Radisson Blu Hotel, St. Gallen

First of all I would like to mention this is the first time I take the time to leave a review but I had to. I was very disappointed with my stay at Radisson Blu in St Gallen. I booked a junior suit room for my family (2 adults and 2 kids). The room are very outdated : one of the wardrobes was missing a door, no charging outlets near the bed, and the decoration consisted of old plastic fashion advertising frames. For the price I was really expecting a much better experience even do I knew they have standard room. On top of it this morning I wanted to share my concerns with the receptionist but I couldn't finish my sentence she became aggressive saying why I didn't say anything they always find a solution. I really disliked the way she talked to me. I cannot recommend this establishment.

Welcome to the Radisson Blu in St. Gallen. Very warm and friendly welcoming at the reception and easy - smooth check-in. Modern style rooms and surprisingly spacious bathroom, especially the shower. The location of the hotel couldn’t be any better. Very next to the trade fair area (Messe St. Gallen) and just 5 Minutes walk from downtown / old town St. Gallen. I’ve just two remarks: 1. Hotel parking 30 sFr per night 2. Dog supplement also 30 sFr per night Even in higher classified hotels we never paid more than 20 EUR. - Just a pity.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. All staff were really friendly, and the room and public areas were spotless. Great choice at breakfast, even for us vegetarians!

Expensive for what you get. The hotel just feels a little tired and rundown, although in fairness, everything was clean. The breakfast in the morning was fine, but nothing special. All in all, it just felt as though the hotel wasn't really trying too hard. A pity, because it was not cheap!!

Convenient location within walking distance of the sports arena and city center. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly reception.

Very nice Hotel with good service and nice rooms. The late check out at 12pm is great. 3min walk to the Olma center. Garage parking. Breakfast is fine as well. Overall top hotel.

I had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were very accommodating and helpful with whatever you needed. I recommend this hotel.

Happy with my stay and the service. Will stay again, my expectations were fully met.||I am naming one negative point: the ironing board in room 522 is mounted in the drawer and meant to be pulled out. However, the door of the drawer cannot be openend that far, so the ironing board is unusable. Front desk reacted quickly and brought me ironing board and iron. So the issue was well solved.

Pretty good hotel, worthy of its 4 stars. Maybe a bit pricy for what you get compared to other Radisson Blu hotels around, but this is Switzerland after all. Only a 5 mins bus ride from the central station, probably walkable but who wants to do that in St Gallen's awful weather. Overall ideal for a business or city trip. plus there is free wifi !!!!! I mean seriously this should be a standard ...
