Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin

I highly recommend this hotel in Dublin. It is located right in the city center, making it extremely convenient for visiting attractions, exploring the Temple Bar area, and shopping—all within a 15-minute walk. The hotel service was outstanding. Every hotel staff were very warm and attentive. Our room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was their kindness when I needed help. After I sprained my ankle, the front desk staff brought ice packs to my room three times. I was truly touched and grateful for their care and responsiveness. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin!

Wonderful place to stay, top notch service, room quality, and location. Short walk from Temple Bar, Camden, Drury, and Grafton. Velvære Spa is attached to the hotel, with discounts available for the guests. Book the spa before you go to enjoy it while you stay, they can fill up quickly. The concierge staff here was incredibly helpful, special praise to Maddy for being so kind and helpful when I needed it! Will be staying here again!!

We are very disappointed with the customer service. First, we had a problem with the breakfast, it was told that we would have to pay for breakfast even though we had booked with breakfast included. Gladly we had photos of the booking proving that the breakfast was included so we could have it normally. And second, we booked two rooms, a twin bedroom for two adults and a family bedroom from two adults and one child. We received two twin bedrooms, meaning that the family had to sleep all together, putting the beds side by side and the child kept sinking in the middle of the beds. The room was too warm and even turning the heaters off it took a while to cold down, there is no proper ventilation in the rooms, even with the window open. There is no ambient music in the lobby or in the restaurant for breakfast, zero background sound. It can be good or bad, but from my point of view it is a lack of something. Unfortunately, our friends told us that the room was wrong only during the breakfast, so we could not change the room. No solution from the hotel was offered yet. Also, the beds have wheels which makes them to move while you use it, and we could hear noises from outside early morning. We decided to give one star overall because we could not believe what we have been through.

Great location, good service, affordable. Our room had a window (fresh air!), a bathtub, a drying line, comfortable king bed and complimentary water. The breakfast had plenty of vegan option (soy yoghurt, vegan sausages, vegan flapjack, vegan cookies, oat milk and the usual baked beans, hashbrowns etc.). There are two vegan main course options for room service, though we did not try them. We had an enjoyable stay as a family.

The breakfast and staff were excellent – friendly, caring, and the food was delicious with a huge variety (10/10). Housekeeping was also exceptional, keeping rooms spotless despite the worn furniture and dated decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, as usual for Radisson.||||Unfortunately, reception staff were rarely helpful, the online payment process was stressful, and we were initially checked into a room with another guest’s belongings. Hallways and room furnishings were old, giving the impression of a three-star property rather than a Radisson.||||While some staff truly stood out, overall the stay did not meet the Radisson standard or value for money.

Stepping into the Radisson Blu Royal means arriving in one of Dublin’s most strategic areas, positioned between St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Dublin Castle. At check-in we were welcomed with refreshing drinks in the lobby, a thoughtful and genuinely pleasant gesture after travelling and walking through the busy centre. We stayed in November 2024 and had booked the property through Agoda. On arrival, a couple of hours before the official check-in time, the room was not yet ready. Once the actual check-in window opened, the process moved smoothly and was handled with professionalism, reflecting the efficient approach of the front-desk team. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, offering practical amenities, good bedding and attentive housekeeping. Breakfast was a real highlight: excellent juices, a generous and varied selection, and a chef who prepared a personalised gourmet egg dish on request, adding a refined and memorable touch to the morning. The overall atmosphere felt versatile and well balanced; we noticed several business travellers at breakfast, yet the setting remained relaxed, quiet and perfectly suitable for families too. With the Cathedral, the Castle and Temple Bar all within a few minutes’ walk, the hotel works extremely well as a central base for exploring Dublin on foot. A reliable and well-run property in the heart of the city.

I have to say I have been staying at this hotel on a regular basis for work for over 3 years. On arriving the reception staff are so helpful and always have a great welcome for me. (Dorian, Evan and the rest of the gang)|The staff are so friendly and obliging. Pratima,Christine and all the wonderful staff in the restaurant always make sure that everyone is looked after. The restaurant and bar staff(Sanito and Christ can’t remember other names ) go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and you feel at home.|My delight the other day was to see the new bar menu and it is fabulous. Something for everyone on it.|The rooms are really comfortable and clean.|It’s very convenient to Grafton Street, a lot of things within walking distance.|I would highly recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure.

