We had a lovely weekend at the low-key R Inn in Napa town! The whole place was thoughtfully designed, and we appreciated the snacks and free parking. We went to a show at the Uptown Theater (just a few blocks away) and had dinner both nights at walkable restaurants. In between, we visited our favorite winery, strolled around town and relaxed at the hotel (we were in Room 5, which was great, though didn't have an in-room fridge, if that's something you're looking for). Both the outside and inside hotel spaces were welcoming, and the continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning was legit--local pastries, yogurt, fruit and one of those espresso machines that can make practically any drink. Highly recommended for a Napa Valley stay, especially if you plan to spend any time in Napa town.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. This is a gem that is centrally located to everything in downtown Napa. The overall decor is fabulous making you feel like you're somewhere special in Europe. I really enjoyed the well-kept amenities as well. The bedding and bathroom towels were of top quality!

My husband and I visited this gorgeous property for our 10th Anniversary. We stayed in Loft 14, the room was amazing high ceilings, open floor plan, spacious, toilet amenities, huge shower, and EXQUISITE BED/BEDDING. The rooms and location are top tier! Housekeeping was also amazing, the room was emaculant everyday. We stayed Mon-Thurs celebrating our Anniversary, with this being a true boutique establishment you would thi nk our celebration would have been at least acknowledged. The property was definitely not busy during the week, and the cozy, warm feel of the establishment did not coincide with the interactions of the property staff. Noone was rude, and they did answer questions appropriately to our needs. The expectation did not coincide with the property. Check-in was very detailed and explained through a text message, very simple and easy process. Check-out, I hope went well ...we did not hear from anyone. The hotel is in walking distance from great food, entertainment and wine tasting rooms. The common area kitchen is really cute and stocked with some snacks, but weekday guests do not get the continental amenities as that of the weekend guests. I took alot of time and effort to research where we wanted to spend our time and I am glad I choose the R Inn, I just hope this gives them a little insight that weekday and special occasions guests are important as well, a little acknowledgement goes a long way.

We had an awesome stay at The R Inn in Napa. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the sleek, modern design and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The room had a hidden pop-up TV (which we thought was so cool), remote-controlled shades, and a comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning (or maybe that was the 3 wine tastings).||The bathroom was especially unique – spacious, open, and designed with a walk-in shower that didn’t need a curtain or door. It felt like a boutique spa setup and added to the overall high-end vibe.||Everything felt fresh and well-maintained for the most part, and the vibe of the entire property was relaxed yet upscale. ||We’d absolutely recommend The R Inn and would love to come back for another stay!

My wife and I stayed three nights in this outstanding boutique hotel. Easy seamless check in and check out. The room was clean and the heated automatic bidet toilet was incredible! Very, very comfortable bedding, everything was perfect. And the location could not be better, we walked everywhere except the day we did the winery tour of the valley. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a very streamlined, self-sufficient and luxurious stay! The check-in process was so easy. I loved the loft I stayed in, especially the bathtub, with an honorable mention to the heated toilet seat! The bed was also impressive, with luxurious sheets & pillows, as well as multiple settings to find maximum comfort. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the design and how cocooned I felt. The communal kitchen area was also very unique and easy to navigate. This would be my first consideration for a hotel stay when I come to Napa again.

This place has it all. From ease of checkin, friendly owner and staff, comfortable beds and linens, modern bathroom, beautiful common kitchen area with barista style coffee maker and drinks and snacks available 24/7. Their loft style suites are spacious and inviting. Any location in the building is fabulous and the outside game area is fun and inviting. A 5 star recommendation!

Google
What a beautiful experience! I was in town for a work conference, and had the pleasure of staying at R INN NAPA. Every detail was wonderful. The room was clean, technologically updated, had heated toilet and bidet, and felt like a personal spa at a retreat. Having the cool, modern decor all around was visually pleasing, and all the included conveniences like food and coffee made my stay even better. Minutes from everything, and a super walkable area! Thank you so much!

