We had a great experience at the Radisson Blu Bordeaux. Our first night was so enjoyable that we decided to return for another two nights later in the trip. The hotel is well located, with a short walk to the tram stop that takes you straight into the town centre — very convenient for exploring Bordeaux. On both stays, we were welcomed by Mattius, who was friendly, funny, and gave us an excellent briefing each time that made us feel right at home. On our second stay, we were also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a superb suite featuring a large terrace — a real highlight. Overall, both stays were comfortable and well-managed. One small note: parking is charged separately at €20 per night.

Nice, clean and calm hotel both for families and solo travelers. There are good, real restaurants and bars around which is good for families. Just behind the hotel you can take a walk and see a lot of fisherman boats. The view is wonderful from where you have your breakfast, but I have to say that I had much better breakfasts at some other hotels.

The reception staff were polite and welcoming, the view from my window was beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent. Check-in was delayed, but the hotel offered a small gift as compensation. However, the location on the google map was shown incorrectly, which made my arrival more difficult. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly. Breakfast was disappointing, with very few options, more like an Ibis Budget. The staff in the breakfast room were rude – one lady laughed at me when I asked for plain white eggs, and the result was burned and greasy. At check-out, extra services were added to my bill by mistake and removed only after I pointed it out.

Great hotel. We were in the area for a wedding out of town and we chose to stay here. |First things first. The reception staff are wonderful. |Typically as English people, we don’t speak French. All of the staff we engaged with spoke English. We are really grateful for that. Because culturally, and ashamedly, we Brits don’t tend to learn languages. The staff were attentive. Nothing was difficult. Nothing was too much to ask. They were polite and enthusiastic and this to me, is the very epicentre of a decent hotel. ||The room was spacious and suited our needs perfectly. |Tea and coffee and water available in the room. Spacious shower room and separate toilet. |The rooftop bar is beautiful and stylishly appointed with a good range of drinks. |Would definitely stay again. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the promenade outside the rear entrance of the hotel which offer good eating options. And, it’s a really nice, traffic free walk. Recommended.

We had a corner room on the forth floor which had amazing views. The room has a coffee pod machine and separate toilet and bathroom. Make sure you pick up some water bottles and they do not get replenished in the room, although there is a water machine on the floor to fill water bottles. It is in a very vibey part of town so expect club noise until about 4am. You get used to it quite quickly otherwise and the benefit is that you are close to many restaurants and tourist attractions and there is a Lidl right around the corner for other essentials. There are also tones of options to eat out right on your doorstep. The culinary institute is a must and less than 10 min walk away for amazing patisserie and coffee.

1. the hotel is located close to pub/disco areas, if you happen to be there during the weekend you will not sleep. Some rooms literally are 20 meters away from the clubs..... you will really not sleep.|2. For a 4 stars, there are certain elements you would expect - for example an access to their spa without an additional charge and opening hours until 22h not 19h. Worse they do not advertise on their website the fact you don't get access without any additional charges , neither are the opening times.|3. Same goes for the hotel parking, as a customer you would expect a free access but no they charge you 20 euros for parking your car for the night |4. Lastly, the breakfast is probably the worst I have ever had in France..... nothing was fresh, tables were dirty and not clean, same goes for the glasses, the eggs are made from the plastic bags were you add water. honestly the breakfast was really really bad . Don't pay 18 euros to get scammed, just go to the french bakery a bit further on the left and you will have a wonderful experience for 5 euros

The room is spacious and clean. We have to take the tram to go to the city centre. It’s around 5-10 mins walk to the tram station. You can’t control the air con from your room, you have to dial to the reception to change the temperature for you.

Great location and entertainment friendly hotel where ecology and sustainability met my expectations. ||Very compatible staff who are passionate to help clients at their very best. Space, amenities and great food at the restaurant bar were the highlights. ||Definitely would recommend to the traveler's.
