I have been staying at QuodLibet whenever I am in Rome. The hotel's location is excellent. It is close to Vatican City and the Metro station, which you can easily access to any attraction in Rome. The rooms are clean and big enough. Breakfast on the roof is exceptional. Mr. Gianluca and the team are always professional and nice. Thanks for their incredible hospitality. I highly recommend Quodlibet to everyone.

Just returned from our second visit to Quodlibet, first time 5 years ago. Everything about this little place is just perfect for us. Location is 10 minutes walk from Vatican, metro is end of the street 2 minutes away. Gianluca’s hospitality is legendary and consistent, delicious breakfast served each morning on the cozy terrace was fabulous and sets you up for the day ahead. Gianluca kindly arranged last minute transport from Ciampino Airport after advising us there was a local transport strike! Provided map with suggested walks and excellent dining recommendations which we took advantage of, we thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed each one. Don’t hesitate to stay at Quodlibet or Casa Martini…Grazie mille Gianluca and staff. Buon Natale, Jackie & Jim ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I won’t reiterate all the wonderful comments made by previous guests as they are all true. Highly recommend this gem. Our highlights were the comfortable room, convenience to attractions, outstanding breakfast and service. Will stay here again when next in Rome. Recommend to arrange your airport transfers as very convenient.

Quodlibet was the finest accommodation during our visit to Rome and Italy in general last October (2024). Gianluca was the consummate host and his staff was exceedingly friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend Quodlibet when visiting Rome.

What a fantastic property! Gianluca was an amazing host. Super helpful, really friendly. I was able to check in around 12.30 which was so helpful as I didn't have to cart my bags round in the heat. The room was lovely. Bright and spacious. Good air con. Bed was comfy.||Breakfast can be served in your room, but there is a lovely roof terrace where breakfast is usually served and we ate up there every morning (no lift to the roof terrace, but there is a lift up to the actual b&b). The roof terrace is open for use all the time, so we used it a couple of nights to have a drink and play a game!||The kitchen is also available 24/7 for tea (there was an espresso machine in the room). And a jar of biscuits!||All the recommendations Gianluca made were spot on and we ate at some lovely restaurants based on his advice.||We loved the location. 2 minute walk from the metro station and in a nice quiet area. Very close to the Vatican.||If we go back to Rome, we'd definitely want to stay here again.||Be aware there's no sign for the property which confused me! But as Gianluca was expecting me, he and the building manager retrieved me anyway :) so not really a negative, but definitely a bit confusing.

The 4 of us stayed here for 3 nights all in 1 room. The beds were configured into 2 big beds. The room had plenty of space and bathroom was of good size. The AC worked great and TV had plenty of channels, although didn't come here to watch TV. Location was good - only 2-3 minutes from the Metro stop and 10-15 minute from Vatican. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was served in the lovely covered roof terrace. There was plenty to choose from with fresh croissants, bread, meats & cheeses, fruit, yogurts, juices, coffee and eggs made to order. But the highlight of the stay was Gianluca, who speaks excellent English. He went above and beyond and the main reason our stay in Rome went so well. He gave us a map outlining all the places to see and how to go about doing it, how to use the Metro with restaurant and gelato recommendations. He arranged our car service to/from the hotel and even showed us how to use the taxi app (similar to Uber), which came in handy. Overall, this B&B was outstanding. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

As a family of five, finding suitable accommodation can be challenging, but Quodlibet exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a spacious double room with five beds, creating a cozy apartment-like atmosphere that felt nothing like a big chain hotel. This made us feel like locals rather than tourists—simply great! The location is spectacular, within walking distance of the Vatican and conveniently close to subway stations, no more than 150 meters away. From here, everything in Rome is within easy reach. I must emphasize our host, Gianluca, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He provided invaluable advice, support, and accommodated our needs with exceptional personal and friendly service. Every morning, we enjoyed breakfast on a beautiful rooftop terrace, which was the cherry on top of our experience. Our five-day stay at Quodlibet made our Rome vacation unforgettable. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a welcoming, authentic stay in Rome!

This is a lovely b&b with very friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Our room was large and spacious for two adults and two children, with beds in separate spaces within the room, giving them privacy when required. The breakfast in the roof restaurant is a novel and refreshing way to start your day, and the selection of fresh food on offer will fuel you for hours. The location is minutes walk from the Vatican and seconds from the underground that gets you to the far end of the city quickly and easily. With a family I’d recommend the private taxi they offer to the airport for €65 as it takes the hassle out of carrying luggage around on public transport. A really lovely 4 night stay and highly recommended!