Yelp
We stayed here for specific reasons to check out Napa's Lighted Art Festival. This hotel was so close to that iconic first Presbyterian church that it was actually very convenient to end up here as opposed to another competitive hotel. I'm married to a Gemini so you can imagine when it comes to making that ultimate decision. Not. Easy. Seriously! We have stayed at our share of beautiful hotels yet this one may have been overrated for us as the cottage itself being a two bedroom cottage seemed not as nice as the other rooms which my wife opted out of the two storied loft bc of the stairs with opened steps. We didn't have the heated toilet & at one point I thought I observed a little puddle of water on the floor left of the stove? One of the bedroom windows was broken & cracked so it kind of freaked my wife after she read a few of Yelp's reviews & she ran across one that said it was previously a mortuary. Oh my that's probably why she couldn't sleep much the night we were there! Like. With. Her. Eyes. Wide. Open. Ugh... My wife booked via Booking.com & did receive a decent yet still pricy rate. We were thankful to get an opportunity to check in early. Thank you Sean for the complimentary bottle of wine. Also we appreciated the complimentary snacks & drinks in their lobby & kitchen commonplace area. I couldn't remember the code for the life of me & had to walk back to the cottage to ask my wife what it was. Also how to operate it as well. My wife had to show me! I guess she got the gist of it better than I did. This place reminded us of another hotel we stayed at but now it's practically unreachable especially once the word got out. I'm sure the same will be here too. Yesterday's weather forecast didn't say anything about rain. So when we returned back to our hotel yesterday we did just in the nick of time bc guess what my wife heard rain & she checked her weather app twice on her iPhone & lo behold it was raining! We were absolutely lucky bc my wife did not plan for rain. No raincoat! REALLY! There were 5 steps going up into the cottage so my wife said next time we will stay in one of the other rooms with the loft. We did arrive here the time of the year there would be ripe lemons on the tree! My wife was thrilled!!! She loves drinking fresh squeezed lemon juice in her hot water & tea. Now it's time to help her get some Lemon juice! Woohoo! Thank you so much Sean!

Yelp
We definitely stumbled upon a great gem!! Was going to Napa for a day conference and decided to go the night before. Came across R Inn Napa and decided to try them. In heart of downtown Napa, it gives the vibes of a small modern cozy European Inn. The place is spotless, tastefully decorated with the most amazing grounds. Room: The room was furnished with gorgeous modern and comfortable furniture. The bed had the control to move the mattress head/foot up and down. The bathroom included the warm toilet seat as well as the bidet. The show had the waterfall show head which was lovely. All the shower products were high quality and loved staying in the room!! Very comfortable!!! Grounds: although small, they had multiple seating areas (again tastefully decorated and quaint) as well as bocce ball court which was a fun addition. The grounds are lit at night and it gives a beautiful romantic vibe!! Kitchen: they have stocked kitchen open 24/7 and during the weekday, you get coffee/tea, yogurt, fruits, and snack bars all day long in the kitchen. Beautiful setting and lovely tea selection. Enjoyed some of the pistachios, yogurt and banana along with my tea. Staff: staff were amazing and though not there the entire day, they made it feel like we were taken care of throughout without any issues! A major thanks for making the stay so lovely and comfortable. We definitely will stay at R Inn Napa during our future stays in town.

Yelp
I'm a fan! Will be back ! Quiet and good for privacy and a calm getaway to decompress from a crazy world. Conveniently located walking distance ( as in less than 5 min) to Angeles, Napa river and The General Store ( restaurant cafe) Downtown Napa is very close ( 5-8 min walk) and boutique stores 3 min away... alongside a ton of wine tasting rooms. After wine tasting walk back to the Inn Great for couples traveling together or in pairs ! Great for girlfriend getaways or even company groups traveling for work play combo. There are a few co working spaces on the grounds and some meeting and event rooms though not entirely private for those who want a completely isolated space ... Can't imagine some of the common areas appropriate for families with loud kids running around ( lots of artwork and sculptures around to break .... I'm sure you'd need to pay for if you break ) I can imagine it appropriate for families with teens , adult offspring or infants that can't walk yet. I also noticed cameras everywhere so although the common areas are nicely decorated and snacks in the common dining area there are cameras so you shouldn't go crazy just pocketing it all (for those of you who are hoarders at buffets lol ) Industrial dimly lit masculine modern art decor is absolutely stunning. It's like living in a modern art gallery slash google office environment but more comfy. I love the stimming modern jazz smooth groovy music in the common areas. I was impressed with the gourmet kitchen in the community kitchen area ! Industrial gas stove with over 6 burners and oven. Snacks like pistachios and "kind " bars, boxed cereals, bananas, and a fridge stocked with milk, Diet Coke, and waters. There is also some wine in the common areas for consumption. Coffee bar with automatic machine is fully stocked including flavored syrups... natural and artificially flavored Seating areas vary: twos , fours, a table with a lazy Susan, and a formal dining area which doubles as a work space I think. We stayed in a hotel room in the outdoor hall. We love how everything is so practical. Functional. Heated toilet seats that self cleans itself ( like a toto) and cleans you too ! Very modern no nonsense simple decor that is zen and extremely calming. Not large but cozy and relaxing ; no space left designed without purpose which feels so efficient. Sheets are so smooth and soft. ( where do you get these bed sheets,?) Bed is adjustable and just right. Crazy comfortable. There are black out shades. It was quiet even during The Napa Restaurant and Art week ! It's not exactly kid friendly but it's Napa so most come for the wine... so maybe you don't need to bring the little people on this trip if you stay here. Make it your Adult getaway ? Highly recommend. Again take care of check in by calling the front desk during office hours before checking in to square away utilization of the codes necessary at several gates on the perimeter and your room door. All codes change a lot !!!!! Also note the pound sign goes in first then digit code then pound sign again. This is unsaid !!! Arghhhh now I know why the mad hatter sculpture sits above the hallways because being Alice In wonderland is you when you enter this maze of a place with all the puzzling codes that feel more like a game( which we enjoyed by the way) I know. Go figure So if your code is 1234 punch in #1234# Good luck

