Quivertree Forest Rest Camp

Nice area, but pricey for what it is. I wouldn't recommend making the journey out here just to see this. You'll see similar habitats elsewhere, for free. They only accept cash. Luckily we had some. But if you have made your journey out here and are cashless, or don't wish to pay a fee, you can see the exact same habitat if you continue on up the road past the Giant's Playground. You'll see both habitats here, the GP and the QT.

We had a great stay at the quivertree forest rest camp lately. We enjoyed everything! The Quivertree Forest is 3 minutes far away, so you can go there very easily. It was a beautiful and lovely adventure for us! See you next time 🙃

Situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Namibia. Stunning views. Ablutions and washing up area were very neat and clean. Still don't know why you have to pay R550 extra to take sunrise and sunset photos in the forest!?

Owner very rude and not approachable. Not worth $N300 per person for camping. Ablutions not very clean and definitely not paying $N500 per person for night photography, outrages. Lots of other much more friendly hosts and places for night photography. Will definitely not visit there again or recommend to anyone, was a waste and couldn't leave fast enough after 1 night. Heard the owner apparently are tired of tourists, get someone else to work at reception then. Tourists are putting bread on your table, could really be friendlier and more inviting. Don't even deserve the 1 star.

The weather might have played a role in our overall appreciation of the place (it was overcast and grey the day we checked in) but my daughter summarized it best when she said that the place reminded her of the typical haunted fairground or amusement park that you can find in Scooby-doo cartoon episodes. The place had a somewhat sinister vibe to it.

Great place to stop and recharge after those long dusty Namibian roads. The campsites are basic but have everything that you need - the ablution blocks and shared wash up places were absolutely spotless when we visited. It is a campsite but as the owners say, they are also a working farm.

Communal room with 3 other rooms- sharing a lounge - you need to pay to visit the quiver tree even if you booked in - toilet paper shoved into the aircon to keep the flap open - for the price you pay not worth the quality of the rooms….curtains are faded

What a lovely place to stay. The quiver tree forest is awesome. The rooms is a must and the food is excellent!
