Wonderful stay. Big, light rooms, heavy curtains, clean and a fast working elevator. Breakfast very good with a lot of possibilities. Nice staff. Perfect location of the hotel for a vacation in the area. The roof areas could need some cleaning, we had a lot of dirt in front of our windows.

Perfect location and a great staff. Upon checkin I was greeted by Edith, she explained me everything patiently and answered all my queries. One of the best front desk staff I have ever met in my life. ||Hotel is cosy, rooms are average in size but neat and clean. Beds are very comfortable. ||Will surely stay again.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful. Christian and Edith were especially friendly, kind, helpful and professional. But each staff member did a great job providing friendly and efficient assistance. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, loaded with a variety of options. The only suggestion for the hotel in terms of improvement is to provide more lighting in the rooms, and provide all rooms with the ability to adjust the air conditioning/hearing unit. Overall, it's a great hotel in a perfect location in lovely Tromso.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø, and overall it was a very good experience. The check-in was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location could not be more central.|I must also mention William at the front desk, not only was he professional and attentive, but he was also undeniably charming.|The only minor drawback was that breakfast felt a little crowded at peak times. |All in all, a very pleasant stay. Thanks

This was a fantastic experience in Tromsø. William at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and pleasant. The room was clean and cozy, with a beautiful view that made the stay even more memorable. After a long day exploring Tromsø, it was the perfect place to relax. I really appreciated the warm atmosphere and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Tromsø!

The Radisson is in a good location, on the east of the island near the docking area for cruise ships. Ask for a high floor with a view of the Fjellheisen. It is a 20 minute tax ride costing about 250 NOK from the airport, and is near shops and restaurants, as well as Tromso Cathedral (Domkirke). The hotel is showing some signs of needing updating, with some slightly tired carpets but is generally well presented. Check in was friendly and efficient with staff member Master. Our superior room on the 7th floor had a nice view of the cable car station but some of the cruise ships are massive and blocked out some of the view of the water. The room had a walk in shower and the usual amenities, but did not have USB chargers and the TV was small by modern hotel standards, certainly in comparison to its sister hotel in Bergen. Breakfast was good although the host manning the desk seemed rather grumpy, with a good choice of food. It closes at 10am, a little earlier than many. The hotel has a small gym on the 10th floor, with great views to while away exercise time.

The hotel was nice and clean. Trouble was with the temperature in the room...way to hot and no way to control, the duvets were heavy and too much in the hot room...no other, lighter, blankets or sheets. We stayed twice in one week in different rooms. One had a very narrow deep tub, with no grab bar to help when stepping out, shampoo, and body wash dispensers were behind the stream of water, no where to hang used towels (smaller room) to be able to use them again. One bathroom was so small that if you weren't paying close attention you'd hit your chin on the sink on your way to sitting on the toilet.

The hotel delivered a good experience during my stay in early Jul 25. Staff at the front desk was so helpful and friendly.||||Hotel is located near the port and bus stop from the airport; thus making it easier travel. I got assigned to good-view room seeing the sea and the Arctic Catheral. The room has a bathroom with bath tube. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. ||||Overall, Great hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and large room. Good breakfast.

Yelp
My time at the Radisson in Tromsø was very pleasant. My spouse and I stayed for a few nights in one of the smaller rooms which did feel a tad bit cramped, so if we could do over our experience we probably would've paid extra for the next size up room. The location was extremely convenient, it's close to the water/boat docks and next door to most tourism agencies. As far as amenities go, we only visited the hotel gym on the last day of our stay but it was very spacious with lots of free weights and machines. There's also a balcony connected to the gym which makes for a nice lookout, you can see the Arctic Cathedral across the water which is very beautiful and lit up at night. We didn't try the breakfast while there so I cannot speak to that, but overall, it was a nice stay and I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Stayed here over the winter holidays for an aurora hunt. This hotel is nicely positioned in the center of the city. The convenience of staying here is a lot of tours will pick up in the lobby. The complimentary daily breakfast is pretty good - lots of variety and plenty of fresh juices; beats eating outside as Tromso is not exactly a culinary destination. The roof top view (where the gym is located) is grand. You can open the door to go on the balcony where you get an awesome view of the city. Definitely check it out if you are staying here.

Yelp
I appreciate that this hotel offers a special room type catering to solo travellers. It's called the "cosy small room" and the name is accurate. Critically, it gets the job done by lowering expenses, while maintaining the quality you'd expect from a full-service hotel. Service was great and a hot buffet breakfast was included in my room rate. I had an early flight the second morning, so they prepped me a cold breakfast in a paper bag to take away.

Yelp
I didn't actually stay in this hotel, but I did utilize their tour service desk and the lady that assisted me went above and beyond in helping me to find just the right tour to do the afternoon I was there. The lobby is clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a small café in the lobby area where you can enjoy an assortment of hot and cold drinks. The hotel lobby itself exudes a warm atmosphere

Yelp
Absolutely horrendous service. The lack of professionalism and sympathy we received from the Tomsø Radisson Blu staff was appalling. My aunt and I made a non-refundable booking to stay at the Radisson Blu hotel in Tromsø for four nights. This because we were certain that we would go on our trip that was only a few weeks away with flights booked and everything. So we booked the hotel via booking.com (a service we have been using for years and trust). Unfortunately, a week before the trip my aunt got ill (high fever and couldn't leave bed). Two days later we receive the devastating news that her childhood best friend and neighbour of over 40 years died. My aunt was too ill to even attend the funeral much less get on a plane and fly to Tromsø. While being very sick with barely any voice to speak my aunt went back and forth speaking to the Radisson staff and to Booking.com explaining the situation to them and trying to reach an agreement. Ideally we just wanted to move the booking by a few weeks to give her recovery time. The hotel staff showed such little sympathy. [We called the hotel to cancel and they said that if it were up to them they would cancel but this had to be done with Booking.com, as the reservation was made with them. Booking.com said that they would be happy to cancel the reservation or change it with approval from the Radisson Blu. The Radisson blu denied approval. Every time we spoke to the hotel staff it was a different excuse as to why it could not be cancelled (Booking.com, hotel policy, booking.com commission and other conflicting excuses). ] No one would take responsibility for it being Radisson Blu policy. No one could explain why we could not do it. We could not even speak to a manager to get a coherent answer. We would have appreciated a sincere explanation of the cancellation policy but were not even afforded that. The whole time the staff seemed indignated and fixated on the fact that we made the booking via booking.com rather than on the Radisson website directly. The fact that we were unable to receive a straightforward and direct response on a motive why we could not alter the booking just goes to show the lack of effort. I have never experienced such condescending service. Especially during such a difficult time we would have appreciated a little bit of humaneness from the staff's part. For a hotel chain that prides itself in making "memorable experiences" for their guests, this most certainly was a horrendous one.

Yelp
Good hotel; breakfast ist OK but could be better. It's clean but a bit old-fashioned and could be refurbished.