Yelp
We booked a night at the R Inn because it looked like a nice property and it was right across the street from the Uptown Theater where we were seeing a show that night. The property is very nice and in great condition. There are outside seating areas (would be nice to have a fire pit at the one in the back), a bocce court and plenty of parking. It has a well stocked kitchen and separate pantry area with snacks and a high end espresso machine. The room we stayed in (#7) was located in the courtyard area. Pros: *Great Hospitality! We were met by the innkeeper who greeted us with a glass of rose and gave us information about the property. *We asked if there was a refrigerator in the room, and she said there wasn't, but could get one. It was in our room before we made it there with our luggage. *Very comfortable adjustable bed. Sheets were very luxe. *There were a number of health and beauty products provided *So great to be close to downtown Napa and enjoy the great restaurants and see a show and not have to drive home. Cons: *The bathroom seemed to have a faux exhaust vent because it took forever to clear the steam out. We had to open and close the door to get air moving *The only mirror in the room is in the bathroom. Because of the steam in the bathroom, it was not fun to try to blow dry hair or put on makeup in there. It would be great if another mirror could be in the room itself. *Not sure if the thermostat worked because it was very warm in our room. We lowered the temp to 63 but when we got back in the evening, it still felt warm *The shower was a bit annoying because the controls are on the far wall behind the glass part and every time we reached in to adjust the settings, we got wet. It would be great to have markings on the handles to let people know which is hot vs cold or showerhead vs rain shower. Water pressure also not impressive. We wanted to book again for a future concert but since it was on a Friday night vs the Monday night we stayed, the room rate went up about $200 a night! That's Napa for you. Even though we had some misses, we would definitely consider staying there again (during the week!) because of it's convenient location and great service.

Yelp
The staff is pleasant, the room is clean, breakfast was nice. But the property is cold, has no life. The room felt like a hospital room. I could not sleep at all knowing the history of the property, which still felt very much like that to me. Our friends booked it for the trip so it was not my choice. I will not be choosing it in the future. If you are sensitive to energy of property you stay at, please know there is a very heavy sad presence here. Do your research about the address, if that doesn't bother you, then go ahead and see for yourself.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay! This Inn has a ton of huge perks: there is free parking, is only a 4 minute walk into downtown Napa, and is very affordable. My friend and I went for a girls weekend and we're very happy with this choice. The room was clean, modern, put together nicely! The bathroom is huge - the toilet has a heated seat. We did not try the breakfast but there were free coffees, juices, and etc. Would absolutely recommend.

