RAC Karri Valley Resort

Beautiful cabins set amongst fantastic tall Karri trees, with a gorgeous lake to walk around. So quite and peaceful. A breath of fresh air. Also great appointed cabins (only knocked one point off due to finer details like needs a paint refresh, lots of chips... that said kind of expected when children stay. Also floors need a damn good clean, so bring slippers or house shoes. Or be prepared to wash socks every day from the red dirt.) Kitchen well appointed and had nearly everything one needed. (An air fryer or mini oven would have been useful.) Fireplace brilliant, no shortage of wood supplies. (Did i mention all staff here are amazing!!) Also the useful washer dryer combo was heaven sent. Just a lovely lovely break.

Although the view to the forset is incredible and all facilities are in excellent condition, the caravan park itself has no atmosphere - it's just grass, not a single tree, you are just exposed to a full sun all day long, no playground for kids - so kiss has absolutely nothing to do. The karri Valley Resort itself is opposite the road and about 1km walk. If you come in a car - you are good, we came in a 12m motorhome - you cannot reverse in the resort anywhere, so we had to walk - a bit long if you have kids. Also the place is 21 km away from Pemberton.

A beautiful location great walks. However. Thought we would have a drink in the restaurant. 12 noon 2 other people in restaurant took 25 Minutes for 2 drinks. After 10 minutes I had to ask what was the problem ? He had not started. Couldn’t find the rum for the special of the week. Then I asked. After 15 minutes. Maybe we could have the beer. Which came quickly but was flat. I thi k it had been sitting behind the bar for 16 mins. Finally after editing 25 mins I got my cocktail which was very nice. But the service put us off staying for lunch. Very disappointing. Annie, Victoria, sept 25

The four of us had the best 5 nights.Sad to leave.We stayed in a 3 bedroom Cabin was very roomy and everything we needed was there.(except a mop) Was nice and warm with our wood stove on.The walk around the lake was amazing. We loved it so much before we left we rebooked for next year. This time 9 nights.

Nice enough caravan park. Obviously very squelchy and muddy in the wet months. Families of kangaroos make it pretty cute. The ablutions are average (compared to other RAC parks we have stayed at) and could do with a big spring clean). The reception staff are exceptional 👏 and a fabulous asset to the place!

We had another wonderful stay at Karri Valley in one of the chalets. The staff were excellent and after my request to prepare the room for an asthma friendly stay, they gave it an extra clean and removed the rug to ensure it was allergen free, all before we arrived. ||Sitting by the fire in the room during a cold winters night is one of the most lovely experiences. As too is the nearby lake and forest walks. ||The rooms are being maintained well, and the whole resort presents so much better than it did before RAC took over management of the facility. It’s great to see this treasure being well maintained.

We recently stayed in the En-suite camping grounds and it was absolutely perfect! That little bit of extra luxury to make camping in our campervan that much easier. The en-suite is absolutely awesome, a fantastic hot, high pressure shower. It’s so nice to have a great space to store our things and also to sit in when it’s raining! Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the RAC Karri Valley Resort! 🌿 From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the beauty of the Karri forest and the peaceful lake. A special shout-out to Aiden, who went above and beyond to help us—bringing us fire starters and even helping us get our fire going. Absolutely blissful from start to finish!
