My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Radisson-branded property.
First of all, the rooms were unbearably cold. The heating system was completely ineffective. Even with the heater set to the highest level, the room never became warm. The situation was so uncomfortable that I had to complain and request a room change.
Unfortunately, even after changing rooms, the problem remained exactly the same. The new room was also freezing cold, and I was forced to stay in these conditions. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel in Germany, especially during cold weather.
The second and even more serious issue was the extremely rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff.
On Friday, the second day of my stay, I went for breakfast at around 9:30–10:00 AM. A male staff member at the reception (European, blond hair, wearing a suit, appearing quite formal) told me very coldly and rudely that because it was Friday, breakfast ends at 9:30 AM.
This is shocking.
Which hotel ends breakfast at 9:30 AM?
I have stayed in countless hotels around the world, and almost all of them serve breakfast at least until 10:30 or even 11:00 AM.
The way he spoke to me was disrespectful and arrogant, as if he was taking his frustration out on me. When I said that I would at least like to buy a coffee and drink it there, he repeatedly responded with a very aggressive tone:
“No. We have nothing. No. Nothing at all.”
No explanation, no courtesy, no basic respect for the fact that I was a paying guest at this hotel.
Overall:
• Freezing cold rooms
• Completely ineffective heating system
• Extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional staff
• A stressful and very unpleasant experience
This hotel does not deserve its brand name and is absolutely not worth the money. I strongly advise anyone who values comfort, respect, and basic hospitality standards to avoid this hotel.
