Racing's North Turn

A very cool place with racing history all throughout the building. There is a large parking lot across the street with a cross walk that makes much easier to get there due to how busy it gets. The bar and dining area faces the ocean and you can enter from the beach side. Best of all, the food is amazing! Extremely good seafood and the live music was great. Not overpowering so we could talk and enjoy.

Racing’s North Turn is a must-stop. Visiting Daytona for Bike Week, I stayed with some local friends, and they said this was the best spot around. I can see why all the racing history in the entryway is captivating. The main seating area is large and comfortable. They had a great live band, the food was excellent and served quickly, and our server, Jessica, was fun and attentive.

Of course we couldn't leave Daytona without going by Racing's North Turn which was recommended by a coworker. We arrived after the Daytona 500 and the bottom dropped out as soon as we hit the parking lot! We were seated right away even though the parking lot across the street was pretty full. Jackie was our server and she was friendly and professional. We started with the Potato Bombs which were delicious. I got the "Donnie Allison" fried shrimp and he wanted the Fish & chips however he had to settle for the Barbecue Bacon Burger because they were out of it. Both were satisfying to the taste buds! The atmosphere was nice and we both enjoyed looking around at the history of the racing memorabilia. We got a couple t-shirts and a shot glass from the gift shop.

We were in town for the Daytona 500. We had a great experience visiting the museum and gift shop. The lady in the gift shop was so nice and told us the history of the restaurant! She pointed out the pictures that showed the original Daytona track on the beach. I was so grateful she did this!!! The food was amazing! Our waiter was awesome. The potato bombs were delicious! I loved my pina colada! Great patio over looking the beach. ⛱️ They had live music that was nice!! I will definitely back the next time we visit the area!!

We had an incredible experience at Racing’s North Turn! Our server, G, was fantastic, and Jake, the bartender, provided amazing service, even while managing a large table. The attentiveness was top-notch throughout our visit. The food was outstanding! We tried the crab dip as an appetizer, and it was a perfect start to our meal. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy more of what this place has to offer!

We were recommended to Racing’s North Turn by our RV resort, and it did not disappoint! The museum was fascinating, and every bite of food was absolutely delicious. The crab legs, hush puppies, and mahi mahi were all amazing! Jessica was such a wonderful waitress—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The owner couldn’t have been kinder to our family, and even the woman running the gift shop was so warm and welcoming. Being able to walk right off the back deck and dip our toes in the sand was the perfect finishing touch. Highly recommend this spot for great food, great service, and a bit of Daytona Beach history!

This is a museum and restaurant all in one. When you enter, there are photos, motorcycles and cars from early days of racing. We got the best seat in the house, looking onto the ocean. My wife was impressed with the flavor and size of her Caeser salad. The Pulled Pork sandwich was tender and flavorful. We will return when we are in town.

Brad and the team are doing a great job in making this a great & special place. They cater to the locals and the traveler. I expected good pub food. It was not "just" pub food. I had the crab cakes (great texture and taste) after the awesome quesadilla. I left with key lime pie. The serving team are high energy and adds to the overall atmosphere. Good value and awesome menu that includes top-notch seafood offerings. I will be back!!

Stopped here for brunch before heading home after a quick staycation beach getaway. Party of 8, 4 adults, 4 kids. Walked in without reservation and were seated right away. Our friend highly recommended this place and it lived up to the hype. Incredible service. Rich history. Amazing food. Beautiful beachfront views. It was a chilly, windy day so they had the wind blockers down which was perfect with space heaters on. Very comfortable and even for 50 degrees. Table had: fish Reuben, steak & egg Philly, Monte Crisco, chicken & waffles, kids Mac & kids tenders + ahi taco & shrimp appetizers. Everyone left with full happy bellies. Kids meals served in a fun paper camero car that they can take home. Our kids split the chicken and waffle meal which was perfect amount of sweet & savory and enough food for 3! Loved the history and spent lots of time looking at collection of NASCAR memorabilia. The kids enjoyed the gift shop too.

