Hotel is located in a very modern neighbourhood of Oslo. The charging outlets don’t work for non Norwegian 🇳🇴 which is ……! There is a fast charger close by, 5min walk. Rooms are modern and clean. Did not get recognitions for being highest valued Radisson member, nor did we receive the upgrade. However the staff was friendly and breakfast was great! 👍🏽

Radisson Blu Hotel Trysil is highly recommendable. The location is excellent, with easy ski-in/ski-out access and plenty of great slopes. We stayed in a Prestige Room for 4 adults and 2 children, which was fantastic – especially the kitchen that allowed us to prepare most meals, a big plus given Norway’s prices. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The hotel also offers a pool area and bowling, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed as a family.

Perfect in every way ! Staying here as I type and loving every minute of the stay, the hotel is really good for families lots to do with a cinema room, bowling alley, beautiful swimming pool and spa. The location is amazing ski in and ski out literally with generous lockers all included in stay to store your skis and other gear. Food is delicious there are numerous food choices in the theory but ye Hotel food is superb. We have looked forward to Breakfast everyday and it is been more than enough to get us a through a long days skiiing ! ||The staff are really friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble ||We have a family room and it’s perfect For two adults and two teenagers. Fridge breakfast area and breakfast bar, you could eat in room no problem if you wanted. The beds are so comfy all have mattress toppers for extra comfort the rooms are super warm and well decorated |Recommended I can’t find a thing to be negative about ||Absolutely first class hotel ||Paul room 5105

Location is great. Rooms are a bit worn, but great size for families. Breakfast is very limited if you have children, really missed softer buns and oats. Buffet dinner was very underwhelming as well and very very bad tacos downstairs - so all and all they really need to improve the food game, considering there are not a lot of options on foot in the area.

On a short ski trip with my company and 30 colleagues. And this place fits all. Single room or share family room. Nice breakfast. Spa with pool and hot tub and sauna. Massage and facial treatments. 2 restaurants and a coffee place. Possibility of hiking, cross-skiing, downhill from childrens to black.

For a ski holiday, it just does not get any better than this. Multiple restaurants in the hotel that are part of the optional half board, and plenty on the mountain for lunch while you are out skiing. Lots of different rooms option to fit your family size needs. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained with an arcade, bowling alley, and multiple swimming pools for kids of all sizes. There is plenty for the adults as well with a couple bars and some great Apres ski spots on the mountain. They also do late night skiing a few nights each week as well. I must admit I am writing this with much hesitation as I like my spot, but it would not be fair not to share the secret. If you can't get into the Radison, that is fine. There are lots of new accommodations that they have built recently.

Absolutely amazing! Rooms are on top, staff is very kind. Ski shops have a lot of availability. Buffet, pool facility and the bowling are very nice, but the bowling could use a bit more work but still very nice. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you’re coming to Trysil

We had a great 4 night stay here. It's a fairly big 'ski in - ski out' resort hotel but we stayed during the first weekend of the season so it wasn't too busy. The team gave us good information prior to staying so we had a good idea what we could do and experience and they were helpful too when we arrived. One day when we wanted to get out and explore (we had a car) a member of the reception team recommended a trail which had waterfalls. It looked amazing in the snow. The reception area, on site restaurants and other public areas like the boiling alley, games area and pool where a great addition and needed when the sun went down at 3.30pm! There is very much a family friendly feel about the hotel. The pool was a decent sized, had really shallow paddling pools & a deeper area with a rock climbing wall (yes you read that correctly). It was heated to about 29 degrees and there was a hot tub too which was hot along with a sauna. The surf machine was closed. There is a spa which wasn't included without an additional fee. The room was a good family size and in generally good condition with small outside balcony. There was separate bedroom, double sofa bed and an additional pull down single bed so comfortably accommodated a family of 5. It felt cold in the room initially but did warm up on the evening - the heating is controlled centrally by the hotel. Bathroom had a heated floor. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided with the kettled but surprisingly no bottled water. There was also a mini fridge provided. Location is good if you are on a skiing trip and you are not far from the town but you definitely need a car to get out and about. Parking was amble but wasn't free. It was controlled by an easy park app and didn't work out too expensive (around £8 per 24hours). Breakfast buffet was included in the rate. It wasn't the best we've seen at a 4 star hotel but it wasn't the worst. We had an enjoyable stay and would consider staying again.

Yelp
The hotel is good and clean, the breakfast buffet is great with good selection of tasty food (worth every penny)) Free access to pools, sauna and ski room. Lobby bar is cozy. 4 stars only because of check in- you need to wait until 16pm to get in your room and the line are huge.