Yelp
We were thrilled to find this place highly recommended on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed at all! Gianluca met us and gave detailed instructions on places to go and recommendations for restaurants, he even arranged our transportation to and from the airport. Booking this B&B is like having a private concierge along with it. We just can't thank Gianluca enough for all he has done for us. It is clear from our experience that he has been doing this for 24 years. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking Rome is always phenomenal! The location of this B&B is perfect, only a few blocks from the Vatican and a short walk across the Tiber river to the other major archaeological sites. Even better, there is a 24 hour bakery in the ground floor right underneath this place!! We just can't recommend this guest house enough!

Yelp
This was such a nice B&B right around the corner of both the Vatican and a Metro stop! The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was tidy, there were plenty of linens, and all appliances worked well. We were provided a great foldable map along with several suggestions and highlighted walks. This was a nice touch to our intro. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace, complete with juice coffee/tea, bread with spreads, croissants, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, a meat plate, and a cheese plate; you won't leave hungry! There is also an elevator so you don't have to lug your luggage (or yourself) up the stairs.

Yelp
Amazing!!!! Staff is the best, rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Gianluca will give you all the tips and tricks to the city if he recommends a restaurant you should go there! He also gives you a map and shows you recommend routes to optimize your time. Breakfast is amazing on top of the roof. In the basement of the building is a delicious bakery thjat fills the stair case with the most amazing smells. Here you are very close to the Vatican walking distance to everything else. If you don't feel like waking metro is close by and very cheap and easy to use. We will not stay anywhere else in Rome and cant wait to come back.

Yelp
Great location, great hosts, great place to stay. 10 min. walk north of the Vatican, close to subway and food. Very quiet inside, strong and reliable wifi.

Yelp
Quodlibet is an excellent bed and breakfast, 7 minutes walk north from the Vatican city, and an easy 4 minute walk from the Ottaviano metro station. It is also located less than 10 minute walk from several excellent local restaurants and gelato shops. Our hosts, Gianluca and Connie, were so welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Upon arrival and check in, we sat down and Gianluca took time with us to learn what our plans were and what kind of things were important to us during our 3 nights in Rome. He then drew out several great walking paths through the city, taking into account to avoid extremely busy areas when possible, but still allowing us to see the big sights and get some great food and gelato. His recommendations were perfect. Gianluca also assisted us in getting a taxi on the day of our departure (which was extremely helpful since the metro was on strike that day! ). The room was super clean , spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated. Breakfast was on the charming rooftop terrace, and was fairly large. It also included pastries from the bakery located directly under the B&B. We will never forget the sweet smell of cakes and breads baking , the entirety of our stay. It was truly delightful. The staff was also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Rona served us breakfast and she was wonderful. If we ever are able to return to Rome, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Grazie Gianluca and Connie! -V and N

Yelp
I stayed there with my daughter 4 days. The place is really clean and comfortable . Basically It had all we needed. The service exceeded my expectations. breakfast is really good, fresh and abundant . Agostino and Gian Luca make sure you have all you need.Their advise in where to go, how to get there , when, how much, etc were very helpful and the restaurants they recommended excellent. I would definitely come back when I visit Rome next time.

Yelp
My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon in Italy, which included four nights in Rome; we could not have asked for a better B&B experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with free Wifi, small refrigerator, and a very nice bathroom, and the service was marvelous. Agostino and his entire staff are consummate professionals who genuinely care about their guests--they did everything they could to make our stay not just at Quod Libet but Rome itself an absolute delight. Beyond the excellent service, the breakfasts were terrific, with delicious fruit, baked goods (there's a 24-hour bakery on the first floor), and coffee. I especially became addicted to the baked goods. On top of all that, Quod Libet is only a ten-minute walk to St. Peter's and the Vatican Museums. You simply cannot go wrong with Quod Libet. Again, they've got it all!

Yelp
A truly outstanding B&B. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and we could not have made a better choice. Our host, Augustino, was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful with advice for making the most of our visit to Rome. The B&B is well-located, close to the metro and just a stroll from the Vatican. The room was very comfortable. An excellent, bountiful breakfast gets you off to a great start each morning.

Yelp
What a nicely run business. Friendly knowledgable staff fantastic breakfasts. A great start to any day in fabulous Rome. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous. We all felt very safe here. And minutes walk from the Vatican. The metro and the wonderful Rome market.
