Radisson Blu Hotel Fürst Leopold, Dessau

⚠️ Potential Room Charge Fraud – Be Cautious! I was charged twice for my stay at this hotel. Despite providing clear evidence of duplicate payment, the hotel refused to issue a refund. Communication with the management was unhelpful and evasive. The room was clean and the location was quite good — so if you don’t mind paying double the price, feel free to book. I strongly advise future guests NOT to use the LUCA app for payment, even if you receive a link via Booking.com or WhatsApp. Before checking out, always confirm whether your credit card pre-authorization has been canceled before making any additional payments.

Last minute booking whilst cycling through Germany. I had some anxiety about parking and storage of our bicycles. The hotel offers secure storage in their garage, anxiety sorted. Hotel was good with comfy beds and good service. Reasonably priced, would stop here again.

The hotel is best located, 5 to 10 min walking distance from the main station, 10 min to the Bauhaus museum and 15 min to the Bauhaus building. The breakfast is super and serve continental food. The room are huge, clean and the service is good, friendly. Spa is included! The minus come from the repair status. I pay for 4 star Radisson Blu hotel and do expect higher frequency of modern up the hotel.

I spent the last Thursday night of August 2024 in the Kurt Weil suite of this hotel. The room was fine, the bed and shower excellent. The best was that I was treated to a cold beer waiting for me in my room after having checked in with a 1000 km drive in my bum and the outdoor temperature at +35. The breakfast room is depressing and the quality of the products served does not match the star rating; industrial bread and juice, stone hard nectarines and rubber like overcooked scrambled eggs.

Good hotel in excellent location, in the centre of Dessau with a very convenient underground car park (paid separately). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, however a little bit tired, for example a carpet in the room was stained. Generally the hotel is OK and I think I would stay there again.

No (working) airconditioning! Hotel seems untouched since te 80’s, it’s not bad but definitely outdated. Luckily the beds are great and breakfast was good. Charging 15 euro for the parking is quite steep, but there is public parking around as well. Shower would be great (lots of water pressure) if the drain would not be clogged… mentioned this at the reception but no note was made and no impression was given they would do anything about it.

Beautiful and modern rooms and bar. Looks like a Mritim hotel. Main staff are professional and super friendly. Large tremendously clean room, large comfy bed, excellent work desk and could open window. Quiet bar for work meetings.in afternoon. Superb location close to Environment Agency and railway station and short walk in city centre. Just Argentinian steak was not up the expected level.
