RAC Karri Valley Resort

Perfect location, very happy with the rooms and service. This is one of the best resorts I've ever been to in Australia. Well equipped rooms. They have everything you need (pots, pans, cutlery, plates, kitchen appliances, oven, iron, washing machine with powder packets etc). Clean. Fabulous view from the windows. Very comfortable furniture (loved the sofas!). Don't know what could be better?!

We stayed here for three nights as part of a Casey's tour in the area.|We stayed in the lakeside rooms, I had room no.5|Imagine my delight when I arrived, opened my verandah door and was joined by a group of 28's (parrots) who almost walked into the bedroom. They are very tame and can be fed with specific bird food. I also met the kookaburras at night,also very tame.|The full moon on the dam was spectacular.||Anyway,the bed was delightful I had wonderful sleep and everything was spotlessly clean|Food was delicious, I was very well catered for with gluten free offers.I had steak,fish and chicken with mushrooms.|The vegetable offering was the same for three nights,tenderstem broccoli and cherry tomatoes,roast or mashed potatoes with the steak.|I had the Eton mess, cheddar cheese and sticky date pudding.|Breakfast was buffet style and fresh and filling, gluten free toast on application.|Lovely friendly staff,went above and beyond to help.|Would highly recommend,well done to all involved for making such lovely memories,what a special place it must be to work in.

Wonderful relaxing weekend with family, that went far too quickly. Excellent chalet. Enjoyed the facilities. My grandchildren had a great time hand feeding the parrots and kookaburras.The meal in the restaurant was good, but on the expensive side.

Excellent. We went child-free for a mate's 50th birthday celebration. We stayed in a lakeside room queen,, but most others had chalets and brought their kids. Everyone had an awesome time and we've re-booked to do it all again, but this time with our kids. The lakeside room queen has a breathtaking view (all of the rooms and cabins do). The rooms are spacious and very functional. The shower was of a great size, well sealed and excellent water pressure. Bed was very comfortable. The decor is a little dated, however, they are very well maintained and very clean, and there is no decor or decoration they could possibly introduce that would be impressive enough to compete with the room's view of the majestic Karri Forrest across the lake. The curtains can remain open without compromising privacy. Breathtaking views wherever you are at the resort. There are plenty of activities available, however, we didn't do as many activities as planned but only due to time. There's a great 4km walk up to the walk through tree, waterfall and around the lake. When we come back, we won't walk with our kids up to the walk through tree - the incline was punishing (especially with a hangover) and we encountered other walkers with children and there was whinging and crying from those with little legs, and the faces of their parents were covered in regret. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and again had amazing views. There is not a bad view anywhere at the park. There are also generous bbq areas scattered around which are great for the group get togethers while the kids frolic.

We spent 3 nights here in early January and found it to be a delightful setting. We had a Lakeside view chalet and were able to enjoy the beautiful view whilst observing the Marron and the parrots. A well equipped room and very comfortable bed. Staff very attentive especially when we had an issue with our toilet which was fixed immediately. We ate out at the restaurant one evening and found the food to be excellent. The only room for improvement would be the noise level from neighbors as you can feel your neighbours moving around as it is a wooden building.

This was the last stop on our WA trip, and it was the perfect place just to relax before the holiday was over. We were in one of the resort rooms overlooking the lake. Lovely spacious and comfortable room and balcony, bathroom was older but the shower was good. The setting is just gorgeous. We did a lot of just sitting watching the birds on the lake, and there are also good trails available around the lake and in Beedelup national park for when we were feeling more active. Good range of activities available. A very special mention goes to the restaurant - the food and cocktails are excellent and the view is beautiful. But more than this, the staff are so friendly, professional and welcoming that our visits were a very happy feature of our stay. Special thanks to Martina and Jack.

Beautiful resort with clean, comfortable rooms and a stunning lake view. The restaurant food was very good with generous portions, though a bit more expensive than Perth, which is expected for a resort. Nice to see EV charging available (not fast charging, but still very helpful). Room service wasn’t done on a regular daily schedule, and it would be better if adults and families with kids were in separate areas — we had noisy kids in the room above us from 6am which affected the experience. Overall, a great stay with amazing views and good food

We camped at RAC Karri Valley Resort and absolutely loved it! The tent sites were peaceful and surrounded by beautiful karri forest. Clean amenities, great walking trails, and a perfect spot for families to relax and reconnect with nature. The lake views were stunning, and we had plenty of wildlife around—especially the friendly kangaroos! Only minus point: you’ll find a lot of Kangaroo souvenirs 😄 Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a scenic and refreshing camping experience.
