RAC Karri Valley Resort

Beautiful cabins set amongst fantastic tall Karri trees, with a gorgeous lake to walk around. So quite and peaceful. A breath of fresh air. Also great appointed cabins (only knocked one point off due to finer details like needs a paint refresh, lots of chips... that said kind of expected when children stay. Also floors need a damn good clean, so bring slippers or house shoes. Or be prepared to wash socks every day from the red dirt.) Kitchen well appointed and had nearly everything one needed. (An air fryer or mini oven would have been useful.) Fireplace brilliant, no shortage of wood supplies. (Did i mention all staff here are amazing!!) Also the useful washer dryer combo was heaven sent. Just a lovely lovely break.

We had another wonderful stay at Karri Valley in one of the chalets. The staff were excellent and after my request to prepare the room for an asthma friendly stay, they gave it an extra clean and removed the rug to ensure it was allergen free, all before we arrived. ||Sitting by the fire in the room during a cold winters night is one of the most lovely experiences. As too is the nearby lake and forest walks. ||The rooms are being maintained well, and the whole resort presents so much better than it did before RAC took over management of the facility. It’s great to see this treasure being well maintained.

Hi, fantastic place with excellent amenities for the whole family. Great facilities for campers, caravans, campervans, and resort-style accommodation. The location is amazing 👏. Stunning scenery, and the hiking and walking trails are top-notch. Just one area for improvement—the coffee wasn’t great.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the RAC Karri Valley Resort! 🌿 From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the beauty of the Karri forest and the peaceful lake. A special shout-out to Aiden, who went above and beyond to help us—bringing us fire starters and even helping us get our fire going. Absolutely blissful from start to finish!

We stayed at RAC Karri Valley Resort while traveling from Margaret River to Albany. The resort is located deep in the forest, and after a long drive through nature, we suddenly arrived at this hidden gem. The atmosphere is truly serene and surrounded by nature. Pros: • Beautiful natural surroundings with fresh air and peaceful vibes • Lots of wildlife around the resort — we saw kangaroos, emus, and sheep right near our room • The resort offers various activities for kids (although we didn’t get to try many due to rain and limited time) Cons: • The property is quite old and could use some renovation • There are no restaurants nearby, so you have to dine at the resort’s restaurant Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Just be prepared for the remote location and limited dining options.

We stayed at Karri valley last weekend in a 3 bedroom chalet. From booking in at reception till we left 4 days later we had a fantastic experience. The restaurant food is amazing the wait staff are very friendly. The cleaning staff and the staff member that supply’s the wood for the fire were all fantastic. Everything was no trouble we will definitely be back.

We stayed at the caravan park and loved it! Peaceful bush setting with lots of wildlife, great facilities for kids like the BMX track and playground, and the camp kitchen was super handy. Clean, spacious sites and friendly staff. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature!

Loved many things about our stay. But the highlight has to be the outstanding staff who were so friendly and helpful. My heartfelt gratitude to Cassie, Diana and especially Ed who went out of the way to help us when we had a dire requirement. Even the staff who manage the animal farm and activities were fabulous. Lots of Kangaroos nearby, different variety of birds on the propertyRoom overlooking the lake was lovely even at night with the tall Karri trees lit up. The trek from the property was also enjoyable
