R2 SUPPER CLUB

Great mix of people from all over the world, mostly 30+, all enjoying top-tier music and cocktails. I had a non-stop dancing night with a perfect best soundtrack. Super friendly atmosphere where you can easily chat in English and meet new people. Nice drinks, great energy, and a view to match. Highly recommended!

Very nice bar and night club in Roppongi!! Not the small normal bars you find on the street. I went on a tuesday night and it was fun! Not full of course but great vibes and great standing. The drinks and the bar are great! Would highly recommend it. There was a DJ also all night long even on a Tuesday and english songs! The only awkward thing is that people are smoking inside.

Lost its vibe after Covid. Much quieter than before. Kitchen is still great. Its true some table staff/bouncers kept asking for tips - fleeced by an acquaintance staff this trip. Junior staff are generally OK. Advice is stick to the bar. Avoid the tables and R3.

If you are in the market for a stylish exclusive lounge style bar this could be the place. Please be aware that smoking is allowed inside, also it might not be your preferred choice. Hospitality is king here, and you are welcome to pay with your good name. :-)

I was in Japan for a fun time with my friends and the moment I walked into R2 Supperclub Ben greeted me with such a warm smile and so much joy! Ben made the night memorable!! I give this place 10 stars across the board! Ben set me up with Louis and MJ to service us for the night and they were great also! Ben kept checking in on us and he was phenomenal! Highly recommend!!

Very classy and trendy lounge with delicious food, tasty/pretty drinks, great music, and a very professional/hospitable staff who all are dressed elegantly in suits. I’d say it’s the best club in all of Tokyo so I definitely recommend it 😊

The best club to have a good time and dance in tokyo. The drinks are extrem delicious. The Service is perfect. I realy recomend this club your trip to Japan.

Man, from 1 Star to 5 stars reviews, i get all of their opinion. Perspective is widely different by genders and personality. First and foremost, this place is not shitty. It's pretty fancy and they maintaining well. Our server was really attentive and thoughtful. I can't comment on cocktails here as I never had one. If you are afraid that you might get ripped off, stick with beers and wine. No space of failure here. The cheapest bottle is 8000yen that serves 6 glasses. In the end, the price is just about the same or less than ordering per glass or per bottle of beer that are usually 1100 - 1300 yen. If you are lady and come with only your girlfriends, you'll be likely hit on. If you enjoy for attention, that's fine. But if you just want to mind your business, this place may not be suitable. I always come here with a group of friends and usually get a table. So far, no obnoxious dudes crashed our party. As other reviewers said, foreign bankers consist major demographics here. And there are quite number of lady expect you to pay if you hit on them. Make sure you're stacked with cash.

The typical banker crowd with pretty girls and guys with a slight hint of douche. I mean, every city has one of these high end drinking spots and this is one of them for Roppongi. The table system is really poor where you are asked to share tables which makes this place a little less exclusive than what it should be. What was annoying was the lack of communication regarding table service and also random people hanging out near our table using it as a drink/purse holder and ashtray. The staff are generally quite friendly but in general the crowd and layout is a huge miss for me.

r2 has been one of my favourite party places in Tokyo for a year now. Last thursday I went there again but for the first time not only for drinks but also for food. i was positively surprised by all of it: quality, presentation and price. Food came in tapas style and so it was great to share with my friends. Little burgers, fish&chips, wagyu sirloin, crabbe cake balls. Everything was yummy and the service impeccable. Definitely the place for easy dinner and great drinks!!!

A female friend invited me to join her here at R2 Supper Club on a Wednesday night for some small bites and drinks. It was surprisingly empty. Only a few patrons were scattered about the large dining room lounge. Upon being seated we were told that Wednesday is ladies night and my friend will receive 50% off all of her drink orders, excluding champaign. Good for her since drinks cost double what they should. Small drinks are even more expensive than most food on the menu. We had fresh fruit martinis that tasted like they were only a mixture of juice. I had some nachos which were ok. The waiter took our drink order again. I said I was fine without a drink and my friend ordered a mojito. The waiter gave me a glass of water and my friend her mojito. She drank her mojito and I had my water. I asked my friend if her drink tasted good and she said yes and offered me a sip. I declined and I joked that if I taste her drink the price will double. We laughed. So when we were ready to leave and I asked another waiter for the bill. I looked at the charges and noticed my friends mojito was full price. I showed the waiter the mistake and he tells me the other waiter said I ordered the mojito, not my friend. I explained that I didn't and he took the bill back to the bar. 2 minutes later the waiter came back with the bill. The Mojito was still full price. The waiter tells me that the other waiter claims he saw me drinking the mojito, which I did not. At this point I've become irritated, mostly because they are acusing me of lying. After I assured the waiter again that I did not drink the mojito, he returned with a new bill that had the mojito correctly priced with the ladies night discount. A place like this should have more respectful staff and not try swindle its customers. Needless to say, I will not go back there again.

This venue definitely had potential to be a good place for early drinks before a night out. It fell short in several categories for me though. First of all, are there no fire hazards in a place like this? Barely any room on a Friday night for people to walk in and out and the people who weren't sitting at a table just ended up crowding and hovering around the bar area. It was difficult to place orders for drinks and even more difficult to make it to the bathroom which is in the back corner of the whole place. Second, what's up with the music? Too much house and it ended up being boring after five minutes. I think if things got cleaned up in terms of accessibility inside this place could be way better. Everywhere else in this area seemed so grimy, I would have appreciated a clean, classy and comfortable place to grab some drinks.

The place feels kinda trashy in all regards. It's a bar for foreigners to talk to random "local" girls? maybe... anyways you get it. BTW the drinks here were not just watered down, but NOT including alcohol at all, can you believe that?

R2 Supper Club, located just 2-minutes away from B4 Exit of Roppongi Metro Station, is owned by the creators of Omotesando's TWO ROOMS GRILL I BAR. The venue is based on the 1930's underground New York jazz club. Accompanied by live entertainment, R2 Supper Club offers a combination of good food, cocktails and cigars. Seats 100, but on weekends the venue gets quite crowded with over 300 patrons enjoying the night out. Open 4pm to 4am except Sundays (Closes midnight) and is great for grabbing a classic cocktail or a martini. Attractive happy hour from opening until 20pm, with 2 for 1 specials for Champagne (Louis Roederer), premium red & white wines, Gin Bombay Sapphire, and Vodka Grey Goose. Venue has English-speaking staff and English menu available.

Dear owner of this place: please change your manager. He really has no interest in maximizing your business. Send him back to the Oak Door. Most recent experience was a Sunday evening where he told the bartenders to tell everyone it was last call because he was tired. Yet there were 40 people in the place with lots of energy and drinking going on. Dozens and dozens of times I've seen your manager neglecting those with money in favor of working girls and their handlers who, I'm guessing, are doing him lots of favors. Time for a change.

Met some friends there for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night. The food was great- lots of small plates perfect for sharing and all of them pretty well priced. I tried the hummus, chicken wings, mini burgers, beef slices, and vegetables with dip. Service was very good and all the staff were super attentive. Drinks were delicious- i would recommend the yuzu mojito for sure.

Great place. Amazing cocktail program, delicious apps. Mini sliders are a must. They're so cute I didn't know whether to eat them or hug them. I ate them. Yummy!!! Very upscale and fantastic spot for ex-pats to hang out, especially if you want to go somewhere that everyone speaks English. I highly recommend to locals as well as foreigners. Chill atmosphere with awesome music and great looking people. Enjoy!
