Check in was slow and the man checking us in wasn't the most engaging. Our room was fine, the mini bar is very expensive and we didn't use this. The staff were good throughout with the exception of a couple of incidents, a bar waitress complimented my bag and then said 'when the rich people come in winter they all have Birkins'... My bag may not have been Hermes but it certainly wasn't cheap. this comment was over familiar and ill - placed. we decided to treat ourselves in the restaurant to the rib of beef however i was unable to eat mine as the beef was incredibly salty and tasted more like gammon. the staff dealt with this very well and took my half off the bill. The breakfasts were great here but all the restaurant food was very salty, at £160 for a rib of beef it really needs to be better and have more up market sides that some half steamed veg. We were unable to use the pool as they rent it out externally for children's swimming lessons at the time we wanted to, not ideal or very relaxing. There is still building work going on around the hotel, this didn't disturb us but it did make the parking hard to find. maybe when they iron out some things and finish off developing the area things will improve.

Great hotel , very modern with many facilities. Comfy bed, large shower and very clean. Considering the price, it doesn’t have air conditioning . Food in the restaurant and bar quite pricey but it is in a major tourist area. You also have to pay for parking, of which the entrance is hard to find.

Great spa, fitness and 25 m swimming pool. Location is near everything - nature, shops, restaurants and transportation: train station and roads. Staff is striving to make you feel welcome. Lots of cosy corners in a lounge area, and a barman is friendly and knowledgeable about cocktail variations. Food is high quality and presented well. Wonderful!

Second time stayed here, room itself was perfect as expected, parking below the hotel is ideal. Used the restaurant on the evening, food was nice but expensive for what it was. Breakfast was a dissapointment, felt like not enough staff as tables were slow to be cleared and food was not piping hot, but staff were helpful/pleasant.

The hotel itself is really nice - lovely decor, gym and pool however in the hot weather it was hard to sleep without any AC (an no fans!) The hotel is on a building site with a railway line running right outside of the hotel so noisy||Staff service was nothing memorable and quite unfriendly. Food was super expensive but the whole area was.

The hotel is very nice overall. Fancy architecture, nice furniture and atmosphere. However, as a VIP-Member at Radisson, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. One of the benefits is normally an upgrade to the highest category of rooms available. I was given an upgrade to a so called "Superior" room, which is exactly the same layout and size as a Standard room, only on a higher floor. Upon inquiry, I was told that a suite was indeed available but would cost more than 1K for an upgrade. It's kind of sad that they would rather keep a room empty instead of offering it to very loyal customer. But otherwise great!

Very disappointing service As a top-tier Radisson loyalty member, I was shocked to be asked to pay for an upgrade that should always be complimentary. This has never happened at other Radisson hotels. Service overall was very slow — staff seemed untrained and uninterested. Definitely not the standard you expect from a premium hotel. Won’t be coming back.

Comfortable modern hotel in Andermatt. In general everything was good, including the room amenities, breakfast and pool/saunas. I am confused about the difference between standard and superior room. I got an upgrade to superior because of my Radisson status but the room looked exactly the same as the standard one in the pictures. On the hotel website they also look exactly the same so I'm confused what's the point of selling some rooms as superior and therefore more expensive. The staff at the reception and restaurant seemed like they didn't care. Would be nice if they were more polite and welcoming.
