Radisson Blu Hotel, Uppsala

Next to the main train station. Stuff is very friendly and you get always service of the hotel group expected. Couple of time stayed there. Top Hotel with a nice cosy small bar. Good beer selection. Vine also good choice if you don’t like beer. Food in the restaurant nice and high quality. Breakfast huge variation of food. Nice organised and very yummy.

Great location, directly opposite the main station. Rooms are tidy and a good size. Beds are comfortable. Spacious bathroom with decent shower and underfloor heating. The breakfast was also good. Staff helpful and friendly, will definitely stay again.

I stayed at Radisson Blu for a whole week! I was really happy with my stay in overall! The room was spacious and cozy, the beds really comfortable and everything was clean and tidy! The room had everything I needed! The staff is really helpful and friendly! They helped me with everything! The hotel has a good price for what it offers! The breakfast was rich and really tasty! It's location is perfect especially for those who intend to use the train! Bus stops are also extremely close! I have nothing negative to say for the hotel and I totally recommend it!

Nice hotel, excellent location (right beside the railway station). Breakfast is quite good, with a good range and high quality spread (only omission: overnight oats). Rooms are quite nice, the bathrooms are always clean (note that in the name of "eco friendliness" the water pressure is maddeningly low, but this is the same in most hotels nowadays), the restaurant has a nice ambience (only ate dinner once, it was OK for vegetarian). Only one minor niggle: the gym is really a shockingly bare-bones one, essentially a large hotel room converted to a "gym", with barely enough room to move around. It really should be updated to be even an OK gym. Staff are nice and helpful. Overall, for work at least, a nice play to stay in expensive Uppsala, and can represent "value for money" if booked in time.

It is a nice hotel with the perfect location 2 minutes from the railway station. But our room was small and the bathroom even smaller. Breakfast not acceptable as it was too crowded and had too few choices. No fried eggs and no omelette to order. The staff is nice and welcoming.

Great Radisson blu, fun shaped building on a super location. I got an upgrade to the junior suite and I was super impressed with the views interior of the room. Staff is super friendly, Swedish hospitality at it’s best. Dreamhotel for a business trip.

The hotel itself is lovely but we could hear the street noises and partying in the apartments across us on the 6th floor. Very strange as with the triple glazed windows in Sweden you don’t normally hear your neighbors.

Right next to the train station and a 10 minute walk into town. Next to some shops and restaurants. Lovely relaxation room at the top where the sauna was (we didn't use it). Breakfast was a self-service buffet with so many options, served until 11. Ice machines outside the rooms. Underfloor heating in the bathroom.

This hotel was surprisingly good for the price point. The front desk service was prompt and helpful. The room was small but had enough space for two adults who weren't spending a ton of time there. The included breakfast buffet was genuinely one of the best I've ever seen at a hotel. Huge array of options hot and cold and the pancake/crepes with whipped cream and strawberry jam were a hit! Only reason we didn't rank five stars was the shower. It was cramped and a bit slippery and the shower head was not high up and didn't angle into the shower; it angled straight down and couldn't be adjusted because there isn't a real shower door or curtain, just a pane of glass that swings out and is approximately one third the width of where a shower door should be!

I go to Uppsala several times a year for business and have tried almost all of the hotels in town and the Radisson Blu is by far my favorite. It is a newly constructed building, across from the new train station on a street that now has a string of new office and apartment buildings. The lobby and lobby restaurant area is a large open space flanked by floor to ceiling glass, which makes the space feel open and airy. The guest rooms are very large, almost American in size, but are still very Scandinavian in style - wood laminate floors with minimalist, but functional & comfortable furniture. The beds are very comfortable as well and the bathrooms are very well appointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Very nice rooms and good internet connection. The beds are very comfortable. It is clean and the bathrooms are spacious. Interior is fancy and modern. Surrounding is boring and unentertaining. The Intim dining card is maybe the worst I have ever seen! Not a big selection and no help from the kitchen to try and make something different for me, since nothing on the menu suited what I wanted.

Flying into Stockholm was magical and classic: a Scandinavian snow storm in the dead of January. When we arrived from Frankfurt late at night, I asked the information desk the best way to get to Uppsala, and she decided the bus would be the best route for us to take because it would drop us off very close the Radisson Blu. It did! The hotel was beautiful and commanding. It was late at night, a Friday night, and Swedes abound as the snow fell and the Wifi was aplenty. We approached the hotel quickly from the bus station, and we were able to successfully check into our room, greeted by an extremely friendly and energetic Swedish girl. She was very informative, explanining the breakfast and the Wifi and any other information we may need. I was exhausted, so I promptly went to the room and drew a hot bath (the bathroom floors were heated marble!) and took a long bath with complimentary bath salts. Eventually, I cuddled up in the bed and it could potentially have been the best bed in the world. I don't want to overstate how excellent my stay at the Radisson Blu Uppsala was, but I need to express how engaging the scenery was, how stunning the rooms were, and how exceptional the service staff was. For the price, which was very affordable (about $100 USD) for one night, I'll never stay anywhere else when I return to Uppsala. The walk from the Radisson Blu to the train station to bring us to Stockholm was equally close, which just made my heart sing with joy. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I am happy to have discovered the Radisson Blu in Uppsala.

Glacially slow service in Picnic bar/restaurant, tepid dim sum- 2 tiny gyoza dumplings for £8 Lovely comfy bed & great shower, good choice of English/American TV channels but climate control never works. No fridge in room but clearly a cabinet designed to hold one. No air conditioning in Summer, and freezing cold room without heat this visit. Great looking Hotel; Stylish but needs to focus on the basics.

Would definitely stay here again. Great location, just a block from the central train station in town, which is near shops, restaurants, etc. There's a great Coop market right next to the hotel. Friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet, pretty big room, very clean, quiet hotel, etc. Didn't check out the gym, pool (I think they had one), restaurant (besides breakfast), or bar.

Nice hotel with good and helpful staff. We had a junior suite with a nice view over Uppsala, domkyrkan and the castle. Clean room, with big bathroom. Access to a small but decent gym. Breakfast was good, but it would be better if they served pancakes or waffles.

Great location with very easy access to the train station. Rooms spacious, clean, well appointed. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom very nice with a heated floor. Radisson Blu puts out a really excellent buffet breakfast. Uppsala is an city made for walking and the Raddison Blu is located perfectly for our sightseeing, dinners and visiting family. I really enjoyed this hotel and i'll be back.
