Absolutely delicious! We had such a fun experience trying fondue at this quaint little spot in Zurich. The atmosphere is so enjoyable, and the waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. There was a bit of a wait to be seated but totally worth it! We highly recommend!

Google
We came here with family and wanted to try fondue and raclette as tourists. The staff was so helpful as she knew that this was the first time we eat this. My parents were not the big fan of cheese, however, we did finish everything because of the good advice from the staff.

Google
absolutely amazing place!! the atmosphere is lovely and it's so cozy. we were a group of 10 and we order fondue- one with alcohol and other without- both were delicious. was a first experience for some and everyone loved it. also the staff is lovely and the service is fast was not that expensive and completely worth it! i will definitely return

Google
The restaurant is quite small so it's advised to make a reservation, and although very cozy, the cleanliness could have been better when I visited. The fondue was good but a bit liquidy and there weren't a lot of options for accompanying dishes. The staff was very nice and smiley, and the service was fast. Price is as high as everywhere else in the city, maybe a bit much for quantity and quality of the food.

Google
Delicious fondue! Came with a friend and we got one of each of the fondue types. They were both incredible. We also got pickled onions and gherkins. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and took a couple of great pictures of us.

Google
Raclette Stube is a cozy spot with an authentic, family-like atmosphere. 🧀 Their Schweizer Käsefondue is a must-try, rich, creamy, and perfect for cheese lovers. 🍽️ The warm vibe and delicious fondue make it a fantastic place for a comforting Swiss meal. Highly recommend! 😊

Google
Raclette Stube was recommended to us by some colleagues who live in Zurich. We knew it was touristy to find Fondue in the middle of summer but when that’s the only time you’re in Switzerland you have to try it! This restaurant had the cutest little feel to it like an old German house. It was very very hot inside which was literally our only complaint. With all the hot cheese bubbling around you that surely doesn’t help you get cool. But, despite the heat, the fondue itself was amazing. Exactly what we wanted and hoped it would be. The bread and potatoes that accompanied it were plentiful. There were 4 of us and we made a really good dent in the fondue but we were no where near finishing it. We really enjoyed the experience at this little fondue centric eatery.

Google
Our group got the all you can eat fondue and raclette. It’s a restaurant policy that the whole table has to get all you can eat if they’re sharing. The cheese was amazing. We enjoyed the fondue cheese more than the raclette. Was an amazing experience overall. The waitresses checked on us multiple times ( always with a smile and a friendly attitude) and they speak many languages. The fondue comes with potatoes and bread and some pickled vegetables. The wine recommendations did not disappoint as well. Very nice experience.

Yelp
Raclette Stube is such a charming little spot! The intimate setting is cozy and tight, so don't be surprised if you're dining right next to your neighbors. We came without a reservation and were lucky enough to be seated right away. We kept it simple and ordered nothing but fondue, and honestly, it was perfect. The cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious--exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was great--helpful when we had questions but also gave us space to relax and enjoy the experience. If you're in the mood for incredible fondue and a cozy, low-key vibe, Raclette Stube is definitely worth a visit. Just be ready to get up close and personal with the ambiance.

Yelp
My mother and I arrived into Zurich very late last night. After being denied from another restaurant, my mother saw she saved this place. They sat us right away, served us SO quickly and we were out just as quickly as we came in! The fondue was so good. The place was quant and the warm. Everyone was so sweet, even the customers. It felt like we were the only Americans in the joint! Thanks so much for having us. The experience will be memorable

Yelp
Delicious food in a warm and welcoming ambiance. This is one of the best restaurants in Zurich for a reason. The prices are ok - not great, but everything else makes up for it. Expect to spend a lot on wine, though. The decor is pleasant, though the "church pew" is hard! Enjoy a romantic and filling dinner and cozy lighting - definitely an experience!