⭐ Absolutely Disgraceful Experience – Avoid at All Costs My boyfriend and I stayed at the Radisson Blu to celebrate my birthday, and what was supposed to be a special occasion turned into a complete nightmare. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with disrespect. Shockingly, staff attempted to search me on arrival, which was humiliating, invasive, and completely inappropriate. No explanation, no professionalism — just an awful start to what should have been a celebration. They charged us a €380 deposit ??!!???!! We were then told our deposit would be refunded within 3–5 working days. It has now been THREE WEEKS, and we still have not received our money. Trying to resolve this has been even worse than the stay itself. • Emails are being completely ignored. • When we do get through on the phone, staff are rude, dismissive, and uncaring. • We are repeatedly told “there’s nothing more we can do”, which is unacceptable when it is their responsibility to return our money. No accountability. No communication. No care whatsoever for guests. This hotel ruined my birthday, took our money, and then chose to ignore us rather than fix their mistake. For a brand like Radisson Blu, this level of service is embarrassing. Save yourself the stress, disrespect, and financial headache — do not stay here.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and enjoyed it. Hotel was nicely located just a couple blocks away from St Patrick's Cathedral and a hop on hop off bus stop. So it was easy to get around city. Hotel room was nicely located, spacious, great beds, nice bathroom, nice view. Breakfast spread was amazing. Loved all the choices and of course the coffee machine. I would definitely stay here again when in Dublin.

I had a great stay at the Radisson Blu for a night this July. This hotel was walking distance, less than 10 minutes away from the bus stop that we had taken from the airport. It is in a convenient location nearby many tourist attractions, such as Temple Bar, Dublin's castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, etc. it was also a short walking distance to our car rental pick up at St Stephen's Green shopping centre. We booked this hotel for the first day of our trip. We arrived in the morning so our room wasn't ready for check in yet, but we were able to drop off our luggage in the lobby. This made it easy for us as we could continue exploring according to our plan (we took a 30 minute train ride over to Howth right after dropping our bags). Coming back to the hotel around 5pm, our room was ready and we were able to nap a bit before dinner. The superior room we booked was located in a renovated section of the hotel and had access to a shared outdoor patio right across from our hotel room. We didn't have time to use the patio but it was spacious and it seemed no one was using it whenever we passed by. Our hotel room was very clean, large (great for us as we had plenty of luggage) and we had two complementary water bottles in the room. We had breakfast the next morning and it was buffet style. There is a section if you want fresh made omelettes. Lots of variety I think but I stuck with the classic Irish breakfast items. So delicious and fresh! Check out process - we had a bit of a hiccup as I had given my credit card for authorization for breakfast charges when I checked in. The staff was asking for my credit card again which confused me as I had already paid. Despite the confusion, the service at Radisson was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel for fellow tourists!

The staff was super friendly during our trip there. We were seeing all the fun stuff like the Brazen Head Pub, Howth, some old castles and we had such amazing food while we were there. The TV lineup is pretty great too. The breakfast service is delicious. If you're visiting Dublin, Ireland, I recommend this amazing hotel.

Hotel staff were amazing, great location in the city center and St. Patrick's Cathedral is one block away. My husband and I spent one night here before going to Cork. We arrived very jet lagged and had a bout of food poisoning from the food on our flight. The attendant at the desk was so polite and let us check in early so we could rest and feel better. They saved our trip! The room was nice and super comfortable pillows. Would stay here again.

Service was excellent. It is in a central location and extremely convenient for somebody who would like to explore Dublin and bar hopping. However, if you would prefer a quiet space after midnight, this might be challenging if your room happens to face the street. 3/4 nights we could not sleep till 2am because of the partying going on outside. Overall would recommend!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. So much so that we ended up canceling another hotel reservation on our trip and booking this one for a second stay in the same week. Very conveniently located to many of the bars/restaurants. Staff was super friendly and accommodating (bringing in an extra bed each visit for our 3rd child). Huge, clean rooms (adjoining also for our family of 5 was really convenient). Restaurant - food was good and staff was nice. They make a great Old Fashioned! Parking was reasonable at 20 euro/night. Only downfall was that the lot underground is small, so books up easily (we lucked out by parking in a non spot and moving it into a real spot when one became available later on in the night). Not sure if we'll ever be back in Dublin, but would definitely stay here if we were to be!

Booked a room here off of hotels.com and while it's a really nice hotel at face value, few issues with it. 1. Advertised as parking available on site, yet they neglected to mention that there's a small tiny lot on site and not very many spaces available, with no other arrangements premade by the hotel for overflow. 2. Reserve a king room....you may get 2 twins instead with comforters that don't even reach end to end. Def froze the first night until they were finally able to find me a properly sized comforter. Took 2 days to resolve that issue. Would probably stay in another chain next visit to Dublin.