My thoughts are a two-part review. One on the museum and second on the restaurant. The museum is wonderful. There are plenty of pictures, racing relics, and displays, to not only entertain you, but to allow you to understand the true beginning of Daytona's racing. (And I'm a novice race fan) Now the restaurant portion. I was excited about the many food choices offered. I finally opted for their Monte Cristo, and my partner the fried shrimp platter. Very disappointed. The fried shrimp platter offered limp shrimp and mushy fries and coleslaw. The Monte Cristo, well I didn't receive all of it. The sandwich was impressive with its golden fried bread and stacks of ham and turkey but it was soon cold because I was waiting on the raspberry jam. I was told it was being picked up from Publix. Yup, they ran out and decided to serve it without a main ingredient. Also, the onion rings were greasy and cold. So for us, the food was a flop. Side note: The manager did stop by to see how things were but before we could answer, he was off to another table. So my advice, stop for a drink. There's a nice bar with beach view, and definitely stop for the history!

Best burger we have had in a while ... one with onion rings and one with great slaw. The ocean view is beautiful.. umbrellas and covered too. All outdoor seating- great parking across the street Menu has options for everyone. Service was perfect Music on Fridays and I will say it was loud. Not sure why restaurants think music needs to be so loud you can't have a conversation. We will return for sure!!! Very good.

This is a fun littlw museum and beach bar all in one. A couple we met our first night in Daytona told us about it and since it was on the way to the Ponce Lighthouse we decided to go after we saw the lighthouse. Very cool display of NASCAR's origin. The bar and restaurant is pretty much outside seating out back, some covered, some out in the open but under umbrellas. We ordered peel ans eat shrimp, wings and "fries." The wings and shrimp were good but the potato offering was not fries. If I had known what they were, I would not have ordered them but it is my fault because we didn't see fries on the menu and asked our server if they had fries and he said yes. If you are a fry person like me, you need to know that. Other than the fries not fries, I would absolutely recommend stopping by as it is a nice place right on the beach.

Great beachside restaurant. Live music was fantastic. Guitar and fiddle. Grouper and chicken wings were fantastic. Great service.

Came to watch a bunch of football on a rainy Sunday. I live next door in the Towers and I always try to support the locals. I decided on ordering the monte cristo sandwich. It was huge and had way too much batter. It was tasty but only where they put a little bit of jelly on this huge sandwich. I tried to order more jelly but my server was overwhelmed going from the bar and a bunch of tables. He was great I don't blame him. I probably should thank him because I ate a decent portion and not the whole thing. Their French fries are perfect! The beers were $8 a pop was high. Also an additional service charge of .98 cents. It's not much but annoyed they have an additional charge after paying for multiple $8 beers. It was modelo not a craft beer. The place is great and was very comfortable with heaters being turned on throughout. The bathroom I was lucky wasn't busy. They only have one stall for each man and woman. I will continue to come but I would not order the same sandwich.

We are here yesterday. We had mostly appetizers. Potato bombs, wings, salads, and nachos. We enjoyed them all except the pork nachos were dry and also cold. The clam chowder was excellent. The service was good. We had a problem with the ambiance as someone got sick next to us and they left the mess while we were still there. It was terrible. Unfortunate. We love this place usually, but today was really not good. The means hold have been Immediately taken care of. We had to leave our uneaten food and leave.

Nice view of ocean. Food was average, not stellar. Service was great. Would be a good place to go when it's nice out for cocktails and the view.

Went to this place with my family tonight...we loved the potato bomb, the shrimp tacos, the burger, and the chicken tenders(kids menu). Our waitress, Jessica, was very sweet and accommodating. The view was beautiful and the live music from Vange Durst was easy to sing along to. Would recommend!

Great views and location. And it is exactly what you are paying for. Food...was not good at all. Had clam chowder it was not creamy at all. Had a leaf in it. Not sure what spice that was. Over all it had a bitter taste. The shrimp taco's had plenty of small shrimps. But they kill it with too much lime. I love lemon and lime but this was not right at all. My friend had chicken and shrimp fajitas he said it was ok just fair. Nothing special. Did not worth $70.00 for lunch for 2 people. Done better at Olive Garden. For a lot less.

Our appetizer (BBQ Flatbread) was delicious, as well as my oysters Rockefeller. Nachos were so good!! Our server (Ed) was great...thank you Ed!!!

Victoria is flawless. Every year we come here for Rockville hoping to see her. 3 years in a row. Perfect!!!

Wow! What a sweet place! I found out they're under new management and when I walked in, this is really the most hospitable restaurant I've ever been into! They made you feel very welcome and the view and the food were great! Not sure where all the other negative reviews came from maybe the old management? But definitely give this one a try. It doesn't disappoint!

