Nice view from the dining room. We loved the lightly battered cod. The service was slow.

Great food at great prices! Our family loved the BBQ chicken burger, the loaded wedges (amazing and a must-try), chicken fingers and garlic fingers (which were our favourite ever!!!!).
The food came quickly too. Great spot right by the water. Plenty of food - consider sharing or you can take home.
We would definitely go back!

Ordered the veggie pizza. The pizza crust was store bought and too thick, the ingredients (the little that was on there) slide off the crust, difficult to eat, very little sauce and the mushrooms were canned, not fresh. Not sure about the rest of the menu but I wouldn't trust it.

After a full day of travel from Ontario, it was wonderful to find a local place open for dinner given the winter season. Friendly service, nice views, and good food. Only had a salad so not sure what the quality of their warm food is but what others were eating looked good. RJ’s will stay on my list of local Twillingate eateries and will recommend to others.

Had cod tacos and a turkey dinner. The cod was awesome...thick piece of fresh, favorful cod. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the coleslaw is made fresh daily here. I loved the coleslaw. My turkey dinner was served piping hot with big slabs of turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, and I was surprised by the mildly sweet taste of the turnips. We would love to return to try other entrees.

It was really busy so we had to wait a bit for a table - not too long. Tourist season is longer than expected in Twillingate this year so this was the only restaurant open at lunch time the first day we were there. Service was fantastic! The cod & chips as well as the burger were delicious and we really enjoyed both!

Amazing view, great food. For vegetarians, their lentil patty burger was pretty good. Nice staff. Relatively fair prices. I would vote it's more a lunch place than a dinner place.

I thought this was the best fish and chips of all the places we tried in NL over 2 weeks.
Chips to die for.
Nothing fancy, but that's what I love about this region, they keep it simple and good.

Yelp
We took a winter day drive up to Twilingate and this was the only place open! It had mixed reviews but we ate here regardless. We were quite the fans at the end of it.
Packed for lunch (probably because it's the only place to go in the winter), our server was still incredibly attentive and friendly. Most of us ate the special of the day - pork chops with potatoes and coleslaw and it was delicious and large. Very tasty.
Glad we came here - hesitant at first but we really enjoyed our meal. Great service, food and a nice setting to sit by the window and look at the water too.

Yelp
Honestly disappointed.
Went here because it seemed popular and nice and busy. Assuming that meant it was good.
Bought 60 dollars of food for half of it to end up in the garbage.
Never coming again.
The squid rings were extremely salty and way too greasy. I know deep fried squid rings ought to be greasy but this was extreme. Ended up with a family member getting sick and throwing up from the heart burn afterwards.
The batter hardly stayed on them.
Not to mention them dumping the hot rings straight into the Styrofoam tray which melted onto a couple of the rings. Absolutely dangerous.
The poutine had watery gravy with very little flavour, they used store bought fries which some were a bit hard in the middle, maybe udercooked? Not sure what caused them to be like that. They also had no flavour.
At least they tried to make up for it with about half a blocks worth of cheese on it.
The only decent item was the loaded wedges, which weren't initially given to us. We got takeout and had to turn around and go back for the rest of the meal which they forgot to hand to us. And then treated as if it were somehow our fault by the moody staff.

Yelp
Excellent fish and chips and fish tacos. Service was excellent. Chips are called wedgies and are tasty. Nice view over the water. The rating on line is not justified. Way better than a three. Rating it a 5 after our experience.

Yelp
Lovely service and good local fish & chips. Nice harbor view watching the locals on the pier.

Yelp
Stopped by on a rainy, windy fall day. The fish and chips were great. Service good and fast. Nice clean place overlooking the water. When in town you should try this place. I recommend it to any travellers looking for a good fish dinner

Yelp
Given I'm in Twillingate in early May, the harbour is iced over and a blizzard is all the rage outside, this place is fabulous. Friendly relaxed service, straight forward menu with no frills but good homely food and wine, outrageously inexpensive with great views of the harbour. You know a place is good if it's full of locals. If in Twillingate stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner - you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Relaxed service, clean and neat. Food was terrible. Soggy fries, over cooked fish and watery ketchup.