Yelp
I am beyond impressed with this adorable rustic boutique hotel in Napa! My girls and I went here for my surprise bachelorette weekend and it was the perfect getaway for us. First off, the location is prime in downtown Napa and is walkable to many desirable, bars, wineries, restaurants. We were able to walk to Morimoto's, Avow and Sky and Vine rooftop bar, which I highly recommend to include in your itinerary. Secondly, the place is beautiful with lots of fresh plants/wall climbing vines, modern rustic comfortable quarters (RH vibes) with lots of amenities, cute outdoor seating, lounge areas, tasty complimentary breakfast (morning buns, croissants, quiche, fruit, yogurt, juice) and hot beverage machine (coffee, tea, hot chocolate). We stayed in the separate bungalow as well as a few other rooms in the main building. My friends cooked brunch and we enjoyed it in the outdoor seating area and they also surprised me with a 5 course private chef dinner on site! They decorated the mini barn outside the bungalow and it was just magical. I highly recommend this place for a girls trip, couples' getaway, family reunion- R Inn sets the bar high for quality, amenities, and you really can't beat the location! The owner and his staff are super nice too and are always onsite to help with any of your needs. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Yelp
Usually we stay at a bed & breakfast when visiting Napa for the Lighted Arts Festival, but our fave didn't make it so I decided to book a room here based on reviews and it's great location in Downtown Napa. I received a text the day of check-in asking around what time I'd be checking in and after responding, they let me know that I'd get a text and email when the room was ready. I got into Napa around lunch so I was glad to get a text saying that my room was ready early and after reading the check-in email, I made my way over (check-in/out is all virtual). They have ample free guest parking and I quickly found my way to room 10. The room was as I expected it to be after looking at the photos online and I quickly got comfortable as I planned to stay in for a few hours before heading out. I suspect it's the same in all of the Courtyard rooms, but there was no closet or dresser in my room, which was fine since I was just staying one night and didn't have much. Things I loved where the smart TV with lots of watching options, the adjustable bed, the complimentary bottle of wine, and the bidet. Room 10 doesn't have any windows but with the skylight and frosted glass at the front door, I didn't miss them. One thing to note, even with the heat on at night, the floors were frigid - so bring socks or slippers if that's important to you. I took a look around the grounds and it's very green and relaxing. Lots of outdoor areas to sit and relax and a bocce ball part. I can see booking the inn with a large group of friends and being able to unwind at the end of the day outside when the weather is nice. I checked out this morning and went to the Loft building to check out the continental breakfast. That building is a lot bigger from what I saw and has a nice "break room" area where they had breakfast set up. There was a keurig, juices, milk, yogurt, cereal, snacks, pastries and a quiche of some sort. I grabbed a bottle of OJ and a glory bun and I was surprised at how fresh the bun was. I ran into the staff just once or twice and they were friendly and helpful, although I didn't ask for much. If you're planning to spend your visit mostly Downtown, this is a great location as I walked everywhere and felt safe and close to everything I wanted to visit.

Yelp
LOVE the R Inn from first stay, that I can't wait to return again in 2021! It's located on the outskirts of downtown Napa but close enough to walk into. The best part is its chic, modern charm, coziness and the quality perks! The rooms are small but very cozy, furnished nicely with the best fixtures installed! The bed is definitely comfortable to ensure a good night's sleep. If you don't want to open one of your fancy winery bottles, they provide a complimentary bottle in the room for you. The bathroom is awesome for the bidet which I LOVE! Very little hotels have one if at all from what I've noticed. There is a rain shower head for those who love these and/or a hand held. Breakfast is served in their elongated kitchen which usually has different daily offerings among the regular continental style breakfast items (fruit, yogurt, bananas, oatmeal etc.). They made an excellent quiche with bacon and cheese one morning and had scrambled eggs and sausage another morning. There are little cafe tables to eat in the kitchen or you're free to take it back to the room. There's juices, water, coffee and tea as well. I'm totally looking forward to repeating this experience and returning with the girls in January rooming all together in their new loft!

Yelp
TL;DR - An absolutely delight! We loved our stay and would come back! I am normally not a hotel person, they often feel stale to me, but I have to admit R INN NAPA surprised me! This hotel is more on the modern side - which means that they use lots of grey and whites (for example, gray hardwood floors, white walls, etc.). The benefit of this type of look/feel is that I felt that the hotel was very clean, and that's important now more than ever. The attention to detail was wonderful. The bed is adjustable, so you can adjust the height and even elevate your legs! The bedsheets were so soft, you wanted to melt into the bed - though the bed was softer than I'd like, which made it slightly too warm at night. There were plenty of outlets and even ones with USB plugs. Additionally, the living area had a loveseat couch with a tv mount that swivels! The bathroom featured a Japanese bidet, which cleans front and rear ;) as well as dries your bum and has an automatic heated seat (LOL). It also features a rainfall showerhead and is big enough for two people!! Plus, free wine is a great addition. The pantry area was an absolute surprise! They had tons of snacks and drinks. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Yelp
One of the silver lining to this pandemic is the discovery of this hidden gem of Napa. I have stayed at several other hotels but R Inn Napa has become my favorite "home away from home". The hotel is very posh, chic and upscale. I am a frequent flyer and the rooms are extremely comfortable that provides very soft bedsheets, lovely bidets, adjustable bed, beautiful and inspiring interior and exterior art designs. I stayed at the loft suite for the first time and it was stunning. It felt like a custom built contemporary RH home. I especially enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. A self served breakfast is included with choices from local pastries, fruits, oatmeal, and yogurt. The best part of the kitchen is the top of the line espresso machine. This is a bonus to my stay especially when wine tasting starts at 10am. Our stay would be incomplete and couldn't have been experienced in any other way without the exceptional customer service provided by Sierra. She goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is always comfortable that leaves me well rested and coming back for more. My friends and I have fallen in-love with this boutique hotel and I highly recommend it for those who is planning a trip to Napa.