The location is amazing, the building is cool, the museum is fun our service was good but the food was horrible. I don't expect much for good food but we tried it for Thanksgiving Turkey. The meat was salty and fatty possibly a turkey loaf. It seems the owners don't care what kind of food they serve. They were serving beer in plastic cups which is fine for some people. We can walk to the NT from the condos it is convenient so we might end up going back some time but I will stick to basic burgers or fish sandwiches.

Food was amazing and Jen and Chris were awesome at the bar. Fast, friendly and delicious.

When you come in there is a little museum of Daytona beach racing history that was why I came there (besides getting getting something to eat). I ordered a Parmesan Shrimp Pasta dish that was simple but good with lots of jumbo shrimp, their menu offers many options. I sat on their deck overlooking the ocean and very much enjoyed the bite and sounds of the surf. I happened to be there on a Saturday evening and there was live music that was not bad. Overall it was pretty good and I will go back again next time I am in town.

Food was ok. Raw stuff is solid. View amazing. Service was so bad. Got to a point where we got up from our table to get water and drinks that would arrive before our table ordered drinks. Asked so many times to others to ask our waitress to take our order. After we did order we watched 3 tables who came in after us, got fed and paid before we got dinner. Finally went to bar to ask for food. Dane saved the day gave us our order 10 min after we inquired and got us drinks we requested on the spot. 3 hr dinner. Last to leave restaurant. Think it's a hit or miss place. So if you go hope it's a hit.

Arrived on a Friday night, easy parking. One seated on the outdoor deck, the view was good. Not the best of beaches, but it was OK. I was in town to visit with a friend, and she recommended this place. Ordered some chicken wings with a garlic teriyaki type sauce sauce. They were good, not great. My dinner choice was a grouper special for $36. I'm not even sure this was grouper. It didn't look like it, it didn't taste like it. Very disappointing. The draft beer was cold. Service was great, All in all, this would not be a place I'd be returning to. Drinks when appetizer two dinners, I think it came out to about $130. That included the tip. Pricey and overrated

I love everything about this place. Is it kinda touristy and kind of expensive? Yes. But you're at the beach and there's usually live music. I never need to ask for refills on our drinks here, and the appetizers come out quickly. There's a set of stairs that leads to the beach from their deck, so the kids would never know if there's a wait for the food because they are busy enjoying the ocean. My go-to has historically been the Mad Marion, but it's not a sandwich that I love enough to pay $28. The fried green tomato BLT is great. The kids meals come in little cardboard cars, which the kids love.

Food has gone down hill. Overpriced frozen seafood. Service is great now bc the customer base is so low. So sad to see such a great location serve low quality food. Bring back fresh!

So this was my first time back since they reopened due to the horrible damage the last two hurricanes did to Daytona/ponce inlet. The inside looks so much different but in a good way. When you first walk into the lobby it's looks almost the same except there are doors now that were added between the dining room and lobby. When you walk into the lobby they added these HUGE windows that look out to the beach and there was a live band in front of the big windows. The whole restaurant is open and over looks the beach and you can even walk down from where you're sitting. The food was good drinks were good and the service. I ordered some fried green tomatoes and they were so delicious . Overall glad they're back open. I really do enjoy dining here

The good...being on the beach they have a great view with access to the beach. Waitress was very attentive, we needed nothing. Live music was nice. Easy in and out parking. Prices are on par with other similar restaurants. Tables were clean and what one might expect at an outdoor beach restaurant. The bad...the food. The biggest and most important reason for eating out. We have been going for many years and in my opinion the food has been on a steady decline. For the price the food should be much better. Portions are on par or a bit on the smaller side but not bad. They have also slowly been discontinuing items which I understand but they seem to be the ones I like. If they have something you may like it's worth a go to check out but for us it is no longer a go to or something in our rotation.

The view was fantastic. Our server Jessica was very good above. Most food was good atmosphere's wonderful. Just had a few beers and some peeling shrimp. It was good beers could've been colder and I don't like plastic glasses besides that it was good.

Location, location, location. Restaurant is NASCAR themed and sits right on the ocean. We actually watched a launch from Kennedy from our table. Food is standard pub fare. BBQ nachos were massive and pretty tasty. Cheesesteak was average but my friend liked the grouper sandwich. Big beer selection and lots of seating. Parking is located across the street.

Always a friendly and fun place. Great atmosphere, good crowd. I always order my Long Island ice tea here, plant myself in "my chair" for a snapshot and enjoyed a sunset. This time the Long Island was more of an Arnold Palmer with a splash of vodka. My daughter said the same. ;-( Wife ordered a can of spiked seltzer. Guess that's where things are going?

