The reception staff were polite and welcoming, the view from my window was beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent. Check-in was delayed, but the hotel offered a small gift as compensation. However, the location on the google map was shown incorrectly, which made my arrival more difficult. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly. Breakfast was disappointing, with very few options, more like an Ibis Budget. The staff in the breakfast room were rude – one lady laughed at me when I asked for plain white eggs, and the result was burned and greasy. At check-out, extra services were added to my bill by mistake and removed only after I pointed it out.

Great hotel. We were in the area for a wedding out of town and we chose to stay here. |First things first. The reception staff are wonderful. |Typically as English people, we don’t speak French. All of the staff we engaged with spoke English. We are really grateful for that. Because culturally, and ashamedly, we Brits don’t tend to learn languages. The staff were attentive. Nothing was difficult. Nothing was too much to ask. They were polite and enthusiastic and this to me, is the very epicentre of a decent hotel. ||The room was spacious and suited our needs perfectly. |Tea and coffee and water available in the room. Spacious shower room and separate toilet. |The rooftop bar is beautiful and stylishly appointed with a good range of drinks. |Would definitely stay again. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the promenade outside the rear entrance of the hotel which offer good eating options. And, it’s a really nice, traffic free walk. Recommended.

Great location and entertainment friendly hotel where ecology and sustainability met my expectations. ||Very compatible staff who are passionate to help clients at their very best. Space, amenities and great food at the restaurant bar were the highlights. ||Definitely would recommend to the traveler's.

We recently spent four days at the hotel, I know this contradicts what others are saying but the service at the hotel is absolutely awful. At check-in we were given the wrong room number, the air conditioning was poor, the fridge in our room was useless. The rooftop restaurant provides bland food and awful service, our room was never serviced properly and on the third day we spoke to the person on reception who said they would speak to housekeeping about it, all they did was open the door and throw in bathrobes and slippers, on top of that we returned later to find the car park full, even though we had been charged for parking for our entire stay, when I asked on reception where I could park they struggled to say, a simple map would have been so useful. I did ask if I could speak to a manager but was told they were on holiday, it seems there was no body in charge of the hotel it was nothing more than a free for all. I expect someone from the hotel will respond with the usual "we are sorry, it's not up to our usual standards etc" save your time and energy and do something about it as i would hate anyone else having to go through the same experience we did.

The room is spacious and clean. We have to take the tram to go to the city centre. It’s around 5-10 mins walk to the tram station. You can’t control the air con from your room, you have to dial to the reception to change the temperature for you.

Perfect option for a short term stay in Bordeaux. We were delighted to spend two nights at this beautiful hotel. Smooth check-in (as a Radisson VIP member), our room was upgraded to the corner room with a stunning river view. The personal was super friendly, especially the receptionist guy with curly hair named Mathias, he was so kind, hospitable and professional! He helped us with every requests we had during the stay! The breakfast was quite regular, there was not much options to choose from, but since it was complementary I can’t complain at all. The rooftop bar and restaurant was really nice during the late evening, we had a few cocktails and I would highly recommend to try the Caipirinha there! Location was ok, you can reach the center by 35-40 minutes walking or 15 minutes by tram. Overall, I would give this hotel a solid 9 out of 10 and looking forward to come back here in the nearest future!

First of all, we think the personnel at the hotel do their best, but the management and routines at the hotel is not good enough. ||We stayed 11 days in one of the suites with terrace.||Examples: Get different answers from different personnel, we think this is because of lack of training and routines. Things were done differently from day to day.||Like cleaning the room, some days ok but other days no toilet paper, no towels, no coffee, not cleaned, had to ask for changing the bed linens after one week, no water and so on. ||AC often turned off. Worst off all, terrace door was left open! (nothing was stolen). ||The outside furniture was dirty and the parasol was missing. (was in place the second day after asking for it). Ashtray on the terrace was full and smelled, we are NOT smoking.||We ask for a late check out after spending 11 days in the suit, but was asked to pay 20 euro pr. hour, after spending like 2700 euro at your hotel, this is stingy. ||The website pictures do not match the room and terrasse amenities. ||

We're currently at the hotel having booked a 4 night stay, check-in was poor we were given the wrong room number so could not get into the room, I went back to reception and was then given the right number. The room was warm and we struggled with the air conditioning, I called reception and was told they controlled there and that they would turn it on, 10 minutes later nothing, I called reception again and was told to wait another 10 minutes, 20 minutes later still nothing so I went to reception where they proudly showed me the PC screen saying the air conditioning was on and that i should wait another 20 minutes, at the same time i was told it could not be set lower than 20c as it was the local law. Eventually the person on reception agreed to let me see if another room was cooler it turns out it was and when he came to our other room he agreed it was warm, he did put it down to us opening the curtains, well of course we did as we wanted to see the view we were paying extra to see. We then decided to have a drink in the rooftop bar, my wife ordered a burger with no cheese, it came with cheese! Both my wife's burger and mine were supposed to have crispy bacon no sign of it. Twice we asked for water, nothing came, my wife then went to get some only to be told by another waiter that if she had asked he would have got it for her, she did ask, twice! Breakfast was ok, the room is ok, the shower is nice and the bed comfortable, our room has been serviced whilst we have been out but have come back to find the tea and coffee has not been replenished. The room also has a square box that could be a refrigerator yet it cools nothing, maybe its another local law we are not aware of? We now find we have the noise from the local bar playing loud music, we upgraded our room surely we should have been informed and the room should have better sound proofing, I cannot find any reason to recommend this hotel to anyone.