Yelp
Let me tell you we had an amazing experience at this boutique hotel! The establishment is so elegant and inviting. You wouldn't believe the details. This place looks like it came out of a magazine! My mother and I came here for a girls Napa trip and we will definitely be coming back. I broke down this review in terms of the service, hotel, and room. Service: 10/10 -Sean is the best host we've ever had! From the minute we booked the hotel he was reaching out to us with recommendations. He was attentive and always available when needed. We were actually greeted with a bottle of wine on the counter when we walked into our room. He even brought fresh pastries in the morning! He made our experience the best. Hotel: 10/10 -There is an indoor and an outdoor section. -The indoor section includes: a dining room, the loft rooms, a kitchen, and the hang out lounge area with a fire place. -The outdoor section includes: a garden with a seating area, a covered lounge area, bocce game setup, and the garage style bedrooms (where ours was). -Everything was super clean & chic! -Perfect location; not noisy at all! 4 minutes walking distance from the main street of downtown Napa. Room: 10/10 -well tastefully decorated -Comfortable, cozy, and clean (especially the bed & duvet cover - we didn't want to get up haha) -The bed inclined. -AC -Spacious shower -State of the art toilet: Toto Washlet. Honestly, I highly recommend this place! This is more of an adults hotel, but if you're coming with the girl friends, or your significant other, you should definitely stay here. You will not regret it! THANKS SEAN!

Yelp
WE WILL BE BACK!! We stayed in room 1 i. the courtyard and then room #13 in the loft building. I'm so happy we got to experience both areas. This is a great mix of hotel/bed and breakfast vibes. It is very modern and upscale with hidden perks throughout. From a beautiful expresso machine in the loft building kitchen, to being welcomed with a glass of Rosé. They had snacks all over (that my husband was very happy about). They had a handwritten bday card in our room. That made my trip so special. Complimentary wine bottles in every room, water, milk, juice. The Inn itself is such a relaxing treat. Then add that you are walking distance to everything you would need. From shopping, dinning. wine tasting, and live music. Rosa welcomed us when we arrived and was eager to ensure our stay was 5 stars. She went of her way to recommend the perfect restaurants and wineries. We had night 1 dinner at Cole's Steakhouse (also a 5 star!) and night 2 at Avow's (the food, cocktails and live music were lovely). Thank you Rosa for the hospitality and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We have already messaged all our friends to recommend this spot. Planning to return in January to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I think we will stay in one of the 2 story lofts on that occasion and stay 3 nights instead of 2. Just so much to do and see.

Yelp
I am actually quite disappointed in staying here as I bookmarked this place for a long time. We stayed in the loft and experienced so much noise issues. We heard banging every time the court yard doors opened, when the common areas were being used and then foot traffic from the hall ways. The noise traveled so loud and there was no one working in the front desk past 5'pm to ask these guests to calm down or no one to respond to our text inquiries. Then the towels used throughout the inn were so damp and had so much lint rubbing off that it just got all over you when you got out the shower. Alerted the front desk and they said well that's too bad that's the only ones we have. They had rarely anyone working the front desk, no formal welcome, it just felt like a motel ambiance. Very poor customer service, quality did not reflect the cost per night of stay. Wish we stayed elsewhere and advise you to as well.

Yelp
My fiancé and I celebrated Valentine's Day in Napa and he surprised me with booking our stay here. Very impressed with the modern design and cleanliness of this adorable inn. Downtown is walking distance from this stay. At night there's a pool table lounge across the street to check out. Wonderful get away!

Yelp
Absolutely adorable hotel. Stayed there last night and could not have enjoyed our stay more. Everything we needed for a quick night in Napa for a concert. Clean. Well kept. Excellent service. Great location. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Yelp
When we were checking in, they said there was an issue with my room so they upgraded it. You get a bottle of wine in your room. You also get all the snacks, water, soda, yogurt, and milk that you want. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is Adult friendly. No kids anywhere running around. Free parking. Comfortable bed. Awesome toilets that are warm when you sit down. This place was Amazing!!!

Yelp
Beautiful self check in hotel located in downtown Napa in the historical district. Very beautiful and modern hotel.

Yelp
We stayed here back in the fall of 2022 and this was such a great location. It was so quiet and just a few short blocks from downtown. The room was immaculate, clean and well appointed. The common areas of the hotel were a nice addition with lots of great places for hanging out mostly to ourselves. It was a great home base for our trip across the valley.

