Radisson Blu Media Harbour Hotel, Düsseldorf

I have been visiting this hotel for the last ten years, multiple times a year (covid years aside)||Sadly I feel the property is slowly deteriorating. ||Small details add up and when you’re a regular visitor you notice the lack of upkeep. ||For example the property had a nice water feature that spread across the front and was a lovely feature to improve ambiance while sitting outside with a drink in the warm weather. ||It’s now drained and empty!||The up lights on the front no longer work (or are turned off to save energy!) this not only detracts from an aesthetic perspective but also on a practical level at night the entrance was is now dark and dull. ||Walls in some of the rooms are scratched and scuffed, the bathroom could do we re-sealing around the shower ect..||There’s no wall sockets by bedside, let alone a USB port! This is simply unacceptable in 2024!!||Overall the hotel used to be something special but I fear due to cost constraints and lack of funding from the head office it is slipping slowly into decline, I will use the Hyatt Regency in future of the standards continue to slide. ||Very sad as I love the property, location and the staff. They are genuinely fantastic and deserve to work in/for an environment befitting to the high standard of service they deliver with a smile.

Stayed for one night in April. Nice quiet hotel in a walkable neighbourhood. The room had good natural light with floor to ceiling windows. Comfy beds and great breakfast. Good value for money. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Quick and efficient check-in and check-out.

Good experience of stay yet improvement needed in variety of breakfast. Very limited option for vegetarian. Including cereals, fruits, food etc

Pretty descent hotel. Modern cozy room, very comfortable bed, small fridge, safe, kettle and nespresso coffee machine. Complementary water, coffee and tea. Good WiFi signal for remote work. Very good breakfast selection (compared to most US hotels). Reception staff are very helpful.

Excellent hotel, nice spacious rooms, very good location. Breakfast was not extremely varied but excellent and tasteful. Loved the fresh fruits and juices. We had a wonderful stay.

The highlight for me were the front desk staff. I interacted with 3 or 4 of them and found them all to be very helpful and friendly. The room was a nice size and reasonably comfortable, BUT: no easily accessible full length mirror, no sockets anywhere near the bed, nothing brighter than mood lighting at nighttime - these are all shortcomings for me when I'm on a business trip

Excellent service, great people working there make us love the stay, great location, very nice breakfast. A little old, does not have restaurant for dinner, only bar, tiny gym. Seem a little overpriced.

Worst service ever for a 4 star hotel. My room was not cleaned and the receptionist blamed me because I had put the sign „come back later“ even though we did remove it when we were leaving the hotel! Then i went to complain to her because i tried calling her from my room but she didn't answer and then again talked back to me saying she was being busy doing her job alone, i mean is that even my problem? This is not a 2 or 3 star hotel, somebody has to be there or at least listen if your guests have something to say. If you cant take critics then don't get a job in hospitality. She did say sorry but in an angry way and talking back, so unfriendly, so unprofessional.
