All in all a good hotel, central and great location for all city activities. Very popular hotel, for good or worse. Positive: - Extensive and good breakfast, including even a home made Chinese dish desk - Great location, river just outside the hotel. Picture is from the nearby bridge, hotel is on the right hand side. - Quiet stay for being so central Negative: - Feels understaffed. Waited in line over 40 min just to check in at 7 PM, long after the check in started. Waited in line 20 min to check out. - It says "parking available". Don't assume this, like I did. It's like 15 spots, taken up in no time. - Breakfast can get very very crowded toward the end times. Spent approx 5 minutes waiting to get a table and I was travelling solo.

Excellent hotel with excellent location. Rooms racing river are bright and have excellent view of river. Hotel is located very near to stop of Flybuss stop to airport. City Centre and Train Station are virgin walking distance . Rooms are good size, clean and well maintained. Breakfast is very good with lot of vegetarian choice. Hotel has created covered open spaces like garden where one can sit and enjoy warm coffee.

I stayed in this hotel two nights with a small group tour of 18 people in early June. This hotel has a great location by the river and it's easily walkable to sights and restaurants. The breakfast was the best of our tour - everything you could want, and good quality. I did not eat at the restaurant otherwise.|| I was a bit frustrated because I had to switch rooms due to the ventilation not working. However the staff moved me promptly and once settled it was fine. It's sort of strange to only have windows into the atrium and not outside the hotel but it's fine since I was out and about all the time. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.

The hotel location was wonderful for walking to the Old Town Bridge and the Nidaros Cathedral. The hotel serves an excellent breakfast and also there are charming good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and professional. However, we had one of the nicer rooms and it was dark and the hotel felt a little tired.||Additionally, the parking is a challenge. The lot immediately in front of the hotel is a Pay lot costing about $57 USD per day.

All in all it was best experience 5 days for us. The rooms are clean everyday except if you don't want to . The Turkish guy( sorry we forget to ask his name) at the breakfast buffet was very friendly and pleasant. The buffet has a variety of delicious foods and drinks. The only thing that was missing a little is the receptionist failed to informed us that there is two breakfast time (that it changes during weekdays ) we are not season travellers that hop from hotel to hotels. We also don't open a tv so an info from the reception on the time of check in is very vital. So far the over all stay in Radisson blu is the best.

This was a good choice we made in our trip to Trondheim. Nicely situated in calm and quiet environment to many attractions of the city, public transport, wonderful restaurant area and many other hubs. We arrived as early as around 1200 than we expected unfortunately we had to wait until 1500 for check in which is regular I guess. There are many nice coffee shop in the area across the bridge which we enjoyed while waiting. Nice waiting, working and chilling seating are around reception. Room was stirring and immaculate. Filled with coffee and tea. Nespresso machine with capsules for your disposal. Minbar with easy alcohol, soft drinks and snacks. Bed and seating was comfy and window overlooking the river. Only amenity was gym and quite satiating for a hotel with table tennis table as well. We looked around the 26 North Bar to grab a drink and enjoy the dinner which unfortunately closed as it was on Sunday. to be constructive, I would say to put a sign to show that the “ bar is close on Sunday”. then we don’t need to look around to make sure it’s open or not as even receptionist was not aware that it’s open or close. Anyway there are plenty of nice restaurant in the other corner across the bridge. Place called “ solesiden” It was a pleasant stay and I would recommend for your next trip to Trondheim.

I won't give even one star to the service because a receptionist (unfortunately I don't remember her name) treated us terribly. She told us that our room wasn't paid for and we showed her the payment receipt confirming that our travel agency had made the payment (it was a business trip). She treated us with disgusting superiority throughout, she even asked us if we spoke English, all because my colleague and I looked at each other thinking, what do we do now if everything is in order and this woman doesn't want to give us the rooms. In the end, she told her coworker to let us through, as if she was doing us a favor. Today, a month later, they charged the room to our card (which they had because they charged us a few cents for check-in, which they later refunded). I think if you work in customer service, you should have a minimum of kindness and manners.

The room provided to me on arrival felt very small and claustrophobic as the curtains were not opening easily ,spent the first night trying to adjust but next day couldn't tolerate and requested front desk for help and they obliged by providing a great room. Thanks to them. ||However one area of improvement is for having some Vegetarian Food in buffet breakfast menu, we found it very limiting.

Yelp
Very nice interior. Clean and well kept. The parking is very tight. And expensive, 400 kroner 40$ us. Also the rooms were warm, too warm. And you could not adjust the temperature. When the fan was put on full it still felt like no air was moving in the room. The bed was comfortable but also too warm with no sheet. I ended up throwing the quilt on the floor and sleeping with the mattress cover as a sheet. The location is nice for walking around town though. And the extra cost of the room will hopefully save you money in taxis if that's your thing.

Yelp
This place looks like it was nice about 10 years ago....but it's run down and shoddy now. Wallpaper peeling, paint chipping, furniture dingy...but worse is that the internet kicks you off about 30 times a day and you have to get your room key reprogrammed after each time you use it. I'm giving it 3 stars, though, because the staff is so incredibly nice and helpful and the location is excellent. Apparently they are undergoing renovations - but they should think about closing it while they do it - as it's super loud during the day.

Yelp
Light filled clean and modern hotel in the heart of Trondheim. The whole place is made of glass so there are great views of Nidelva and the historic wharf buildings. Of course, during the bright summer nights the blackout drapes were very handy to block that view! There is a delightful buffet breakfast included which extends over several rooms with breads, pastries, eggs, sausages, fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses. Too many things to try!! Desk staff speak perfect English and thy were very helpful with all kinds of tourist assistance. Great hotel!!

Yelp
I'm kind of puzzled why nobody has written a report on this establishment but all right, this is gonna change now. The Radisson is a pretty nice hotel near the water. We got a room for three which made the whole thing affordable. In the hotel, there are a couple of goodies you would want to have: Free WLAN, free coffee and a nice TV, for those, who need that. Breakfast is included, and it is pretty descent. There is even fresh orange juice on the rocks included. :-) The building looks lovely so I would always come back here. Oh, there is even a little gym and a sauna. The pool was under construction when we arrived. So, give it a try, I'd say: 4.2