$80 for a dry mahi mahi sandwich w/ absolutely zero flavor on a soggy bun, chicken & shrimp fajitas no flavor w/ 3 6" flour tortillas & a dab of guacamole that was decent to be fair, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese & dry pico & no plate to eat it on. Drinks- beer fine & watered down pina colada that I didn't even get offered which souvenir glass to have it in. The guy playing live music was honestly the best part. Very talented! Will not be back. Very disappointed.

Victoria has been our server the last 2 years we have come down for Rockville. she has an amazing spirit and so much fun. the food was amazing and HUGE. I will be back again and again...!

Service was very slow, took over 10 mins to even get noticed at the bar. Drinks were honestly really light on liquor and weren't too creative. Definitely a dive bar, only perk is the beach view which had tables free. If you like old time racing memorabilia this may be for you.

Great food and Service. Bonus for the view. Games to kids to play while waiting for food. I had the best Vicky Woods Cheese Steak. Hubby had Po Boy. Kids split a burger. Daughter got the Fish Tacos. Everything was so fresh. William our server was great. So glad we stopped in.

Saturday was forecasted to be no higher than 70 degrees so we wanted to make the 75 minute trek to Racing's North Turn as I'd visited in 2015 and didn't have the time. The 70 degree ceiling was important as I own a Siberian Husky and her and her sis were coming with us. Staying outside the entrance with the dogs my girlfriend walked inside to see what the protocol was with for them, they said "come in and follow me!". We were taken to the deck which has a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean and found a seat. Our server took our drink order and returned quickly, one drink was incorrect but quickly remedied. We noticed there was a dog menu as well as the regular menu. The dogs had 7 items to choose from, they were too excited to choose so we did for them (how smart is that? They make a bit of extra sales on feeding the dogs food that is so special they are spoiled quickly). Soon after we placed all the orders a water bowl came for the girls as we continued to enjoy the weather and conversation. In time, and a few minutes enough to enjoy some folks wanting to pet the dogs (all the kids were polite enough to ask, and the dogs loved the attention) our food came and the dog dishes soon followed. They wiped out the unseasoned chicken, rice and carrot dinner in quick order......basically they loved it. Our food was very enjoyable, well cooked and quite flavorful. Who knew a Grouper Reuben was a thing? The RNT team was very polite in walking by us as the dogs seemed to love to lay in the pathways. The good, the bad and the ugly. Good Wonderful setting on the deck overlooking the ocean Friendly and accomodating staff The food was well cooked and enjoyable Their enjoyment and acceptance of the dogs was overwhelming The space between tables and others was very comfortable Upon making an easy mistake the waitress quickly returned with the proper drink.....definitely not a game changer, we're all human Upon leaving one of the kitchen staff asked if the dogs could have a slice of meat......they were told they will have a friend forever Bad The beer list could be longer, especially 3 or 4 high level craft beers On me, I didn't spend enough time in the racing museum....the museum is quite interesting to day the least. I needed another half hour. No dogs on the beach, not RNTs fault. We would have liked to have a post lunch walk on the historic spot Ugly Just me, I looked in the mirror. Just me. Oh.....and I forgot to take photos as it was going all so well. My bad. Just to note.......our dogs are very well behaved, with the exception of laying down where the waiters walked, but they caught on and walked over an aisle in time, they just took it all in. If you have a well behaved dog this place is owner-doggie heaven. They eat, you eat. Everyone is happy.

Excellent lunch on first time visit Grouper Reuben was terrific would order again My wife's lobster grilled cheese was just as good! Friend got the soft shell crab sandwich Said was dry recommends more aole sauce which made better Wife loved the home made fries I though union rings a little to breaded for me Friends who couldn't eat shellfish ordered bbq dinner and it was rather average wouldn't recommend that Will definately be back !

Victoria was amazing! she made our hang out time so fun. Food was delicious, service was fantastic, and Victoria was hilarious. can't wait to come back!

The gals were busy, I was a single person and was overlooked for a bit. However, once the staff realized my wait time, they made it up to me. I highly recommend them specifically because they want every customer happy and fed with good food. BTW, I got the grilled cheese lobster sandwich. Yummy!! Who would have thought? Great food after a long day of pickleball.

There is a lot of Nostalgia with this location if you're a racing fan! Average food, on the beach is nice!

Service is always amazing- the music and the view just can't be beat. Love this place rather it be to sit down and eat or hang out on the beach for some drinks and live music.
