This was a real disappointment. The stay started off bad, with a more than 20 min wait in line to check in, and no recognition of my customer status benefits at checking. Not a good experience for a tired business traveler.
When I finally got to the room, I expected something more like the Royal in Copenhagen, as the pictures suggested that. Let’s just say it’s was not.
Plus for the bed that was ok, and the bathroom was nice, although the water pressure was weak in the morning.
The biggest disappointment though was breakfast. Normally Radisson hotels are pretty good at this, but this was bad. Cold scrambled eggs, epically chewy bacon, tasteless potatoes and greasy pancakes. If I had any other option I would have just left.
I could have said the location was great, and it sort of is, but the truth is that all hotels in Stavanger center are within 5-10 min waking from each other, so hard to give this one a plus for that.
