Came here for some mutton stew and bread and we weren't disappointed. Though it is not the same as what we get in Dacres lane, this one manages to hit the right spots on a warm summer evening. Service was quick, staff was well behaved and helpful too.

Today on 22nd February 2025 I have visited this restaurant Radhu Babu, Lake Market Area for the 3rd time. Location 8A, Janak Road opposite side of Lake Mall. After watching the movie Mere Husband Ki Biwi 2025 2nd Day 1st show from 10:45am - 1:30pm for Rs. 180/- at Cinepolis, Lake Mall Located in the 5th floor. And there I ordered 1 Tea for Rs. 10/- and 1 Fish Fry (Kabiraji) for Rs. 75/- and Fish Fingers (4 Pieces) for Rs. 85/- and with 2 rupees packing charges. My total amount was Rs. 172/- which I paid it in cash. Their Fish Fry (Kabiraji) was delicious 😋 and their Fish Fingers (4 Pieces) was tasty and healthy as well. Thank you so much Radhu Babu for making my day amazing 😍.

Tucked away in a corner alley adjacent to Lake Mall is a small eatery serving some extremely tasty and light on the tummy snacks......fish fry....fish finger .....cutlet .......stew.......tea and toast The thin crust fish finger made from vetki was an absolute delight ......the owner is an extremely pleasant gentleman who explained the speciality of the different items.....even having a simple cup of tea was sheer bliss.....drop in with friends and family for some quick bites

Chai, Egg, and Toast - Breakfast of champions. This is an old-school local tea shop selling breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, and we were lucky enough to partake in the breakfast. Pictured here is the double egg omlette and toast, with a Chai chaser. To order just roll up to the guy who's seated and place and order, then hover around and you'll get your food handed to you, there a little bit of organized chaos to this, but it's part of the charm. I'd gladly go back every day, but I need to give some other food places a try while in town 😁🍳🍞

One of the most renowned and oldest roadside eateries of South Kolkata. It is situated by the Kanak Road adjacent to the Lake Mall at a 5 mins walking distance frYon the Kalighat metro. They have clearly differentiated their menu for the morning and the evening. I visited at around 7:30 pm where most of the items were exhausted. I had a milk tea and a fish chop both of which had a very average taste , there are so many better tea options compared to the same. The cop on which it is served is of very low quality as well. But, it is said that their fish fry and chicken stew are very delicious. I need to try them next time. It is often crowded in the Evening but they don't have more than one chair and table for having food. People gather in front of the stall and enjoy snacks.
