Absolutely fantastic! I visited this hotel on a business trip and organized a seminar for 30 people here. The service and catering were excellent. The very spacious seminar room was perfect for the number of people. Mrs Mayer, responsible for meetings and seminars, was always approachable and took care of every wish. But in fact, every member of staff was friendly and courteous without exception, always with a smile. Everything simply worked out well. The buffet for lunch was excellent, with a great selection of salads. The catering during the seminar was also very good. Really highly recommended.

Location is convenient, and room is very nicely equipped. However, it was not perfectly clean. There was a sticky spot on the floor by the closet where something had been spilled, and the hinges and crevices of the desk were full of dust and dirt. Also, on the bed, I would have preferred the option to have a sheet or light blanket instead of only a heavy comforter, it was too hot.

A lovely hotel in the centre of the city. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the pool was surprisingly large. We had a fab weekend meeting up with extended family who were visiting from Australia. Lovely staff. Very helpful. Couldn't rate highly enough!

I had one night at this very nice hotel, centrally located in Basel. It's a fairly short walk to the center of the city, and the train station.||The lobby area is very inviting with a contemporary, stylish look. There are also kiosks to check in and out, and an express check out option, which is very nice.||The hotel also has a nice and large indoor pool, although it was not heated, and a bit cold for my taste.||My room was spacious, but offered no view at all (only of other rooms within the building itself). The bathroom was also very nice, with a good shower. ||The TV in the room was decent, but there were only a couple of English-language channels (which is fairly common for hotels in Switzerland).||Upon check in, I received a voucher for free public transport within Basel, and half-price on several local attractions. ||I didn't try the restaurant at the hotel, but it seemed nice.||Overall a good hotel for a decent rate.

I really enjoyed my stay. I found the staff really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had thoughtful design touches linked to Basel city. It was great having access to both a coffee machine and a fridge too. This is an ideal hotel if you want to explore the city as it is literally a 10 minute walk to everywhere you may want to visit in Basel. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I recently stayed at the Blue Radisson in a junior suite for one night with our one-year-old twin daughters. While the hotel has some positive aspects, our overall experience was extremely disappointing. On the positive side, the location of the hotel is excellent, as it is close to everything and just one tram stop away from the zoo. Additionally, the staff in the restaurant and at breakfast were very friendly, nice, and helpful, which we appreciated during our stay. Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by several significant issues. We were appalled by the lack of cleanliness and overall state of the room. There was a disgusting odor emanating from the bathroom pipes, and the room itself had debris like wood and paper on the floor (see photos). Several items in the room were broken, including a large hole in the floor and broken wooden panels. There were coffee stains on the wall, which were clearly not cleaned and highlighted the room's overall dirtiness. Our daughters crawled around the room, and their bodysuits ended up with brown marks that disgusted us (see photos). These were not food stains but something they picked up from the dirty floor. Additionally, there were no slippers provided in the room for the swimming pool, which was an inconvenience. This was another example of the hotel failing to meet the standard we expected from a four-star establishment. We had requested baby cots from the hotel, and they assured us they had them available. However, if I had known what they would provide, I would have brought our own. One of the baby cots was broken, with foam coming out of the frame. I found one of my babies with foam in her mouth in the morning. At the restaurant, we found the high chairs to be in need of repair, as the straps to secure the babies were broken, which made them unsafe. This was concerning as our daughter almost fell out of the chair. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings lacked any vegetable milk options, such as almond, soy, or oat milk, which is quite surprising for a four-star hotel. This limited our ability to enjoy a simple cappuccino. Overall, this is not a four-star hotel by any means. I usually do not write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to do so because we were so disappointed with our stay. We paid a four-star price and expected four-star service. What was meant to be a delightful birthday celebration turned into a very disappointing experience. We strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you are expecting a true four-star experience.