Yelp
So I went with pretty low expectations because their reviews were not that great compared to the few others in the area. However we settled for this one because they did have a spot open and the rest Fondue places had a long wait or needed reservations. We went in and the place is a midsize restaurant, the tables very close to one another and you instantly smell the cheese. The smell is so strong and pungent some people may not like it. But myself being a cheese lover I was in heaven. So I wanted to get the cheese fondue with the pickles on the side - pretty much what tis known for. The food came out in timely manner. And I kid you not this Hass to be one of the best meals ever ever ever. Till date I dream of the amazing cheese used in the fondue with the amazing pieces of baguette and for sides I had ordered peppers And pickles. The service was outstanding even though the servers are not very fluent in English they try very hard to communicate and help us visiting tourists have a good time. Our server was so amazing that she even suggested us some local places and even googled them for us. As far as the pricing goes nothing is cheap in Switzerland I mean nothing. Even if you go to McDonald's it's pricey. But overall I think the pricing was fair and you can check for the menu prices on the website. I also use the bathroom which was very clean and located in the basement. When in Switzerland do not mess to have an amazing fondue any trip here would be in complete this experience.

Victoria R.

Yelp
It was extremely hot in there. There is no air-conditioning. The food was not very good. The service was friendly.

Yelp
I don't even want to write this review because I selfishly want to keep this gem to myself. But I can't do that to you - you're looking for the best fondue and experience, and this is it! The restaurant is cozy and intimate, the service staff are speedy and helpful, and the fondue we had is just SO SO YUMMY... it came with soft bread and small potatoes, and I may be ruined for regular potatoes and cheeses now forever. We had a special occasion in our group, and the staff celebrated right along with us and made us feel so at home and downright loved... so if the question is between Do and Don't... definitely FonDUE!

Yelp
Definitely make a reservation when coming here. We were in Zurich on a weekend in the winter, Friday night, and there is no chance we would have gotten in if we hadn't booked a table. As it stands, we came a little earlier than our reservation hoping to be seated and there was no space. My partner was a little hangry due to this, but the frustration quickly wore off. When our table was ready we were ushered to a cozy table in the corner. Space is tight in the dining room, but I didn't feel like I was on top of other patrons. We each went for a glass of wine and a pot of fondue. The menu was limited, but everything is top tier. We got one of each of the fondues - the one with tomatoes, and one with kirch (cherry liquor). We didn't have to wait long for our food, as piping hot pots were quickly delivered to our table. The fondue comes with boiled potatoes and bread, and for an additional fee you can add other options like gherkins and onions. The cheese was absolutely indulgent. Everything you hope and expect eating fondue in Switzerland in the winter will be. Every bite was warm and delicious. Absolutely come here if you're in Zurich - I'll certainly be back if we ever return to the city!

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I got the standard half and half fondue - it was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was lovely especially on a rainy day and the staff were attentive and friendly. The only thing I would change is the price but this is Zurich after all.

Marc M.

Yelp
Drop in and was very pleased. Food was great service was efficient and very friendly. Had the cheese fondue with wine plus the sausage plate plus a bottle of wine and couldn't have asked for anything better.

Dave P.

Yelp
We had tomato fondue and it was everything you'd expect it to be. The green salad dressing was delicious and enough for us to share. Our waitress was exceptional. She took time with us to explain the dishes and she steered us to an excellent local wine. If you find yourself in Zurich craving a "local" experience. We highly recommend this establishment.

Miriam C.

Yelp
Fondue cheese was too salty Got both chests that were recommended. Seating was great. Made my a reservation before.

David M.

Yelp
After failing to get a reservation at the first location we tried for (who were disgustingly rude over the phone), we found this spot at the last second and behold! There was an open table for us! The Swiss fondue Gods were watching out for us . I don't remember the name of the fondue I ordered but it had a lot of tomatoes in it and my God did it go well with the cheese! I ordered a platter of their swiss meat cuts (forgot the name) and they were pretty good, salty but good. The fondue comes with two big baskets of bread bits and small baked potatoes. Personally, I liked the fondue better with the potatoes. The service was fantastic here, our waitress was very informative and gave us some recommendations which was what we decided to go for and it ended up us having a very enjoyable time here. Everyone, I highly recommend y'all to come here for the food and service. It's A1

Bob K.

