Rådhuskällaren is one of the more exclusive restaurants. We had the New Year’s Eve menu—our second New Year spent at Rådhuskällaren. The restaurant delivered on every aspect: great food, beautiful presentation of every dish, and attentive, friendly staff. It all contributed to a splendid New Year’s Eve with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had a great dinner experience here with friend. Its a buffet concept. Super nice staff who both at the booking and when we arrived were welcoming and accommodating. We ate their fillet frozen and everything was really good. A lovely pink beef tenderloin that the knife just slid through. Also the veal fillet. Pulled pork that fell into pieces as it should and chicken that looked nice. The meat was served with potato gratin, young roasted root fruits/potatoes and various choices of sauces. Red wine sauce, 2 different kinds of bernaise sauce, black pepper sauce and spice butter. There was also a well-stocked salad table with lots of different dishes, stirs and salads. + coffee was included in the price. We were all positively surprised when this really was a super dinner and at a good price. Had a lot of beef tenderloin tonight and would love to go there again. Super good and staff who were nice, observant and experienced + a cozy place = full pot!

The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. They even seated us in a beautifully isolated spot, away from the busy center, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. As for the food – simply amazing! Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented with care. The combination of top-notch service, a great atmosphere, and outstanding cuisine made this an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a place where both the food and hospitality are exceptional, I highly recommend this restaurant!

We went to the buffet on a Sunday evening and had a lovely time. Staff were very welcoming and the selection of food available was amazing, from multiple types of meat to a large salad bar.

We visited for Valentine’s Day and unfortunately left extremely disappointed. When we first arrived, everything felt so lovely and welcoming that we instantly thought this could become a place we would visit more regularly. That’s why what followed felt even more upsetting. We arrived at 20:00 and don’t speak Swedish. There was a Valentine’s special menu that included a starter, main course, and dessert. Our starter was served quickly at the table, which made us assume the main course would also be served to us. About 10 minutes after finishing the starter, the waiter came and asked if we were ready for the main course. We said yes. He said “okay” and walked away. We then sat there for 40 more minutes with nothing happening. The waiter saw us sitting there the entire time and never checked in or clarified anything. After a total of 50 minutes since receiving our starter, we finally asked when our main course would arrive. That’s when we were told that the main course was the buffet. No one had explained this to us. The Valentine’s menu was simply called “Menu,” and the main course was listed as “Filefrossa,” which we didn’t understand, even after trying to Google it. Since our starter had been served at the table, we naturally assumed the main would be plated as well, not a buffet. By the time we were told, we only had about 30 minutes left before the kitchen closed, meaning we had to rush both the buffet and dessert. We barely had time to eat a plate each before needing to order dessert before the kitchen closed. When we mentioned to the waiter that we didn’t know it was a buffet and had lost 50 minutes waiting, he just shrugged and walked away. We left feeling stressed, upset, and honestly robbed of the experience. It was a very expensive dinner for barely any food, and Valentine’s Day felt completely ruined. What made it worse was the complete lack of communication and care. A simple clarification from the staff would have changed everything. Very disappointing experience, especially for what is supposed to be a special and romantic evening.

I recently had the pleasure of lunching at this all-you-can-eat restaurant and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. But the real star of the show was the food! For 145 Swedish Kronas, you could enjoy unlimited soup, salad, main course, and dessert, along with a complimentary lemonade, beer, or coffee. The salad selection was extensive and fresh, and the mushroom cream soup was a standout. The main courses were varied and delicious, with options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked chicken and the tasty vegetarian lasagna. And let's not forget about dessert - I indulged in the most delicious pancakes with strawberry jam and whipped cream. The menu varies from day to day, so I'm excited to come back and try other desserts. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. I appreciate the fact that the menu changes regularly, so there's always something new to try. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal.

Went for the traditional julbord. Pretty good overall experience. However some dishes were not replenished on time and it got pretty noisy which made it hard to engage in conversation.

I went here for their lunch offer and it was simply great. 11€ for a basic meal (you have to choose) which is very big. I took some cod with mashed potatoes, eggs and some shrimps. The salad bar + soup are included. The water, the coffee and... the beer are included.
