Booked a room for one night with river view. The room was very dated and in need of an upgrade. The view from the window was affected by the dirty glass both inside and out. No usb sockets in the room and we had no sockets next to our bed to plug our phones in. | On a positive note the staff were very friendly and helpful.| The hotel has no atmosphere and seemed very empty.| The fitness centre was also closed. |Breakfast was good but again very dated furniture.

The stay was amazing. The hotel had a wonderful view and I must stay 3 night stay was great. The housekeeping team always went 1 step ahead in giving the best service. The front office night team needed more training, but Habeeb abass made it up and fixed all the minor issues ||My wife enjoyed her birthday, and it was great . Special thanks to the food and beverage team to check on the guest and keep them happy.

Stayed 2 nights with friends. Staff really nice and sorted rooms early for us. Hotel is a bit soulless and needs investment. Location fine if you don't mind a good walk. |Gym and pool closed with no explanation. |It may have been a good 4 star in the past but needs work done to get it back to past glories. |I would rate the hotel as a decent 3 star hotel. |

This hotel is well located for pretty much anywhere in Liverpool. Check in was easy and friendly and I got a free upgrade. My room was beautiful and very quiet. I didn't use the pool but my friends said that it was really nice. The best thing was that check out was 12, which seems to be quite unusual these days. It meant that I could sleep in and really enjoy my stay. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Liverpool.

Firstly the good points. We were impressed by the welcome and help given to us by the lady who checked us in. She kindly gave us a map of the area and advice as to the best places to go in the area. The hotel is on the edge of the city centre but still close enough to walk to the main tourist destinations. Unfortunately the quality of the hotel and it maintenance is poor. Firstly the rooms. The one we stayed in was clean but very dated. Air conditioning controls were broken and door lock was broken. The toilet didn't work properly so multiple attempts were required to successfully flush. You have to step up into the bathroom so be wary of this at night as this is a trip hazard particularly for those with mobility issues. The pool/spa area (The reason we chose this hotel) was in a very poor state of repair. The handle to the sauna door hanging off, missing tiles from the whirlpool filled in with cement and damaged flooring. The water in the pool and whirlpool were both cold, presumably to save money on the heating bills. The hotel provided two loungers adjacent to the pool but the cushions on them were dirty and had obviously seen better days. It was certainly not an area that you would want to spend too much time in. (See photos) The cooked breakfast option on Sunday was very poor with the food clearly having spent far too long under a heat lamp. The offering of lukewarm mashed up tinned tomatoes helped rehydrate the food but the bacon was still very tough and the sausages dried out and almost inedible. Monday mornings cooked offering was better but still poor compared with rival hotels. Fortunately there is a good range of cereals, and a continental breakfast offering. Many of the above issues could be easily and quickly rectified with very little expense so why do the Radisson group have so little regard for their customers that they feel that it is acceptable to let this hotel decline in this way ? Unfortunately, based on this visit I cannot recommend Radisson Hotels and if you are visiting Liverpool there are plenty of modern city centre alternative brand of hotels that you should investigate.

The hotel itself is modern and rooms are nice enough. Bar is very expensive, but expected in a hotel. What let's it down is the 'Spa' and the Breakfast area. The hotel must have 100 plus rooms. We went for breakfast at 9 am and there were 2 seats available. It was basically full and did not look big enough for the size of the hotel. Lots of items of food had run out and very tight to try get from the food to your table. The selection was good however and quality was OK. The 'Spa' is not a spa. Firstly we only wanted to go for a Steam and were told there were already 12 people in the pool so could we come back later. 12 people is the capacity?! This is ridiculous for a hotel of this size. When we did get in, the whole 'spa' including the changing rooms were severely run down. It's like the hotel is new and the spa area has been there for 30 years. Paint peeling off the walls, stains everywhere. The pool was odd and looked like it had swimming lessons going on. The sauna was about the only thing that looked newer. Problem was it had enough room for 6 people at a squeeze. Steam room barely had any steam and a waste of time sitting in there. Showers were awful. Especially those by the sauna. No ability to change temp and barely any water comes out. Overall, hotel is nice and modern but if you are thinking of going here for the Spa.... definitely look elsewhere

The room and beds were good size… fantastic view of the waterfront. Unfortunately we only stayed for a night so did not get to enjoy the facilities. Would definitely comeback.||

Room 806, worst nights sleep of 2024. I am an avid traveler and I can honestly say that the bed in that room is completely finished, the mattress was terrible. And the pillows very poor, even after requesting better ones. I complained and said I expected a room reduction, the women at reception said she could see I was shattered as was my wife (and we are non drinkers) - was told can do nothing about it. Go to a Premier Inn you will get a good night sleep
