Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram

We were on a family vacation, with extended family. The overall experience was very good. Rooms were very clean n spacious, with good amenities. Restaurant was very good, excellent service, food was awesome, lots of varieties to choose from. The game area wasn't great, it was bit congested n noisy. High tea was ok. The pools were well maintained n spacious to accommodate many guests. The flora & fauna was the highlight of the resort, it was very soaciously spreadout & very well maintained. Access to beach was limited, but was good enough to enjoy the breeze & sunrise.

Stayed here for a night and had a disappointing experience from the start. Though our check-in time was 3 pm and we arrived by 3:20 pm, the process took nearly 20 minutes, and we reached our room only around 4:10 pm since it was in a separate building accessible by buggy. The property serves high tea at 4:30 pm, but due to poor crowd management and limited seating, we had to stand for a while before finding a place to sit. The resort has beach access and two pools, which are nice, but the overall experience was let down by overcrowding, average rooms and indifferent service. The property feels quite old and lacks the freshness one would expect for the price paid. The dinner buffet included in our package had decent vegetarian options, though the non-vegetarian food was below average. Breakfast was chaotic, with limited seating and slow table cleaning. Our check-out experience was equally unpleasant. Despite paying ₹28,000 for a night’s stay, our request for a one-hour late check-out was declined rudely. Adding to the frustration, we received repeated calls from 10:30 am asking when we would vacate, even after confirming our check-out by noon. Overall, it was a forgettable experience at Radisson Blu Temple Bay, Mahabalipuram. Other properties on ECR like Kaldan Samudra, InterContinental, and Sheraton have been far more hospitable, modern and better managed. We wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Beautiful property with Room for Improvement 🌴 I recently spent a few days and while the staff were friendly and facilities were excellent, one major letdown was the pool. Unfortunately, it appears to be in need of maintenance - the water clarity could be better, and the tiles need repair at the infinity pool What's disappointing is that this issue was highlighted twice during previous visit since 2020, and it seems like no significant action has been taken since. A clean, well-maintained pool is often the centerpiece of any resort, especially for kids and those looking to unwind. Additionally, I'd suggest implementing stricter norms for pool wear to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests. This could include designated swimwear, no street clothes, T shirts cotton clothing, and regular pool area cleaning. It's season time and no food and beverage at the pool bar, I walked into maritime tales by the pool to order some mocktails , I was asked by the Barman to return the glasses back to the counters. That's a first'! I'd love to see the resort prioritize pool maintenance to elevate the overall experience. With some TLC, Radisson could truly become a paradise. Rating: 4/5 ⭐️. Had a wonderful experience at the resort. It's an amazing property located right at the beach and the rooms are very spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping staff are very helpful and polite. The kitchen and the restaurant services are also awesome. My father is allergic to garlic and the restaurant staff made sure he was attended to. Special call-out and thanks to Mr Padam Singh and other Chefs at the restaurant. The property offers multiple recreational activities like cycling, archery etc making the overall experience great. I will definitely be coming back here.

Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Radisson Blu Temple Bay is a beach front location with access to a well maintained clean beach with lifeguards on watch the whole time. We felt really secure.||Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our sincerest compliments to the culinary staff. It was my brother's birthday, so we requested the chef for a special meal that was not on the menu (sarson saag and kadhu with makki roti). Without a single question, the chef's team delivered and we were in tears. We couldn't have asked for more. Credits to chefs: Mr. Amrit, Mr. Shahjahan and Mr. Rajendra . Moreover, the buffet, at every meal had an unmatched variety and every item on the menu is prepared with so much love and effort. We can't thank the staff enough. The kitchen is definitely the backbone of the resort.||Hospitality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Though there was a delay while checking in on our arrival due to a busy holiday weekend, the hospitality is top notch. From the service staff to room service, the security guards the buggy drivers, the pool staff, lifeguards, cleaners, garden staff, every single one greets you with a smile and is always on the lookout to make your stay comfortable. They sense the minutest inconvenience to correct it right away, sometimes without you even asking.||Sports and activities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The resort has a variety of activities to keep you healthy, moving and entertained.||The infinity pool and the meandering pools are our favourites. The staff goes beyond duty to energise you, like dancing at your favorite tunes by the pool to keep guests and children entertained. Besides that you can choose to spend your time, playing basketball, pickle ball, cricket, badminton, giant chess, volleyball... you name it, all for no added charge. They really want you to enjoy your stay. The activities staff was immensely helpful.||Bodhi Spa: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A place for splendid relaxation and massage therapy. You never want the massage to end. The therapists are talented and extremely cordial. ||Sustainability : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The resort pays extra attention to detail when it comes to sustainable service. The toiletries are eco-friendly. Nowhere did we see single use plastic bottles, instead specially packed glass water bottles are the norm here. To save on use of virgin tissue paper, the dining area has traditional fabric napkins. There is an entire magazine you can read to appreciate the sustainable efforts at Radisson Resorts.||Special mention:||The gardens are exceptionally well maintained.||The cleanliness of the resort deserves a shout out.||The rooms are curated with attention to the needs of tge guests. Drying racks in the balconies, free mini bar and snacks, work-station, besides the basics like iron, hair driers, coconut shell slippers in every room.||We had a wonderful stay. Over the years, we’ve explored plenty of resorts along the ECR stretch, but none have matched the seamless blend of luxury and heartfelt hospitality that Temple Bay consistently delivers.||||We usually opt for the one-bedroom pool villa, which comes with its own private swimming pool, offering complete seclusion. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and truly immerse ourselves in a state of peace and tranquility, far removed from the outside world.||||The resort boasts exceptional dining experiences, with restaurants that serve up scrumptious, beautifully crafted meals—each bite leaving you craving for more. Beyond relaxation, Temple Bay offers thrilling activities like surfing, zorbing, cycling, off-road ATV rides, and more—a paradise for adrenaline seekers like us. Meanwhile, Ms. Malar holds down the fort with grace and precision, ensuring every need is anticipated and flawlessly taken care of. Their dedication and warmth are a big part of why we keep coming back, time and again.

We stayed for a day at temple bay. The entire experience was fantastic. Far better than any other five star stay I have been to before. The check in process was smooth and everything was explained properly along with activities which are free vs paid. The room was very neat and had all the required amenities. The internet connection was stable throughout the stay. We had dinner at wharf which was fantastic. Don't miss their sea food like meen varuval. Breakfast was complimentary which was again worth it. Had all cuisines and good options in both veg and non veg. The swimming pool was very clean, the resort has beach access as well. We also tried some board games, cycling,etc. overall there is something for everyone at this resort. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely recommend for everyone.

They have good service. one day I forgot my jacket and a waitress came running towards us and delivered. It’s a great location. Overall, service is Amazingly good. Food is superb. We enjoyed and want to come back again.
