Powered site. Ground was uneven and quite rocky. Main facilities were mixed. One toilet and shower block was in poor condition and stank badly. Other was ok, but overcrowded. Pool and kitchen areas were good if a little bit small for the size of the camp. Maintenance and upkeep were not good enough. Toilets out of order and not clean enough, bins constantly overflowing, games room closed for 2 of our 4 days. RAC can and do do better in other parks. Won't be back to this one.

Just spent 5 days on one of the powered caravan sites. Really disappointed in the state of the caravan powered sites. They are uneven, sandy and certainly not grassy. In the 5 days there- we saw no maintenance, no watering on these sites. Saw watering on the non powered sites and the pool area- but there needs to be a lot of work done on the sites. This park has potential to be a great park, as it is in a convenient position for travelling north or south. If you ask high rates for your sites, you need to provide a decent, level “grass “ site. Most of the matting on the sites need to be replaced and the potholes in the roads need to be fixed.

Perfect spot for families looking for a short getaway in Perth and heading to the desert to watch the stars! Watch out for the kangaroos and wildlife while driving at night - stay in and enjoy the facilities instead! Head over before it gets dark. Loved the space and the rooms felt comfortable and well-maintained.

This caravan park was a huge disappointment for us. Being RAC members, we always look to stay at RAC holiday parks first as we know that we can trust that the facilities will be decent but this time we left the park knowing that we will never return. The caravan sites and the whole park in general is quite run down. The only decent part of the park is the swimming pool area which are some of the only pictures they put up on the website so you feel as though you will be staying at this amazing holiday park with great facilities but that is not the case. There is no sullage point so we had to drain the water from our van on the grass/sand. There is only one hand dryer in the female bathrooms which wasn’t even working and there are no paper towels to dry your hands. The staff are not very friendly at all. I needed to purchase laundry detergent to wash my son’s sheets and they had none. The lady at reception wasn’t very helpful about it and didn’t even point me in the direction of the general store. If you do decide to stay there, keep in mind that it is extremely windy so it is hard to enjoy the beach!

We had a great break, bit windy. The only downside was the Bushfire. On Wednesday afternoon 27 /11/ 24 , there was a change with the fire. We were really impressed with the Manager and the calm manner in which he advised us that it was time to leave the Park. The park was evacuated in an orderly way. Later we heard that Cervantes residents were advised to leave . Very sad.We will definitely return when it's fine to do so.

Good location close to the beaches. VERY packed over new years period. Lots of loud music playing from guests and lots of streetlights nearby shining into the park. Friendly staff, especially in reception!

Avoid if possible there are old and newer amenities in this very dense campground. the old ones are really bad and the newer ones already need an updo. Very little is well maintained. There is constantly dirt/hair in the women’s bathrooms (all of them). The pool is shaded but the area has no shade whatsoever. This is all way below RAC standards but still the same high price.

We booked 2 sites for 3 nights for Australia Day long weekend. We chose the park because of RAC and the pictures online. Once we negotiated the post and rail and the high rise curb whilst backing in we settled in. Our sites were unpowered. The 2 sites were very bare of grass and were mostly uneven sand patches but very large. All nights were very windy and this is not the park fault but we were smashed with sand. Toilet sites were very dirty most of the weekend, grubby and very smelly. These were cleaned once but maybe more but with a really packed park twice a day should have considered and considering the high charges for a peak weekend. Kitchen pool and bbq areas were amazing but that is where it stopped. No form of supervision around the pool, several people drinking in pool with glass, young adults bombies and throwing others into pool. No stopping these clowns and site staff nowhere to be seen as in total I saw 4 staff only. For a park this size it was very poor. Noise levels are meant to be lowered at 10 yet noisy kids and teenagers roaming around after 11 made it hard to enjoy sleep. Charging $200 for 3 nights for each unpowered site should have been a great experience but was very disappointing. Peak season should not be a money grab but the extra costs should be to have extra staff or personnel to make this a wonderful long weekend. You failed to deliver. I was not the only people complaining as many mention this during walking around chatting. A stay at the overflow for $25 per night would have been much better value. Very sorry to say but more likely we won’t be coming back.
