In a few words, a perfect restaurant. Beautiful, calm ambience; gorgeous décor; delightful staff who know their stuff and who seem to be working in a positive, conducive environment.
We had the cheese platter (excellent goat cheese served with artisanal bread and a homemade jam), moqueca (perfectly cooked, made with fresh, tender yet firm namorado fish and prawns; served with creamy cocunut and garlic rice, and farofa) and the pudim de leite (basically, a flan, perfectly made, with the added fragrance of puxurí, a cardamom-like Amazonian spice).
I cannot but wholeheartedly recommend this outstanding establishment. A good representative of "cozinha de afeito" — haute cuisine that brings back the food of the Brazilian homes, the taste of a loving Brazilian mum's cooking.