Yelp
Extremely friendly and helpful staff serving ample proportions. Cozy interior. Fondue excellent

Alma Z.

Yelp
Well... we came in and owner asked if we have a reservation. We didn't. He made a very disappointed face, although it was pretty empty. Set us... and no one ever came to check on us, or bring menu. Other people came, they got service right away. Felt like we were not welcome there. Maybe they don't like Americans? Anyway- we left after waiting for 20 minutes. Found much better.

In_jail_out_soon B.

Yelp
I think this is an ok restaurant. This was my first time having fondue and it was good, a bit on the salty side, but still good. It comes with potatoes and bread. I had a glass of marlot that was pretty average. Service was ok, nothing special and the price... well, we are in Zurich. Check it out, give it a try.

TravelHappy I.

Yelp
Okay, so the reason for the low rating is the guy serving was not friendly and came off rude. Yes, they were busy, and yes, it was just me, who they put me in a tight, tiny table in the back in the way of the servers. I could not feel anymore uncomfortable. The fondue was good. I had the half and half which is half gruyere and half vacherin cheese with white wine and kirsch. It was served with a basket of baby potatoes and bread cubes. I had questions about the menu but the server he was too hurried to spend any time so I just went with what I ordered. It was much more expensive than the Raclette Factory as I had just as much food and wine. Maybe you will have a better experience but as my 2nd day in Zurich and my 2nd poor service experience I can only hope it goes up from here. Mind you, I have traveled a lot and have dined at hundreds of restaurants so I am not a snippy tourist.

Arjun V.

Yelp
This was one of the most highly recommended places, so my friend and I just HAD to try it. And I must say: they didn't disappoint. We couldn't decide whether to order to fondue or raclette (we wanted to try both), so our waiter was kind enough to suggest that we get one of each and then share, which is exactly what we did. The fondue is limited, but you can get unlimited bread and potatoes (I doubt you'd need them, though - it's really quite filling!), while the raclette is free flow. The meal was extremely filling. We'd only got through three portions of the raclette (each) by the time we decided to call it quits. Just note that the prices are quite steep! The bill for these two dishes, alongside two glasses of prosecco, came up to almost CHF 90. But in the broader scheme of things, we think it was pretty worth it for the experience we got. Shoutout to our waiter Nora as well. She was really kind and helpful, and wished everyone a Merry Christmas on their way out. It really brightened the atmosphere in the restaurant!

Kim K.

Yelp
Couldn't leave Switzerland without trying fondue and we were not disappointed! We came in around 4pm without reservations and seated immediately. We ordered the half gruyere/ half vacherin (very tasty) and were full all night. Our server was very nice and fast!

Olivia C.

Yelp
Lovely service, budget prices for fondue in Zurich, and fondue that will be worth the binge. We didn't have a reservation but perfect timing and accommodating waitresses really saved a birthday dinner. Price: it costs 28.80/person for the fondue with wine option and the same for the fondue without wine option. We were debating between this and the all you can eat fondue for 39chf/person. But the regular option proved to be MORE than enough when you're only dipping potatoes and bread (carbs galore). Food: there were 7 of us so we got a larger pot that was at least 4-5x larger than the small ones couples usually share. We barely finished it, and we were hauling ass. It's unlimited refills for the potatoes and bread. Refills came relatively fast for a full restaurant on a Saturday night and only 2 waitresses. The potatoes are perfectly boiled where it's not too soft that it falls apart in the fondue. The bread isn't anything special. The fondue with wine is definitely stronger - the lightweights of the group felt flushed 25% into the pot! Definitely would come back again.

Alireza J.

