We stayed for two nights in a 4-bed dorm. The room was equipped with a fan instead of air conditioning, but it was clean and offered a decent amount of space for the price. Being on the first floor, it could get a little noisy at times when kids were running around upstairs. A toilet was conveniently located nearby, and all amenities were provided. My daughter had a wonderful time at the resort — she enjoyed biking, swimming in the pool, and especially the morning dolphin-watching, where the dolphins swam remarkably close to the shore. Adding to the charm, emus roamed around freely, which was absolutely fascinating. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we would gladly return.

We stayed here 2 nights and honestly this “resort” needs a major facelift, the garden villa we had was so dark, small, the bathroom is tiny, nowhere to put your clothes and hardly any room to move around. This place is overrated. The shower is a treacle so bad it takes you hours to shower…..nowhere to hang them either, a hook would have been good. No beach towels provided nor pool towels either. We had the Buffett breakfast which again the hot stuff was cold, the pineapple was good. The dolphins didn’t show up on the feeding time allocated unfortunately so a bit disappointing. We did see them later on….we absolutely froze the first night as they only give you a very light blanket so we asked for more. We also had 2 dinners there and the fish and chips was very good! We did laundry there, it costs $6 per wash and $4 for drying. One more thing, the reception women were unfriendly the 2 times I went there so all in all we definitely won’t be returning. It needs money put in to modernise the whole place like new light fittings! The beds were very comfortable. That’s it.

This is the only accommodation option in Monkey Mia with facilities as good as anywhere. It offers guests a range of accommodation options, from beach view rooms to dormitories, caravan park and camping areas, which are all located only steps from the beach. In addition to the beach, it has guest swimming pools, restaurants and bars as well as on-site kitchen and laundry facilities.|During our stay, we stayed in one of the beach view rooms, metres from the beach overlooking the bay.|Rooms have plenty of room, A/C, nicely furnished, comfortable beds & a lovely bathroom, and despite the remote location, it had all the all the facilities you expect in a quality hotel.|The hotel has two bars and two restaurants. One of the restaurants serves mainly pizzas, hamburgers, snacks and the like, and the main restaurant has a la carte service. Breakfast is available in the main restaurant.|Of course the main reason why most people visit Monkey Mia is to see the dolphins. Despite some pictures you may have seen, guests aren't permitted to swim with the dolphins, but irrespective of this, it's fascinating seeing the dolphins come in for a nibble (feeding the dolphins is strictly regulated by the rangers). The dolphins are there every day of the year and numbers vary from three or more (maximum is twenty something). |Accommodation prices for hotel rooms were quite reasonable, but book ahead and book early. Other costs, for food, drink etc are higher than city prices, but that is expected. If you enjoy an evening drink, both bars have happy hours at different times - go to one and then on to the other. Cheers!|We really enjoyed our stay in Monkey Mia.

We really enjoyed this place a lot. Clean, well managed. Easy to go to the national park and downtown while enjoying peaceful quiet nights at this place. Dolphins swimming very very close to shore at night, you could hear them breathing and see them. Absolutely kids friendly place. My kids enjoyed watching the Emus walking around too.

Stayed a few nights in a twin room (ensuite) with ocean view. These rooms look like shipping containers stacked. Though not a huge room, it had plenty of space including a balcony with small table and two chairs. Bathroom had the necessities, room had a small fridge and kettle. Bed side tables had USB ports for charging. The resort has two restaurants (one is a bar, the other is a little fancier, though not dress up fancy). Nice beach, lots of various accommodation types (this is a big camper van area). For the rooms without ensuites there are common showers and toilets. Laundry rooms, coins only, that was 6 aud a wash and 4 aud a dry. There are also common kitchen areas. I recommend staying here vs driving in from Denham, esp if you want to see the dolphins as it's just steps away. ||Keep in mind that there is a fee for the conservation area (in which this resort is located) that is not paid as part of the room, it's a separate fee (it was 15 aud a person for 24 hours, or 25 for a month).

We waited over 25 minutes just to check in, despite only a few people ahead of us in line. The process was slow and tedious. When it was finally our turn, another guest cut in front of us. I pointed out that there was a queue, but the receptionist, Nicole, insisted on serving the other guest first. This was disappointing and felt unfair, especially after such a long wait. Others in line also expressed frustration at how the situation was handled. It would have been more appropriate for the receptionist to ask the guest to wait their turn. Facilities-wise, it’s worth checking your shower before settling in—some have very poor water pressure, which can be inconvenient. On a positive note, the dolphin experience was fantastic and absolutely worth doing. The beach was beautiful and made for a relaxing end to the day.

This lace couldn’t be better located or appointed. Great service and facilities. You couldn’t be disappointed. It is amazing. Compared to some other RAC caravan parks, this was so cheap and yep probably the most picturesque and perfectly located. Simply amazing. Thank you RAC Monkey Mia

I stayed at RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren in a 3 bedroom waterfront unit. The unit was very well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms were a bit small but adequate for a holiday stay.|The location of the unit was terrific, as it was a walk of only a few metres to the beach, and about 10 mins to where the dolphin feeding happened.|There are limited supplies at the resort shop and there was a restaurant, which we did not use as we were either out or did our own cooking.||My one concern as a retired electrical engineer and licensed electrician is that the power point was VERY close to the shower door in the ensuite. It would be very easy to touch it while standing in the shower, and therefore in the prohibited zone defined by AS3000 clause 6.4.2 (b) [2007 edition]. ||Despite my electrical concern, we enjoyed our stay and we are happy to give RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort waterfront unit 5 stars out of 5.

Yelp
We stayed at the resort for 3 nights on a powered site. We drive 12 hours from Margaret River so were relieved when we arrived that the sun was shining and there were lots of facilities on site. Our only qualm was that there was nowhere to empty our waste tank & the water hook up was bore water, not drinking water. Getting past that, we were lucky enough to see Dolphins every day of our stay!! Also multiple times a day, during the morning feed, in the afternoon when sunbathing and in the evening when eating dinner. We had one meal at the Monkey Bar, which was more casual and the food was great. (Happy hour wine not so much!). We also had one evening meal in the restaurant, which I must say was outstanding. The portions were huge and the quality was exceptional. I think if I lived in the area I would definitely be going there for meals. All staff that we came into contact with were very polite and friendly. You can purchase a wifi code from reception at very reasonable prices. I would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Yelp
This place caters for all, campers, back packers, self contained to motel style. Enough activities in the area to keep you busy for a few days.