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem... I stumbled upon R Inn when I was searching travel sites and had to yelp it to get more info. I was surprised not to find much on here, but everyone had rave reviews. The exterior is a historical building, but once you step foot into this place, expect attention to details! The night before and the morning of our stay, I was contacted by Sierra who wanted to know some basic info so she could try and accommodate any of our needs. We walked into the small entry way only to be greeted by Sierra herself. We were welcomed with a glass of Rosé as she walked us to our room, showed us how everything worked, and the layout of the Inn. Here's a "few" of the highlights and details that I really enjoyed: keypad entry, high ceilings, super comfy bed that reclines, plush pillows, soft sheets, welcome bottle of wine waiting in our room, two bag racks for you and your partner, umbrella was available in the room if needed, the HVAC unit was easy to use and kept the room comfortable, soft towels that didn't leave lint or fuzz, Toto bidet toilet with seat warmer, a black wash cloth to remove make up (first ive ever seen at any resort), complimentary water/soda/juice/milk/coffee/tea any time of the day or night, big parking lot and walking distance to everything in downtown Napa! The communal "Pantry" was a neat concept... everything was flawless from top to bottom; all of the details... I appreciated all of it! Would love to come back here again!

Yelp
The hotel and manager are great, very friendly staff. My top reasons for staying here in no particular order: 1. Quiet 2. The bidet 3. Adjustable bed 4. Keyless entry 5. Contactless check in 6. Freebies: snacks, juice, internet 7. Free bottle of wine upon check-in 8. Weekend continental breakfast 9. Close to downtown, restaurants, shopping 10. Close to bike/jogging trail 11. Hotels modern look Will stay here when I return to Napa!

Yelp
I'd give this place 1 million stars if I could. So many great amenities. Gorgeous rooms, great service, & amazzinnggg location. Great price too! Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Wow! Picked this based on the YELP ratings, but they were wrong. So much better!!! We always prefer hardwood floors, but add super ultra clean and that's a winning combo especially for these Covid times. The bed was super comfortable and felt like brand-new clean and had power adjustments! The complementary bottle of Cab was much appreciated at our late arrival and sooo good too! The little man on top of the wall in this clean little courtyard was a great way to greet us. But, the bathroom - with bidet toilet! Whoa!!!! Did I say we like it here? Great job R Inn - we'll be back!!!!

Yelp
This is an impeccable boutique hotel. The check-in was easy and hassle-free. Great amenities and convenient to everywhere in Napa. We had an excellent time and a great experience at R Inn. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Such a clean, modern hotel right in the perfect location of Downtown, Napa. TOTO washlet toilets and Kohler Sink!!! And free bottle of wine! *the room is so spotless, the bed can move up and down to your liking, the TV has every channel you need and Apple TV!!!! And a community kitchen with the most amazing high quality snacks. They even served us complimentary breakfast in the morning on Saturday from a local bakery. Thank you Sean for the amazing service!!! See you again!

Yelp
Hands down the best place to stay in Napa. Seriously, book now. I'm very grateful and fortunate to have stayed in wonderful hotels across the world for both business and personal travel. The experience here was both by far one of the best, most comfortable and friendly experiences while also being affordable -- especially for Napa area. Marissa (owner & designer) greeted us upon arrival even after sending the text confirmation and info to check in. She's personable and has one of the best eyes for modern design that I've ever experienced IRL beyond Pinterest ‍ My partner and I will definitely be back & I also hope to organize a corporate even here soon (once we get back up and running with those)

Yelp
Full disclosure because it may matter to some people...they call it a historic building...in fact, it was a mortuary.

Yelp
Wow!!! This place is amazing, highly recommend staying. Great location walking distance to everything downtown. The exterior of the R Inn is just stunning left us in awe. Plenty of space to hang out and sip on some wine while enjoying your time in Napa. We've stayed in some really nice hotels and air bnb's in the past and let me tell you the the amount of detail and planning they put into this place is another level. The interior of the room was the perfect size, modern, very open and well lit. We stayed in room 1 facing the street. We were concerned with car noise let me tell you you don't hear them. The automatic blinds are a nice touch as well, very convenient. The beds are extremely comfortable so much we were looking forward to laying back on them while we were wine tasting. The bathroom set up was also on another level, I loved how the door served two purposes it closed off to the main living area and also closed off to the shower and toilet. Speaking of the toilet, yes the toilet, they are heated our first experience with heated toilet seats, wow!! If we could sit on these all day we would . This is an example of the small details that were put into the R Inn that make it an experience like no other. There is a pantry by the rooms as well that is open by key code any time, very convenient. In the pantry room you'll find the ice machine, spare dishes and glassware and much more. Additionally, the R Inn has another common space area and a full kitchen with a stove, another ice machine and a killer coffee machine. This is located in the front of the R Inn. Lastly I would like to thank Sean for a wonderful experience, Thank you Sean. Again if you're looking for a place to stay in Napa don't look elsewhere trust me you won't be disappointed. The R Inn is an experience in itself.