Yelp
That was great Fondue we had. Perfect and manically place with fantastic decorations. I suggested to order white dry wine with your fondue. The only bad experience is when we want to order 2 fondue for 3 person, our staff didn't accept and she said you must order 3 fondue!!! Although I highly recommended this great restaurant for cheese and swiss local foods.

Nick N.

Yelp
Food: 2/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Decor & Style: 2/5 The fondue was too bitter (I think it had too much wine in the fondue mix) and the bread was plain (something you can get from walmart for 20 cents). The pickles were good, but nothing extraordinary. This place was way too expensive for the taste. Place was small, a little slow on the service, and smelled a little bit like wet mop. I only came here because Andrew Zimmern advertised for it. In fact, it seemed like only tourists came in and ate here. When you're traveling you only want to eat at places where locals eat!

Sam O.

Yelp
1st visit: We found it closed at 9.30pm on a Saturday night while it is usually closing at 11pm. Standing in front of the restaurant door, we called them up to check and they did answer the phone... from the other side of the door. They closed up early cause no clients showed up that day. (note that they open at 6pm)

Rebecca S.

Yelp
If you're a budget traveler like me this is the place to experience Swiss fondue without leaving broke and sad. Call ahead for the reservation to avoid a line. Service was excellent- fast and friendly. For $30 I got wine and a full fondue spread. I may be lactose intolerant but my stomach didn't even hurt that much afterwards! Worth the lactaid

Adam B.

Yelp
Maybe it's an American thing, but when I visit Switzerland I'm really not in the mood for kebabs, Mongolian BBQ, sushi, Thai, pizza or British pub food. And though I love the advice of locals, I'm also not feeling the need to follow a recommendation 20-30 minutes into a random residential area with not much else of note besides a local co-worker's favorite place. So Raclette Stube fit the bill, seeming the least touristy of the cheese options in Kreis 1. Raclette: On my first visit, I had to get the namesake. I was kindly given a quick tour of the magic happening after I tried to not-so-slyly peer into the kitchen. No idyllic fireplace melting the cheese, but rather huge broilers the same length as the diameter of the raclette wheel. This produces a cheese scrapping that can have a layer of burnt goodness on top, but soft gooeyness underneath. Way better than those home machines with shallow pans that causes the whole cheese portion to crisp solid when you try for a slight sear. The accouterments were simple: boiled fingerling potatoes, pickled pearl onions, pickled gherkins and pickled baby corn. The key to consuming a lot of raclette is only to add a few crumbs of those accouterments for flavor while reserving most of your stomach space for the cheese in each round. Fondue: After a week of corporate meetings and corporate dinners, I decided to treat myself to a second visit. This time I had the half-and-half fondue of Gruyère and Vacherin with some Kirsch blended in. Once again minimalist accouterments: bread cubes and boiled fingerling potatoes. I figured that it was a good thing that they focused their attention on the fondue rather than an elaborate dipping selection. So creamy. So cheesy. So delish. I really enjoyed the purity compared to all those finagled spice and non-Swiss cheese blends you get in the States.

Anna G.

Yelp
We had a nice dining experience here the other night. We ordered the half and half fondue which came with bread and potatoes. The cheese was very flavorful, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. I am not (yet) am expert on fondue, but it seemed to me to be a good quality one. I personally would have liked more options with the fondue, but I understand that that's not the traditional way. The service was very prompt, welcoming, and spoke at least 3 languages. Of course, as can be expected in Zurich, the meal was expensive.

Herest B.

Yelp
Fondue or raclette, you can't go wrong on either one. Totally yum, whether your a cheese lover or not! Tip: Don't forget to savor the burnt part of the raclette or scrape the burnt bottom of the fondue.

Alex D.

