Where to Try New England's Most Famous Bread Traditions
"A local maker that still produces a version of New England canned brown bread, welcoming the public to its factory outlet in Amesbury and acting as a co-packer for businesses such as Calef’s Country Store; its continued local production contrasts with larger brands that moved manufacturing away from New England." - Adam H. Callaghan
So many choices, and they are all delicious. I loved the carrot cake and apricot jam, but you cannot go wrong with any choice. Friendly service and excellent prices. I’ll be back soon!

Excellent products and service. The outlet store is very informal, just a few wire racks, but the staff (the owner, when we were there) will happily answer questions and there are real bargains to be had. The entry to the store is off the parking lot by the mailbox. It's not well marked. The short drive to the store from I-95 along the Merrimac is very pretty.