I had lower expectations for this place and I was pleasantly surprised. My room was modern, sleek and contemporary. The room featured darker colors and the restroom had tiled walls with a separate tub and shower. I was surprised that I did not know this was a green(ish) hotel. I had to park my room key into a slot in order to turn on the lights and the air conditioning. That being said, it was warm in the room at first. I was surprised that after I removed the room key from the slot that the lights and A/C turned off so it needs to reside in the lot while you are in the room. The restroom had a remote TV speaker above the tub and both the tub and the shower had hand-held (or mounted) wands. My only gripe about the restroom is the water was cycling hot and cold. The room had nice accent lights, and cool décor. The bed was comfortable and the curtains kept the light out of the room while sleeping. There is a refrigerator, a safe and coffee supplies in a cabinet. There is plenty of room in the closet to hang your clothes. I did not eat at the restaurant here but I did use the parking garage which features really small parking spaces like the rest of Dublin. The staff was friendly and even let me check my bags early so that I could explore the city prior to checking in. I would definitely stay here again.

The main issue I had was with the air conditioning. My stay was in July so the room got quite hot, but the AC system couldn't be set properly. The air kicked in but only briefly. The first night I had to get up every hour to get it to kick back on. The next day the front desk sent maintenance up. He was helpful but his conclusion was that the newer HVAC system didn't work well with the antiquated control panels so I had to deal with another hot uncomfortable night. I feel like I paid a lot of money for 2 nights of very poor sleep. On check out the front desk told me "that happens sometimes"

Went here for my 5th year anavasary , have stayed every year and again amazing time from time I arrived untill I left The rooms are so nice , all mod cons , bathrooms so clean and nice , bed very comfortable. Got room service and was lovely , fish and chips , burger very nice , good service too wasn't waiting to long Breakfast next day was amazing as usual , everything you want , all fresh and top quality Staff great lovely and friendly couldn't do enough Best hotel in Dublin location , cleanness, amenities and service !

I was researching places to stay in Dublin and this hôtel checked all the boxes. Good location, near St Patrick's Cathedral. Reception staff very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We ate at their bar/ restaurant after many long touring days. Food was good.

The hotel is lovely. It seems to be brand new. Rooms are large and clean with luxurious finishes. The breakfast is a large buffet and includes traditional Irish options. The location is great, it is within 5-10 min walking distance to Stephen's Green, Trinity College, Grafton Street and is right next to Dublin Castle. Really enjoyed our short stay here! We were in room 123 and there was no street noise.

If I was a hotel developer, I can't say that Golden Lane would have been my first choice to put a hotel. It's admittedly not that far of a walk from a lot of large tourist draws. It's just on the so called wrong side of the tracks, the area is grim and filled with lots of concrete and dirt. It's not the most appealing and if I pulled up in my taxi after booking the hotel I'd be a bit disappointed. That said the actual hotel itself is fabulous. It's luxury at its finest and the rooms are actually quite reasonable for the standard you're getting, coming in at around €130/night. Adding to the luxury there's also a fanchy smanchy French restaurant and a series of even more luxurious bars. Despite my earlier complaints about the location, my mind would quickly forget about the outside world upon entering.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Just a stones throw from George's St and five minutes walk to Stephen's Green, you are getting a city centre location in a quiet area. The bar is lovely and open and it's a nice place to enjoy a few drinks. The décor is cool and modern and with floor to ceiling windows, it's lovely and open. They serve bar food too. The rooms are very much in keeping with the style of the hotel - cool but yet classical. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends when they are coming to visit.

Probably my favorite hotel we visited in Ireland on our tour. The property is centrally located in downtown Dublin, which makes walking to the tourist attractions very easy. The rooms are beautiful and very well cleaned. However, my view was of another building. Not to be unexpected when staying in a city. Breakfast was pleasant and provided a good start to the morning. Staff was also very nice and open to answering questions about the local area. Would certainly visit again when in Dublin.

It's a great hotel for any occasion. This hotel offers really good housekeeping, counter, breakfast and general services. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and always offered courtesy water and chocolates (which were delicious). We were able to book our trips inside and out of Dublin at the counter. They were really helpful and the company's offered as well. For business trips is a really good place, for which it has strong WiFi service al throughout the hotel and rooms.

The two times we have visited Dublin, we have stayed at the Radisson. It is a very nice and modern hotel. Everyone that we have interacted with has been very helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are cool and spacious!

The Radisson Blu was exactly what we needed it to be but not any more than that. The hotel was in a fairly central location for exploring Dublin (easy walking distance to St. Patricks Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar district, Trinity College, and Christchurch Cathedral). The reception was courteous and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had some courtyard area directly outside our window. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice hotel room; however, there was nothing that made it feel special or higher end like you would expect a Radisson to feel. The Radisson Blu Royal (not to be confused with the airport location) is a solid option if you're looking for something simple and in the heart of Dublin. 3 stars.