Yelp
Fondue is not worth $30 per person. Portions are small for the amount paid. Walked in to a half empty restaurant and they told us we could sit but only until 8:30 (it was 7:30). Service is terrible, Both waiters working took multiple smoke breaks at the same time so here was no one in the restaurant to help us. They paid little to no attention to my table because we were college aged and not adults. UPDATE: after writing this review while still being in the restaurant, the waiter came up to our table and verbally attacked my two friends and I in front of the entire restaurant for writing our honest opinion.

Annie L.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Wednesday night without a reservation. The kind host was able to seat us with a 1-hour wait. We ordered the Half and Half for three people to share (~26CHF per person). Fondue was good. It came with a massive basket of bread and baby potatoes. We weren't quite sure what to expect - it was fun at first, but too much fondue for three people. And without meat or different sides, it gets a little monotonous. Maybe we did it wrong as tourists, but next time would prefer a much smaller serving as an appetizer followed by an [meatier] entree to complement. Would I recommend it? If it's your first fondue in Switzerland, then yes.

Kim N.

Yelp
My gosh, I'm not sure about raclette but it's not really tasty. I did want to try it out because it's a food that is eaten and loved. The raclette has a lot of history how this became such a popular food staple. I like cheese but this was way different. I wasn't a fan of it. It's a small place the atmosphere was ok. I can't really compare raclette because after this adventure I didn't want to eat anymore of it.

Craige M.

Yelp
So, they don't cook the raclette in a fire. What do you care? It still tastes frickin' awesome and you would never know the difference, I assure you. You come in to Raclette Stube and you order one thing: raclette. Well, you can get fondue, too, if you want, but honestly, don't you think you should go to Fondue Stube for that? It's all you can eat, so arrive hungry because it's not cheap. With your raclette comes little potatoes, cornichons (little pickles), cocktail onions, and bread. I'm not a huge fan of cornichons or cocktail onions on their own usually, but man oh man, those Swiss have determined the perfect taste combination here. Try a little bit of potato, onion, or pickle with a bite of cheese and you will be amazed at how well the flavors marry. There is a decent wine list and the wait staff is happy to offer suggestions. If they offer dessert, I don't know why. Who has room for dessert after eating all that cheese?? (We learned a trick after seeing a local couple at the next table drinking hot, black tea as well as wine with their fondue. I googled it later and found out that it keeps the cheese from solidifying into a hard ball in your belly. Next time I will certainly have to try that.)

Evgeny D.

Yelp
You have to make a reservation. If you don't you run the risk to be served in 20 minutes just like me. But the raclette in this place is worth it! And service is outstanding. I almost felt home. Enjoy!

Andrew R.

Yelp
On a quest to eat fondue in Switzerland, went here after walking across town to a sister restaurant "Fribourger Fonduestübli" only to find out that place closes for the summer (thank you Yelp for indicating it was "Open" based on the posted hours. Call first to confirm). This place was a terrific alternative open year 'round. Polite service, charming old world atmosphere and super fondue. We went for the milder vacherin-only and it was great.

F. P.

Yelp
Since I was in Switzerland, I was eager to try the local cuisine, namely fondue (which I'm not really into and rarely ever have back in the states). BUT had to try it here ... so went to Raclette Stube. The first thing that hits you as you enter the charming-looking restaurant is the strong, overpowering smell of cheese. Not the most pleasant thing. In my opinion, fondue is probably the biggest ripoff. Really expensive ($25-30pp) just for melted cheese, so-so bread and unspectacular fingerling potatoes. The cheese (mix of Gruyere and Vacherin) was creamy and quite good but you're kind of done after 4-5 bites. Initially, I was interested in the raclette but that's even pricier for scraped cheese (and worse, they scrape it onto a plate back in the kitchen instead of tableside so you don't really get the experience). Really liked the side of cornichons - but when that's the highlight, what does that tell you about the overall dinner experience? Roughly $80 for 2ppl. Ouch.

Alex A.