Yelp
pros: proximity to downtown Napa, less than 10 rooms, clean, modern, hardwood floors, free (self) parking, free WiFi, free breakfast (coffee/juice/pastries), locks are digitized, large TV with Netflix, etc cons: NONE possible issues for some: lack of windows but makes up for it with skylights and a frosted glass door, no closet space but has coat racks and hooks

Yelp
It won't be long before this "best kept secret" gets exposed and hordes of tourist begin to flock to this hidden gem in the heart of downtown Napa. My trip began the day before when I requested an early check in. To my surprise, they had my room ready before 10am. I was emailed the room code (no key) and I was able to drop off my luggage before heading out. I ran into one of the owners Marissa and she gave me a brief tour of the hotel and explained everything in detail, including the pantry that was loaded with drinks, fruits and anything else you could want or need. I stayed in room 8 and I absolutely loved my stay. Free parking. Check. Clean rooms. Check. Automatic window shades. Check. Adjustable reclining bed. Check. Ice cold AC. Check. Privacy. Check. Plushiest towels every made. Check. BTW if you are looking for the exact same towels (Hotel Collection) they have at R Inn Napa, check out Macys and don't forget your coupons. Trust me...my wife has spent hundreds of dollars over the years trying to find the softest towels and Hotel Collection is the best of the best. Back to the room, I think one of the coolest features was the door that could be utilized to block off just the bathroom or the sink area and bathroom. It's a little difficult to explain but once you see it, you'll definitely be amazed. Anyways I did run into the other co-owner Sean a few times while going in and out and we had a couple great conversations. He was telling me their plans to build lofts in the adjacent building. I am excited to see how these will turn out. All in all I enjoyed my stay and I can't wait to get back. Over the last 6 months I have been to Napa 3 times for business and have stayed in 3 different hotels. I am glad I finally found my new home away from home. Marissa and Sean are genuinely great hospitable owners and I can't wait to stay there again.

Yelp
This hotel is amazing! Its fresh, modern, crazy clean, and the room was perfect. The pantry is super awesome with water, coffee, snacks, anything you could need. Staff was super awesome, and the way they set you up with your room info and code before you arrive is great. Lastly, its perfectly located, you can walk to everything.

Yelp
We stumbled across this great find using the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal and boy did we make a great choice. We were looking for something near Downtown Napa and in close proximity to nearby attractions for a reasonable price and honestly, we got WAY MORE than we expected from R Inn Napa. Though it was a rainy day when we arrived, we were greeted and given complimentary wine upon arrival. We got a tour of the place, which includes it's own pantry. In our room we also got a complimentary wine bottle to enjoy during our stay! Now the room was just absolutely amazing with the AC, adjustable bed, big screen TV, and heated toilet...we honestly found it very hard to leave the room. I also liked how the room had TWO of those foldable luggage holders - one for me and one for my friend. The space also had plenty of space to hang clothes inside. Everything was so modern and well kept. Totally loved it. Overall, we really had NO complaints other than maybe a rug inside the room during rainy days to wipe our shoes...but other than that everything exceeded our expectations.

Yelp
My wife and I have stayed at several places in Napa. We have seen the good and the bad. From the small B&B to the larger chain hotels. After staying at R INN, we have now seen the EXCELLENT! I'll start with the staff: the communication was impeccable. I asked for an early check in weeks before we actually stayed at the property, and on the day of check-in received a text message in the morning that our room was ready. Check-in was easy and quick. Met one of the owners at the property during breakfast, and he spent time giving us the history of the property, and provided some helpful information about Napa. Throughout the entire experience we felt like we were family. Napa is all about good wine and a good experience at each winery. But I highly suggest that you spend a few extra dollars to make your Napa experience "over the top" by booking a room at R Inn Napa. In the past, we've tried doing an economical Napa by saving a few dollars on our room, and went home disappointed. We left R Inn Napa and we were blown away by the amenities, customer service, location, etc. Room amenities: walk-in shower with ceiling, rain-fall shower head. Heated toilet seat, with several other functionalities. Wonderful adjustable mattress and linens. Large flat screen TV (70in). Modern touches throughout the entire facility. Breakfast: unlimited coffee (almond milk, butter, sugar, Splenda, half and half, milk, etc.) Yogurt, cereal, breads, etc. Shared kitchen with access to dishwasher, silverware, refrigerator, toaster, and several other amenities. Extras: glass of wine upon arrival, a smile and sincere welcome from people that want to make your experience excellent, chocolate and a bottle of wine in the room. Bottle opener, very good air conditioning, modern alarm clock. Electronic door keypad (no need for a key or a key card). I'm sure that I've missed several other amenities but I can tell you that our friends that stayed at the Marriott this weekend are jealous of us. If you can get a room at R Inn Napa, book it! It's worth the experience and having an unbelievable Napa vacation. Thanks R Inn Napa

