Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji Denarau Island

Recently visited as part of a group of 24. The resort was good but let down by the fact that we were not informed of renovations being completed during our stay. The main restaurant and lobby area were being upgraded, resulting in temporary breakfast locations (some very tight for food service) and jackhammers going all day long while sitting at the pool. If you could zone out to the noise, the pool was great and the kids loved the slide. Adults only pool was a nice touch. Always lots of activities being run by the staff throughout the day. Great poolside service and reasonably priced cocktails. Kids club was temporarily moved to 2 hotel rooms which was not great. Restaurants on site were good and not too far a walk to the Marina or other resorts for other options. The service was great and the staff went above and beyond particularly after a incident impacting a kid. They were very kind and apologetic and provided gifts to the family. Great local dancing and fire dance show.

Great people and beautiful weather - shame about the noisy renovations - we would not have booked there had we been informed before booking yet there was nowhere else available to book once we had arrived and realised what an impact the building works were going to have . I have stayed at the Radisson years ago and had fond memories it will be awesome again once the renovations are over. Despite the difficulties all the the staff were awesome - especially the cleaning team we had for room 344 lovely people. The kids loved the pool and the activity team created loads of fun for them.

Staff great and room was fine but be warned - the hotel is currently being renovated and there is significant noise and disruption. It is extremely disappointing that the hotel did not think to warn guests that major parts of the resort are a construction site. To be advised once you have Checked In is not acceptable.

Great resort for young families. All the staff are super friendly. Moses was great each morning. The food at the restaurants was good and well priced for a resort. The kids loved the pool and the free fire dancing shows. Would come again.

Third visit to Radisson Blu - family of 3 stayed for 2 nights on level 2 with beach views from the balcony.||The hotel is under renovation impacting the restaurants and pool. Buffet breakfast is held in ballroom which doesn’t have air con and looks a bit disheveled if you choose to eat a little later. Pool area is restricted with construction ongoing during the day. The adult pool had very few people when we stayed with the family pool jam packed. It would be helpful during works that families with teenagers be allowed to use the adult pool area. This would reduce congestion with more areas to sit and swim. ||At night the complex is quiet, room comfortable and soundproof. ||Restaurants are lovely with good quality food and staff are friendly and capable too. ||Taxi is flat fee of $45.00 from airport.

This place is a must if travelling with kids. The pool is outstanding and there are plenty of dining & beverage options. If you want to venture further the Bulla Bus is a great idea and the kids love that too.||

I have recently stayed at Radisson blu and was super happy with the resort. All the workers were super helpful and great with the kids. Sim and Moses were super great with the kids and allowed us to have a break whilst keeping a eye on our kids. Also Niu was a very good bar tender and knew our names after we had just met him and made sure we were well looked after the whole trip. Thank you to the friendly staff at radisson !

We stayed at Radisson blu with 2 children aged 8 and 9 and family stayed at neighbouring resort. We absolutely loved the laid back staff, exceptional food and drinks and kids activities. The waterslide and lagoon style pool were awesome and our family staying next door wanted to play in our pool as it was perfect for kids.