Yelp
Very poor Customer service. They are rude to Americans, and don't seem to want to serve you or have you as guest. I suggest going to another near bar place that is much better.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
This place was fine. For the price, I wouldn't go again. I think it was good to experience Swiss cuisine and fondue, but I don't think I would tell others they had to have it. The food was good, but didn't feel like a meal. This would be a good (and expensive) appetizer.

Kym C.

Yelp
6 of us went without a reservation - oh...we silly Americans - but they kindly accommodated us. Which was greatly appreciated as my inlaws were celebrating their 50th Anniversary. We came for the Fondue - as a recommendation from the hotel staff. It was delicious! Great service, Delicious food - the fondue was served with potatoes and bread. It was so rich and wonderful. I've had fondue in the States, but this far surpassed it in taste and richness. We had the Fondue Friborgeoise prepared ( 1/2 Gruyere and 1/2 Vacherin, with wine and kirsch). Not cheap, but well worth the price, based on service, food and atmosphere. If you have a chance....go!

Marilyn T.

Yelp
Fondue on a warm day probably wasn't the best idea, but after a long flight I really wanted carbs and melted cheese. Unfortunately, they didn't have outdoor seating, but they did have a giant open window in front. Still, it was pretty warm inside. The basic fondue was CHF 27.90 per person, and it came with a big basket of bread and a smaller cute container of potatoes. We went with the half and half: vacherin and gruyere. I love stinky cheeses, so the vacherin was a great choice. The melted cheese had a sweet wine flavor, which I liked. While the bread was fine, the potatoes were much better in the cheese. The potatoes added a sort of sweetness to cut the saltiness of the fondue. We also added on an order of pickled onions and cornichons on the side. Carafes of wine are not that expensive, but I'm not a huge fan of Swiss wines; we went with a lighter red that was a Pinot blend. In the end, we were full, and I felt pretty unhealthy. I love my cheese and carbs, but I could have used some more options for protein (aside from the pricey ham / air dried beef) or vegetables (besides the pickles and green salad on the menu). I'm glad I got my Swiss fondue experience, but who knew some bread, cheese, and potatoes could cost so much?

Gena B.

Yelp
Awesome find, thanks Yelp! This place was parallel to the Main Street, so it took us a bit of time to find - once we asked a nearby restaurant, we found it right away. This place is in the old part of town and has a ton of charm. You will need reservations, as it's pretty small. They don't serve the Raclette at your table, so if you'd like to watch your melty cheese get cut, you can request to go in the kitchen. We ordered one serving of fondue and one order of the (all-you-can-eat) Raclette. It comes with bread, pickles, onions, and baby corn. There is enough served to fill you up (we were 2 people). I recommend a bottle of white wine as well. We loved our meal (definitely a splurge calorie-wise) and the total bill came out to $115 CHF.

Victoria K.

Yelp
Fondue was decent.... Thanks to the fellow Yelpers, we had made a reservation and were seated fairly quickly.... I think I paid for the Swiss experience rather than for a satisfying meal. Would I come back again?..... Hmmm.... Maybe..... The restaurant itself was cute and cozy....But as far as raclette is concerned, I will stick with those street vendors.... I think they make as good raclette for a fraction of the price as this restaurant. By the way, ....totally unrelated to the quality of their food or service, but it gets really hot in there. I was there around Christmas but it got so hot and stuffy inside that I had to walk outside several times for fresh air.

Shirley M.

Yelp
Great Swiss experience! Enjoyed both the raclette and fondue. If I had to make a choice, would go for the fondue. Beautiful house prosecco!!!!

Cate C.

Yelp
Amazing fondue, great service! We went last night for dinner and it didn't disappoint. For 2 people the fondue was CHF30 each, plus a CHF5 supplement for pickles to accompany (normally comes with potatoes and bread). We had a starter of sliced sausage which was really tasty but we probably didn't need (as we were about to have so much cheese!!), but it was nice nonetheless. The lime sorbet to finish was also great but probably unnecessary for us as we were so full!! For two it came to CHF122, which included a carafe of wine, starter plate of sausage, amazing fondue with pickles and two lime sorbets to finish.

