Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt

This hotel was a fantastic base for our ski trip and impressed us in so many ways. The location is ideal—just steps from the ski lifts—making it incredibly easy to get on and off the slopes each day. The ski locker room is excellent which made storing our gear and getting ready each morning simple and comfortable. The hotel facilities are great, and the rooms are a real highlight. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious, with thoughtful details that made a big difference: lots of wardrobe space, a towel heater, and beautiful views towards the ski fields. After long days in the snow, it was such a pleasure to come back to a room that felt this comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The buffet had a wide range of high-quality options, with a side à la carte menu. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with anything we needed. One especially memorable touch was the complimentary reindeer carriage ride through town—it was such a lovely surprise and added a bit of magic to our stay. Radisson Blu Andermatt combines comfort, location, and thoughtful service perfectly. It’s a wonderful choice for anyone visiting the area, whether for skiing or simply to enjoy the alpine setting.

Rooms are very spacious, modern and tastefully furnished, the breakfast was wonderful and the hotel in general has good laidback vibes and a cozy feeling. The pool was my favourite part of the hotel as it’s very big and allows a complete view of the alps from any angle and sunbeds to relax on. For skiers like me it’s extremely convenient as there’s a complimentary van taking me to and from the ski lifts without issues efficiently. As someone who works in the hospitality industry I think the staff are very helpful and friendly yet professional and I totally enjoyed my time there. will return someday.

We had such a great stay at this hotel! It is well located, service is excellent! The staff from the restaurant (especially the manager) and from the bar - Abygaelle, are just amazing and have excellent service. The staff from reception is very kind too and great. Family friendly hotel, great with babies, there is also a baby/kids pool at 30 degrees which is great! Food is excellent too, at the restaurant and for breakfast. Follow-up on requests and between services is amazing: reception, restaurant, housekeeping, etc. One thing I could recommend, is a bit of service for the breakfast, it’s not great to have a coffee machine for breakfast (even if it is grain based), and to have to queue for it

Our stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen in Andermatt was an excellent experience. The hotel is modern, conveniently located near the train station, with beautiful mountain views. The staff is very courteous, and special thanks go to the driver, Sandor, who was extremely helpful and punctual. Highly recommend this hotel.

Of all the places I've stayed, this has to be one of the top. The room was clean and had fitting aesthetic to the area, and the services provided were top notch. If I were to stay around here again, I can assure you this would be my top pick for a place to stay.

Check in was slow and the man checking us in wasn't the most engaging. Our room was fine, the mini bar is very expensive and we didn't use this. The staff were good throughout with the exception of a couple of incidents, a bar waitress complimented my bag and then said 'when the rich people come in winter they all have Birkins'... My bag may not have been Hermes but it certainly wasn't cheap. this comment was over familiar and ill - placed. we decided to treat ourselves in the restaurant to the rib of beef however i was unable to eat mine as the beef was incredibly salty and tasted more like gammon. the staff dealt with this very well and took my half off the bill. The breakfasts were great here but all the restaurant food was very salty, at £160 for a rib of beef it really needs to be better and have more up market sides that some half steamed veg. We were unable to use the pool as they rent it out externally for children's swimming lessons at the time we wanted to, not ideal or very relaxing. There is still building work going on around the hotel, this didn't disturb us but it did make the parking hard to find. maybe when they iron out some things and finish off developing the area things will improve.

I booked the hotel and planned to stay there for relaxing. The hotel was wonderful and comfortable however the sauna was not available due to maintenance works which was a bit annoying for me. Overall the experience was good and will definitely visit it again.

Second time stayed here, room itself was perfect as expected, parking below the hotel is ideal. Used the restaurant on the evening, food was nice but expensive for what it was. Breakfast was a dissapointment, felt like not enough staff as tables were slow to be cleared and food was not piping hot, but staff were helpful/pleasant.
