative in presentation and flavour. Wines are mostly from Argentina, all top class. Also they serve full glasses each round. I highly recommend it for a nice gourmet experience in Ipanema that is not too expensive.

Over priced and trying to be way more upscale than it could ever live up to. Pretty good but taste is mediocre at best. Also, they banned straws for some ungodly known reason ‍. Ordered a mojito and it literally didn't have any sugar, probably cause they are trying to be organic or something ‍‍. It was horrible so I sent it back and ordered a beer, something they couldn't mess up. The prawn appetizer came out and it's horrible as well, miniature prawns still in their shell, it's almost impossible to peel them, it's only a mess made worst by the dry fried batter they come with. I ordered the octopus as the main entree and it was very good! For dessert I have the coconut flan, it was okay nothing amazing.

There are few times in life that a meal is so geniously crafted and tasty that you just want to have it again and again. That is what happens at Quitéria located in the heart of Ipanema beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is a must go restaurante. Excellent food, great and friendly service and reasonable priced. I highly recommend. I cannot wait to go there again and try the new additions to the menu.

We went in based on reviews here and we expected a nice fine dinning place, well, we did find it, food was amazing!!!! Great atmosphere and Daniela took EXCELLENT care of us not once but twice, make sure to ask for her if you stop by and expect nothing but the best...