Jason G.

Yelp
Got a legitimate fondue experience here. The menu is quite simple, and pretty much everything on it leads to them bring out a pot of melted cheese and stuff to dip. Like potatoes, bread, pickles, onions. It's definitely tasty, ad you will eat more than you think you can. For an appetizer, we got assorted cold cuts of meat. This was good. The dessert was actually surprisingly excellent. Cream, chocolate mousse, wafers, yum. My mealmate actually got chestnut ice cream with amaretto... wow. If you are in Zurich, check it out!

Neel T.

Yelp
Excellent service here. The staff speaks English fluently and are extremely kind. The desserts are as marvellous as the fondue and other foods.

Rita W.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to have traditional raclette where they bring a raclette grill to your table and you cook the raclette yourself, do NOT come here. We came here with the intention of getting both fondue and raclette. We found out that one order of raclette was just one piece of cheese so the only option was to do the all you can eat raclette option as this restaurant requires each person to order an entree. There were five of us so since we wanted both fondue and raclette, we ordered three orders of fondue and two orders of all you can eat raclette. We were so disappointed when the waiter brought out to us a piece of melted cheese on a plate. That was our raclette. Although the cheese was still good, it had a nice crispy edge to it, it just isn't quite the experience we were waiting for, and plus for some reason, when you just get a piece of melted cheese on your plate, you don't really feel as much of a need to eat more than two pieces. And if you pay 40 CHF for all you can eat raclette, you feel like you are losing out money on the deal. So if you come here, I would recommend just sticking to the fondue. Prices seem a little more expensive here than I have seen at other places but I think that was really the cost of the all you can eat Raclette that was the main factor of our high bill! It is just disappointing to see how Raclette is done here when the name of this place is called Raclette Stube.

Yelp
I'm from Zurich and I went this evening to the Raclette Stube with 2 guests from London. They served Raclette cheese already melt on the dish coming from kitchen, which unfortunately wasn't warm anymore. Few patatoes, onions, cornichons for about 40 Fr. for person - A thievery !!! Insane expensive, very pooor quality!! I strongly recommend to go somewhere else!

Yelp
As soon as you walk into the place you will be hit with the smell of cheese fondue, which is good if you like cheese and probably bad if you don't. Service was very good but slow towards the end, may be because they don't want to bother you during you meal. Raclette and fondue were both so delicious we couldn't stop eating. Raclette is all you can eat and a pretty good deal. If the waiter doesn't come around, you need to keep asking for more raclette cheese. They serve pickles, onions, and corn with their raclette and the pickles are very good. The place does fill up so it is better to make a reservation in advance. However, the location is in Niederdorf and as soon as you walk out of the restaurant at night you will see prostitutes walking the street.

Yelp
This restaurant only serves only cheese fondue and raclette. This does in no way make this restaurant cheesy Nice atmosphere, nice interior (rustic of course) and very good fondue. The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant 5 stars is the service. And the fondue is also only 4 star. Le Delazy a few hundred meters away deliver just that little bit more

Yelp
We spent one college year in Leysin, in the Swiss Alps. One of our fondest memories was enjoying the raclette in a quaint mountain restaurant called Prafandaz. Since then, raclette has been very difficult to find, but there have been occasions when we have stumbled upon this dish throughout the years. Unfortunately, it has never been the real deal we had in Lesyin. Until now. The Raclette Stube was fantastic. They did not veer from raclette and fondue by offering a wide fare. They just served the real deal. They did not serve 180 grams of raclette with a ceramic dish and a toaster oven. They instead correctly broiled the half wheel and scraped off generous portions. The accouterments were correct with a small wicker basket of spuds and a plate of pickles, cocktail onions and pickled baby corn. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were quick to bring the next helping without a fuss. If you like cheese, this place is a must.
