RACV Hobart Hotel

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and it was spacious. It had everything we needed and wanted from an apartment. It came with a washer/ dryer as well. A good view and parking for a price but heaps of parking. My favourite was the foyer for afternoon beves with the friends. A beautiful place to stay and I would definitely stay there again! Don’t change a thing 😊

The RACV Hobart Hotel was a wonderful introduction to the city. It is centrally located with an easy walk to cafes, restaurants, shops and a Woolworths. It is a little further to the harbour but a very pleasant walk (no more than 10mins!). The reception was friendly and when our TV was running slow, maintenance came very quickly with a smile to reboot it. On returning from a 4 day hike, we were rewarded with an upgrade! The downstairs bar was quiet and cozy with a very tempting menu which came quickly. All in all, I would highly recommend the RACV Hobart Hotel and would stay again in the well appointed and spacious rooms.

Our 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and close to all shops, Salamanca Market & the Wharf. An easy and great place to stay and dine.

The RACV Club Hobart is in a great location and beautifully appointed. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with all basic amenities. Whilst check in was smooth, the standard of service by staff in the foyer bar was abysmal. We ordered 3 expressos and one hot chocolate to enjoy by the fire. 30 minutes later we got one cup of coffee (with 3 shots of coffee) and the hot chocolate - in paper cups. When I took the coffee back to explain we need three separate coffees I was told "well you should be clearer when you order" When I asked if it was possible to get proper cups the waiter said "I ll give you the empty cups - you can pour them yourself" Great facility - let down by lacklustre, rude staff who would obviously prefer to be somewhere else .... I can only hope they get their wish Update - got a call from management of the RACV Hobart to apologise for the poor service - doesn’t alter my experience but might make a difference to the next person

My husband and I just returned from an anniversary weekend in Hobart and we really enjoyed our stay at RACV Hobart. Fortunately, we were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment with sweeping views of Mount Wellington. The room itself was clean, spacious and relaxing. The hotel was really special, with a good mix between old and new (which I guess is a reflection of Hobart itself). In particular, the lobby with the fireplace provides a lovely place to unwind after some exploring. Each interaction with staff during our stay was positive. Parking was easy and the location of the hotel was perfect with Salamanca, the wharf and other central locations only a short walk away. For the price you pay, I think it is great value for money and we would definitely stay here again!

We booked this package through Jetstar Holiday packages. Reasons for choosing RACV was the location and included Breakfast and parking. We arrived very early and were able to leave our luggage with Reception, When we finally checked in at 2.30 and got off at the 7th floor we soon realised that our Room had Harbor views. Room was very spacious and clean, Bed huge and bathroom reasonably big. This i think was the first time we were actually very impressed with the Room. Now as the Buffet Breakfast was included we were excited to see what was on offer, good selection of hot and cold choices only complaints will be the Hash Browns were very average at best, very dry and hard, that needs to be addressed with management. That aside Breakfast was with coffee options available and eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Hospitality staff at cascade Bar and the Breakfast were outstanding, and the reception staff outstanding.

We stayed for three days and had lovely stay in RACV Hotel. The Skybus pick up and drop just opposite the hotel. And the pick up point for most of our tours. Hop on hop off bus also comes there to pick up. Most importantly prime location in the heart of the city. And the receptionist in hotel helped us well to plan our day for the tours nearby.

Our stay at RACV Hobart was wonderful. The rooms were spotless, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The service throughout was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the inviting communal lounge, the perfect spot to relax with a coffee during the day or a drink in the evening. Best of all, the value through our RACV membership made the experience even more rewarding. Highly recommend.
