Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa

We stayed at this hotel with our family, including our toddler. Unfortunately, our little one suddenly became sick in the middle of the night. We immediately called the reception, and their response was absolutely amazing. Within minutes, the hotel car service was ready—just like an ambulance—and they took us to the nearest hospital.||We spent the night at the hospital, and throughout that time, the hotel staff kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything. Even the hospital transport driver came by to check on our situation. The next morning, when we returned to the hotel, we received a warm and heartfelt welcome back.||During breakfast, we mentioned that a friend who had stayed with us at the hospital wanted to join us and that we were happy to pay for their meal. But the staff kindly refused any payment and invited our friend to enjoy breakfast for free. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options.||Our experience was truly exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, care, and genuine hospitality. A big thank-you to the entire staff for their kindness and professionalism.

I had a great stay, friendly staff from housekeeping all the way to the porters. Good breakfast and lunch and very clean rooms. Azarias at reception exceeded my expectations at checkout and went out of his way to ensure my shuttle pick ups were settled. I will definitely stay there again. Good corporate space if you have meetings in Addis.

The Radisson Blu is well-located near most of the places I needed to visit for business meetings. Still, it also serves a great breakfast, has lovely rooms, is staffed with courteous and kind personnel, and is a great gathering place for folks in the evening. The night I was leaving, the transportation to the airport was timely and courteous. I arrived at Bole International Airport and discovered I had forgotten my medicine in the hotel room! I managed to get a friend to call the reception, and they sent someone to my room to look for the medicine. They then sent someone to the airport again with the medicine, and he brought it into the departure hall, where I could receive it. All this was done without much fuss and with a great deal of good-heartedness. I will never forget it! Thank you, Radisson Blu, Addis Ababa. Can't wait to visit again and again!

This has been my first time to stay at a Raddison Blu Hotel and it was a great experience. Excellent hotel. Staff all very friendly and extremely experienced and professional. Rooms immaculate. Housekeeping superb. Shuttle service excellent with highly skilled and trustworthy chauffeurs. Very good restaurant. Loved the time spent. Special thank you to Mentesnot who drove me to the shops and Abel at front line desk in providing amazing services. They upheld the impeccable reputation of a 5 star hotel with their interactions with me.

I had the most ease at a hotel this year. All staff were extremely friendly and courteous, from the gate all the way to the business lounge. You always get the, “we’re so glad you’re here” vibe with all staff. The breakfast was very good, just note that pork wasn’t served at breakfast or rather, I didn’t notice it. All in all, I felt safe and enjoyed being at the hotel.

It was a true pleasure holding a meeting at Radisson. Meeting rooms were well equipped with enough lighting and quality services. The staff were always ready to respond to our needs with smiles on their faces. |Thank you very much Dawit for the smooth communication.

I can recommend this hotel. It has high standards and even through a blackout you barely notice anything. Rooms and the entire hotel has come a bit out of age but similar to other Radisson blue locations they have high standards in terms of cleaning and service. Try to be a little it careful with hidden extra charges. Soundproof of the rooms could be slightly better, which lead to the deduction of one star for rooms.

Every time we host an event at the Radisson, we get the most professional treatment. It’s never a disappointing experience. Everything is organized and the staff are accommodating enough that we haven’t faced any problems. We hope to return back time and time again.
