The Radisson reservation app made an error and overcharged my pre-paid reservation, which was not resolved before I reached the hotel. Assistant Manager Chantal explained the situation clearly, resolved the matter within a day and provided me with an unexpected benefit for my patience and understanding in resolving the issue. She also made sure reception staff were aware of the benefit so l would receive it easily. When there was a housekeeping issue from a previous guest and I pointed it out to the housekeeper, she resolved it quickly and perfectly, Throughout my 10-night stay, reception staff and housekeeping staff (three different individuals), who all spoke English, were all exceptionally kind, helpful and responsive. The breakfast was extensive and excellent, although I only chose to eat in the hotel twice. The premium room with full view of the sea and mountains, deep bathtub for relaxing, fridge and tea/coffee makers, and very comfy bed & pillows was truly outstanding. The hotel location was perfect for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants (many within a couple blocks) as well as public and airport transportation. I've traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe for business for 30 years. The hotel and most especially all staff members and management helped make this much-needed personal escape one of the most enjoyable and memorable times in my life. The people make all the difference in the world, and here, they definitely made my trip very special.
