I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but I just had to for the incredible Radisson Barbados. If I could give this hotel 6 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would!|Please don’t be put off by comments about the décor, yes, the interior is a little dated, but that only adds to its charm and homely feel. Our rooms were spotless, and the whole place had such a welcoming atmosphere.||The location is unbeatable, right on the beach! Every morning, you can watch horses being washed in the sea, and even take a ride or have some unforgettable photos with them. Just a short walk away is Savvy Beach Bar, which serves fantastic drinks and cocktails, and near you will find an array of local food markets that are simply amazing. You’re also very close to The Boatyard, which offers unbelievable value, for just $35 each, we got sunbeds, a few drinks or snacks, and even a turtle tour!||We found the entire trip surprisingly affordable, my friend and I spent under $100 a day between us. We didn’t go full board, choosing instead to eat out when we felt like it, and the portions and value for money everywhere were fantastic.||Finally, the staff at the Radisson truly made our stay special. Shane, Andre, and the lovely ladies at reception and in the restaurant were some of the kindest, warmest people I’ve ever met, pure sunshine in human form.||We’re not usually the type to visit the same place twice, but the Radisson Barbados completely stole our hearts. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price I stayed for one night and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The beach area was full of rocks, making it difficult to walk safely — I nearly tripped several times. Not ideal for relaxation or safety. I was given a room in the older part of the hotel. While it was clean, it was very outdated, and the light in the bathroom kept dripping (yes, dripping — extremely annoying). Even worse, the in-room safe had a low battery and began beeping around 3 AM. It continued to beep through the night. I wasn’t about to call security at 4 AM and wake up my friend, so I just had to deal with it. I barely slept. There was no complimentary breakfast, which was surprising considering I paid $300 for a sleepless night and a subpar room. Overall, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. To be fair, the manager did try to make it right by offering a coffee and tea when I checked out, which I appreciated. But honestly, this room shouldn’t have been assigned to any guest. A simple maintenance check — especially of the safe — could’ve prevented this. I left feeling like I wasted my money. I won’t be returning.

Hello and thank you. Location of the hotel is amazing. Staff at the hotel, restaurant, bar, cleaners and tour desk doing their jobs for 130%. We are very pleased with all the staff. Hotel management should get ATM machine in and treat properly the staff because they are making quite odd building good name. We are definitely recommending yours hotel to everyone 👍🏻.Please remember! The staff at your hotel making all! We are travelling around the world and Barbados and staying at your hotel staff gave us the chance to come back again at some point. Cheers Monika & Palo.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. I assumed being a Radisson that it would be on par with Radisson's I've stayed in Europe. Staff I must say were exceptionally friendly and helpful, that proved to be the only real bright point and the only reason why I have it 2 stars rather than 1. The property otherwise feels like it hasn’t had a meaningful investment since the 1980s. The carpets are worn, the furnishings tired, the bathroom decor stuck in another era, and it’s pretty obvious that no serious renovation is planned. Such a shame because the bay is absolutely gorgeous. As for breakfast, for what you pay here I’ve had better quality and a wider spread at 3-star properties. Ultimately I left feeling that the hotel is coasting purely on the location and the service goodwill of the team, rather than on genuine value or infrastructure upkeep.

The location is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Prime location on the beach, great place to lounge on the beach. However, I did not feel comfortable in my room it felt dirty. I woke up with a huge bug bite on my back. I seen a bug crawling on the bathroom counter. The toilet was hard to flush. Also, the food was disappointing.

Glad I chose this hotel for a last minute trip with my son. Perfect location, 2 minute walk to get public transport, taxi’s have been readily available when I’ve asked at reception. 7 mins walk to a lovely outdoor beachfront basketball court open all hours. No sargassum/seaweed in front of the hotel (Pebbles beach) - it’s perfect and not too crowded, plus you can walk between 5-10 minutes on the beach front to brownes beach, savvy or boatyard. All of the hotel staff are personable, kind, really helpful and give you the warm feeling you need on holiday. My son turned 17 whilst here and they surprised him with a cake, card and non alcoholic drink which really made his day (I completely forgot to get him a birthday cake so they saved me :) ) my son eats the hotel breakfast and loves it! Buffet around 65bds during busy periods and weekends, set menu during the week (low season) approx 30bds for his pancakes, bacon, beans, hot drink. The gym is good, probably the 3rd best hotel gym we’ve used on the island. Haven’t used the pool because the sea is tranquil and perfect, so swim my lengths there. There a roti place, burger and Chinese 2 mins away where you get public transport. Planning to extend for another week or two and seriously considering staying here.

Pros: The beach, the staff, the beds, the cleaning regularity and quality, the facilities are sufficient. Cons: The food - especially the breakfast menu. Not good. Rough around the edges (the maintenance of the place). The prices for food and drinks. The location (as in, the area of the island) is not great. Quite run down and not much to see or do compared to the rest of the island. Staff were either LOVELY or fairly grumpy. But still overall good.