Yelp
'm beyond speechless about the last 24 hours and how wonderful the Inn was. From the first step through the doors, to be greeted in the tasting room with a glass of vino...the Inn was immaculate and the staff so personable and accommodating. I've stayed at inn's/hotels all over the world and this little hidden treasure is a slice of heaven! An hour away from San Francisco and well worth it. We will all be back over and over again! Cheers and thank you!

Yelp
The perfect spot for a getaway weekend. Attention to details in every aspect of the hotel. From the soft and fluffy bed sheets and pillows, to the wall colors and paintings to match, Sean (the owner) and his family put a lot of work to make sure his guests feel comfortable and right at home. Big flat screen tv, adjustable beds, remote controlled ac/heater, shampoo, body wash, and lotion included, blow dryer, iron board, free breakfast in pantry area. Like some of the other reviews say, you don't really want to leave the hotel unless you have to. We really enjoyed our stay here at R Inn Napa. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
The R Inn is a hidden hideaway, which will soon be discovered by all. We checked in after hours and received a detailed email regarding the special check-in instructions along with the keypad access codes, quite high tech and convenient. Upon arrival to the property, we were immediately impressed with the ample parking and the charm and coziness of the property. The Inn is perfectly situated and walking distance to downtown Napa and several great restaurants and shops. The hidden landmark is home to 10 rooms, which each have their own distinct design and the décor include several personal touches. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and impeccably clean. The door to the bathroom serves a dual purpose...door to the sink area, which then converts to a door to the restroom, quite clever and unique. Kudos to the contractor, interior decorator and management for doing such an amazing job! It is quite apparent that no detail was overlooked. After spending the day wine tasting, we enjoyed winding down in our room and enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine, while watching Netflix in the adjustable bed. There is a convenient pantry located on the property in case you want to grab something to drink or a quick snack...the quiche was incredible. The experience was amazing from beginning to end and I highly recommend that everyone take advantage of the heated bidet....it's a must! After visiting the Inn, I'm convinced the "R" stands for ravishing!

Yelp
Really well thought out experience. From the keyless doors, clean layout of the room, simple but nice breakfast, and the person running the front desk was amazing. Close to downtown Napa as well. It's new so I think it's still a bit of a secret but once that changes it will be hard to get this place again.

Yelp
Well I stayed at this Art Hotel in downtown Napa - before it opened... It was interesting... Original art in each room, rooms are tight - like in Europe. All rooms of an exterior alley Bed was comfortable, 55" TV, AC... but the hit was... The heated toilet seat with private hygiene shower to finish up... the best... They're trying to open for Bottle Rock (good luck with that) and they book thru Air B&B. Pretty low key... no signs yet But an interesting nice experience...

Yelp
Admittedly, I had been reluctant to write a review after managing resorts for 20 years. I left the industry and since wanted to share when I find a true hospitality driven resort/hotel/inn/BnB, etc... The R Inn Napa is such an unique experience. They take amazing care of you and provide an elevated and much needed different experience then the typical mundane hotel stay. The rooms are minimal, but have carefully designed to the last touch. They upgraded all the necessities and made a modern vibe throughout the Inn. The bed is so comfortable that you have to remind yourself In the morning that you're in Napa and you have to get out of it and enjoy the wine tasting. The pantry, complimentary glass of wine at check in, the bottle in your room and even the heated toilet seat. (Yep) Truly an experience that we won't forget and will certainly trust them with our accommodations in future. Thank you for making it a wonderful and memorable experience.

Yelp
What a wonderful charming Inn located a block from downtown NAPA and an hour from San Francisco! We were fortunate to stay at this charming place where each room is unique and decorated with the most amazing art! Quiet with plush bedding and decor....this is definitely a "must stay".
