Radisson Blu Hotel, Port Elizabeth

After spending months in the hotel with its stunning sea views, watching dolphins from the window and on the beaches just a few meters away, I returned with my parents to enjoy the view, dinner, and breakfast.||Karen, the restaurant hostess, who had already looked after me many mornings, made me feel at home. She always catered to my needs, whether I was in a hurry or wanted to relax with a book on the weekend. The staff was very friendly and flexible. They always put a smile on my face! The same was true for my parents, who also enjoyed their breakfast. They felt comfortable in the same atmosphere.||Ayola's hospitality during our dinner was also outstanding. She contributed to a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. She is very friendly and made sure nothing was missing. Our wine glasses were constantly refilled, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening, our conversations, and the relaxing time together.

Where to start...I had high expectations for Radisson Blu, but my stay was pretty disappointing.First off, check-in was delayed because the rooms weren’t ready, and even after waiting, they still weren’t properly cleaned. There was even an empty milk carton left on the desk, which didn’t inspire much confidence in their housekeeping.The room itself was pretty dull, aside from the great view. It also needed some serious maintenance—bits of wood were coming off, and the paint was peeling in places.The biggest issue was the water from the taps—it came out brown, which was a major red flag.Overall, for the price, I expected much better. I wouldn’t stay here again when there are likely better options out there.

Excellent hotel, well placed with access to the beach and airport. Huge room with magnificent views. Clean room. Very helpful with baggage, and overall welcoming and good service. Large and varied breakfast. Couldn’t use the pool due to high winds, unfortunately was too cold. Would stay again and recommend.

I had an amazing dining experience at Tabu Restaurant at Radisson Blu. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, full of flavor, and worth every bite. Everything we ordered was fresh and perfectly prepared. What truly made the experience exceptional though was our waiter, Ntando. His service was outstanding from start to finish, professional, friendly, attentive, and always checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and ensured everything ran smoothly. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. Thank you Ntando for making our visit so memorable, I’ll definitely be back!

What truly stood out was the exceptional attention to detail nothing was overlooked, and every request was handled with care and professionalism. A very nice hotel located with rooms facing the sea that gives a very nice view. The staff members at the reception are also very friendly. Happy with the parking and safety and security is on another level. Breakfast was a lil bit disappointing because people like us who don't eat pork are not accommodated, less of variety to choose from.

Zizipho in the restaurant is amazing. Her service on the first night was great, especially as I had a cold so described what a ‘hot toddy’ was and she made it perfectly. When we returned for dinner on night 2 she remembered our drinks orders and brought me another hot toddy. She is a delight. The room is huge but a little in need of a refurbishment. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choice with gluten free options including biscuits and cake. The location is good for the airport and local shops and restaurants