We had a pre-cruise stay in Dublin to take full opportunity to explore the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. With a prime location, modern updated facilities, the Radisson supplies all of the ingredients for a pleasant stay in Dublin. The staff is helpful, the included breakfast was more than adequate. If it is during a hot spell, this hotel has excellent air conditioning that could weigh even more in its favor.

This Raddison Blu is certainly convenient to travelers needing to stay at the Dublin airport. Their shuttle runs every 15 minutes and the trip to the terminals takes about 2 minutes. However, do not expect great comfort. I've stayed twice and had problems with my room both times. On my first stay, there was no hot water in the shower. The walls were thin and noise from neighboring rooms disturbed my sleep. On my second stay, the shower water temperature fluctuated from hot to cold; I couldn't control the temperature. The room was generally under-lit, and to add to the problem both the ambient and the reading lamp on one side of the bed did not work. Most problematic was the stench in the bathroom. The bathroom was clean, mind you, and the the odor emanated from the plumbing. It smelled like sewer gas. Of course, I'm no stranger to smells in bathrooms. But maybe best when the odor doesn't assault you BEFORE you use the bathroom:-) Staff were friendly and apologetic. They asked why I didn't request a room change and I explained that using my narrow window for sleep was more important than re-packing and changing rooms. They offered no mitigations.

If I had to describe this place properly it would probably be called the 'un-rad' radisson! It wasn't that anything was terribly poor - but everything was very very average. What made it worse was that everywhere you move there's literature or the TVs with ads on bigging themselves up for being awesome... Here's my snag list: Camp bed left in my room upon arrival with old duvets on top Breakfast supposedly 19 euros usually (they did me the "special" rate of 12 which I'm sure is on all the time) Cheap nasty ketchup at breakfast, no Heinz Old fuzzy TVs in room, remote was battered and auto changing channels Air con switches itself back on after time off Dreadful generic pop music on in lobby bar very loud Very average beers in bar Gym isn't in hotel, you have to walk down road to affiliate one. Just a very tired and generic look everywhere

This review is for the on-site restaurant VnV. I've been to the VnV restaurant a few times but this time I was here with a Groupon voucher. VnV is located inside the Radisson Hotel just off George's Street and although very central, doesn't get many walk-ins so it's never really busy. The décor is modern and chic, I like the big booth-style leather seats and the idea of having a view into the kitchen. The staff is usually friendly but a little reserved. Modern French is what they advertise but I would say it's more modern European than just French. They have regular changing menus and when I checked their latest one, I decided to buy a voucher. When we got there however, the menu was different with only a few dishes to choose from. I understand that many place have fixed menus for voucher bookings but this one had 3 starters and 3 mains (1 meat, 1 fish, 1 vegetarian) only. This was falsely advertised on the deal website. We ordered wine and got a bread basket with 3 small pieces of white bread, some butter and roasted garlic. I remembered the bread basket to have not only way more in it on previous occasions but also a different selection; soda bread, small multiseed rolls etc. My starter was slow cooked duck with some lettuce on the side, my partner had pork terrine with was too cold to eat. Like 'back of the fridge cold'. I had the salmon as a main which was prepared in the oven, no noticeable flavours unfortunately. The steak was cooked as ordered but the meat quality wasn't the best. We didn't bother with deserts or coffee. I paid 39Euro for the voucher for 2 starters and 2 mains. It wasn't really good value looking back at it now. I'm not sure how much this combination of dishes would've been without the deal but it certainly wasn't worth what we paid for it.

Met my aunt here for lunch yesterday as she was visiting and since it was lashing rain we decided to eat in the restaurant/bar downstairs. They offer a "flexi bowl" lunch, a lot like Alfie's on South William Street. Choose one each from a list of starters, mains and desserts, little portions of each. Sounds promising, read promising... I chose nachos with chilli beef and cheese (from mains), chicken skewers with couscous (from mains) and watermelon with lemon, honey and mint from the desert list. My aunt had the same except opted for a shredded chicken salad instead of nachos. The chilli beef on the nachos was neither chilli nor hot temperature wise. Stone cold in fact. The cheese was melted so it's as if they grilled it cold or prepared it and let it go cold. The salsa over it was fresh, but packed with chopped raw garlic - not good! The chicken skewers were lovely. Piping hot, tasty and the accompanying Couscous was nice, with some grilled veg through it but again that overpowering garlic dense salsa. The dessert - watermelon, and a hint of honey! No lemon or mint that I could see or taste! The 3 dishes were €10 but even though cheap, I would have expected higher standard. We had a bottle of wine and our bill came to €46.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great central location in Dublin. Staff is extremely helpful and nice. We had a business suite, and it was large, spacious, and very clean. The bathroom was huge for European standards! It had a full tub and separate shower. We got complimentary water and movies. Plus a Nespresso coffeemaker and fridge in our room. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed! It had a large spread with too many choices. Typical Irish breakfast offerings such as eggs, bacon, black & white, and beans were available. Toast, scones, irish bread, croissants, pastries were in great abundance. Cold cuts, cereals, juices, smoothies--just a lot of food! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will revisit on my next trip to Dublin!

