Loved staying here. The staff were friendly and welcoming (hello to Cristian) the rooms were always properly prepared and restocked w amenities. Breakfast had a varied assortment although it didn't change much day to day. So much local fish varieties which we enjoyed. Location was excellent and made our itinerary walkable

Perfect location to visit this amazing place on Earth. Convenient airport express drop-off and pick-up right in front of the hotel. It’s ideally located near the city centre and major attractions. The breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding—the best I’ve had in all my travels. Easily 10 stars for breakfast alone! The room was spotlessly clean and offered an amazing harbor view. I’ve stayed at Radisson properties many times, and this hotel was yet another great experience. The only downside was the lack of availability for both early check-in and late check-out, which are supposed to be benefits of the Radisson Premium rewards program. As feedback, better communication between housekeeping and management could help. Early check-ins and late check-outs should be possible with improved room management.

Not overly happy, staying here now, the rooms allocated to us are not in any of the online pictures on any website, we’ve been given old style rooms which are totally different to those advertised online which is not acceptable at all. We’ve now had to call reception for a second time as the heating in both our rooms Is not working correctly and we’ve been told they will bring a plug in heater - again not acceptable when you are paying £270.00 GBP per night ! Location is very central which is good, breakfast is acceptable.

Amazing hotel to stay in. It is walking distance to plenty of shops, museums and places to eat or drink. The breakfast is great and the bed in the room was super comfortable. The bathroom shower is the best hotel shower I have experienced. The only downside to the room we stayed in was that there was a step or raised part at the bathroom door that I kept hitting my feet on.

We stayed in a sea view room. It has excellent view of the yatchs and snowy hills. The breakfast buffet is pretty good with salmon, mackerel, pickeled herring, live egg counter. It is good to stay at this location than far from the city as all the tours (nothern lights, whale watching, bus for going to the fjellheisen, etc) start near here. The service is good, as expected from Radisson. They do give a separate heater if the room's too cold when you get in. We didn't get a chance to explore the sauna or other facilities.

Great for the most part. Check-in lines are long with many people arriving from the airport at once, but the staff is very nice. The included breakfast was incredible, with lots of options. Slept soundly, though one night the noise of kids(?) running around in the room above us was quite loud.

I booked a "cozy room" as a solo traveler and was somewhat concerned about the size, but it was just right. Normal check-in, great breakfast buffet, and the sauna / gym looked pretty good. Great location and within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Tromso.

If you are wondering which hotel to choose – look no further. This is the one! I have to start with the hotel staff – the service at the reception was simply perfect. A special thank you must go to William, as our wonderful experience of the Lofoten Islands began with his warm hospitality. We were exhausted after a long journey, but he immediately cheered us up. He provided us with a wealth of useful information, told us all about the hotel, and greeted us with his signature line: "Welcome to the best hotel; you made the right choice!" Everything about this hotel is flawless: the perfect location, the beautiful rooms with panoramic views of the bay, the impeccable beds with incredibly comfortable mattresses and pillows, the spotless cleanliness, the cozy lighting, and the immaculate bathrooms equipped with everything you need. The hotel lobby is also a beautiful space to relax and warm up after a long day. And of course, the breakfasts were absolutely amazing! I would like to thank the entire hotel team for their excellent service, and especially William. It was because of his hospitality, care, and charm that we chose to book this hotel again just a few days after our trip had ended! Everything was perfect. 10 out of 10!

Yelp
My time at the Radisson in Tromsø was very pleasant. My spouse and I stayed for a few nights in one of the smaller rooms which did feel a tad bit cramped, so if we could do over our experience we probably would've paid extra for the next size up room. The location was extremely convenient, it's close to the water/boat docks and next door to most tourism agencies. As far as amenities go, we only visited the hotel gym on the last day of our stay but it was very spacious with lots of free weights and machines. There's also a balcony connected to the gym which makes for a nice lookout, you can see the Arctic Cathedral across the water which is very beautiful and lit up at night. We didn't try the breakfast while there so I cannot speak to that, but overall, it was a nice stay and I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Stayed here over the winter holidays for an aurora hunt. This hotel is nicely positioned in the center of the city. The convenience of staying here is a lot of tours will pick up in the lobby. The complimentary daily breakfast is pretty good - lots of variety and plenty of fresh juices; beats eating outside as Tromso is not exactly a culinary destination. The roof top view (where the gym is located) is grand. You can open the door to go on the balcony where you get an awesome view of the city. Definitely check it out if you are staying here.

Yelp
I appreciate that this hotel offers a special room type catering to solo travellers. It's called the "cosy small room" and the name is accurate. Critically, it gets the job done by lowering expenses, while maintaining the quality you'd expect from a full-service hotel. Service was great and a hot buffet breakfast was included in my room rate. I had an early flight the second morning, so they prepped me a cold breakfast in a paper bag to take away.

Yelp
I didn't actually stay in this hotel, but I did utilize their tour service desk and the lady that assisted me went above and beyond in helping me to find just the right tour to do the afternoon I was there. The lobby is clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a small café in the lobby area where you can enjoy an assortment of hot and cold drinks. The hotel lobby itself exudes a warm atmosphere

Yelp
Absolutely horrendous service. The lack of professionalism and sympathy we received from the Tomsø Radisson Blu staff was appalling. My aunt and I made a non-refundable booking to stay at the Radisson Blu hotel in Tromsø for four nights. This because we were certain that we would go on our trip that was only a few weeks away with flights booked and everything. So we booked the hotel via booking.com (a service we have been using for years and trust). Unfortunately, a week before the trip my aunt got ill (high fever and couldn't leave bed). Two days later we receive the devastating news that her childhood best friend and neighbour of over 40 years died. My aunt was too ill to even attend the funeral much less get on a plane and fly to Tromsø. While being very sick with barely any voice to speak my aunt went back and forth speaking to the Radisson staff and to Booking.com explaining the situation to them and trying to reach an agreement. Ideally we just wanted to move the booking by a few weeks to give her recovery time. The hotel staff showed such little sympathy. [We called the hotel to cancel and they said that if it were up to them they would cancel but this had to be done with Booking.com, as the reservation was made with them. Booking.com said that they would be happy to cancel the reservation or change it with approval from the Radisson Blu. The Radisson blu denied approval. Every time we spoke to the hotel staff it was a different excuse as to why it could not be cancelled (Booking.com, hotel policy, booking.com commission and other conflicting excuses). ] No one would take responsibility for it being Radisson Blu policy. No one could explain why we could not do it. We could not even speak to a manager to get a coherent answer. We would have appreciated a sincere explanation of the cancellation policy but were not even afforded that. The whole time the staff seemed indignated and fixated on the fact that we made the booking via booking.com rather than on the Radisson website directly. The fact that we were unable to receive a straightforward and direct response on a motive why we could not alter the booking just goes to show the lack of effort. I have never experienced such condescending service. Especially during such a difficult time we would have appreciated a little bit of humaneness from the staff's part. For a hotel chain that prides itself in making "memorable experiences" for their guests, this most certainly was a horrendous one.

Yelp
Good hotel; breakfast ist OK but could be better. It's clean but a bit old-fashioned and could be refurbished.