If you are here for vacation fine. But business was a joke. Internet was spotty and outright down most of the time. I have a small but useable Vodafone 3G to write this. Linens, room quality, bathroom, decor all that jazz - 4 stars. But I can't get work done in my room and have to stay in the lobby to get a connection. In this day and age that's not acceptable. I also hate the login process, when and if it works. I came here for business and I'm in tech. I'd guess, possibly incorrectly, that we represent a larger slice of their demographic so on that basis this place was a huge fail.

Someone once told me that I expect too much from those I do business with be it at the local fast-food location to a five star hotel. It is that I believe one should get what they are paying for in all matters. That was put to the test here and they passed with flying colours. The staff was fantastic after a slight issue on a arrival day (hence four not five stars). The location is perfect for the avid business traveler or the expressive tourist. More over it was CLEAN, CLEAN and shall I say it again CLEAN. I was at a Four Seasons in Paris earlier that was just NOT. Overall for a capital visit this should be your choice.

I stay at this hotel regularly on business when I'm in Ireland. The service is wonderful, food in great in the main restaurant, staff is as friendly as can be. It caters to a business client. It's close to city centre but far enough away not to have the noise. I've stayed in the best hotels in Dublin. This is my favorite, by far.

I stay here every time I come to Dublin. Can someone let me know how the Hotel is coping with this pandemic? I will be planning another trip in January 2022, so I hope to be stay at your hotel

Our room was quite nice and the location was pretty great. The staff all seemed very nice and accommodating. They brought up an extra rolling bed for our child and helped with anything else we needed. We ordered breakfast items from their lobby quick menu and it was reasonable. They more than made up for a minor issue with the meal. I can't give a full 5 stars because it was too hot at night. The air conditioning was confusing to operate and seemed to stop working. We were unsure if it was malfunctioning or if the hotel was trying to be stingy and keep us from using it. We were also a little disappointed that they have a pool for guests to use, but it's not on the premises so we did not take advantage of it due to the inconvenience.

Booked this hotel to stay at in Dublin. I loved the fact that when you leave everything turns off until you put your key card back in. Very environmentally friendly that way! The bathroom was gorgeous. It had a stand up shower as well as a whirlpool type tub. They gave us slippers and robes to wear as well. The room also had a coffee machine that they stocked daily for free! It was great. This is also at a good location where you can pretty much walk to any museum or attraction. When we booked the hotel we called the manager directly to see what kind of deal we could get and she got us free breakfast every morning which was delicious. They had nutella everywhere haha which is my favorite. Definitely a great place to stay!

Good business hotel - with a nice buffet breakfast. The room prices are surprisingly more expensive on M-F than on Sat or Sun, which is relevant to their core customer but still - perhaps a tourist might check this out for a weekend as it's quite near Temple Bar. The rooms are large and include a very nice shower stall, soaking tub, many mirrors to check your look before you go out, and free good-quality wifi. The only consideration is, if your powered-item is about to die and you're leaving to get a bite, remember that when you leave and take your room key out of the switch, the power goes off. Charge your items when you're in the room, don't be a space cadet like me. The location is very fine, as many people have mentioned, as it's just off of several large streets but is in a quiet spot that doesn't even see much foot traffic.

This review is just for their meeting facilities. The rooms themselves are good, big & spacious. The particular room I was in had floor to ceiling windows and although the view was just a lane way it was bright which was useful for the training course we were on. The staff weren't very available to us. I had some technical issues & couldn't track anyone down to help resolving them. Even on going to reception & having them call the events team. This resulted in our event running 5 minutes late from the start of the day - not ideal & doesn't make us look very professional. The food at lunch was fine, soup & sandwiches. I've had better at other venues but I've certainly had worse.

Got to the hotel 2 hours after check in time and reception desk said that it would take 30-45 minutes to get our room because of clean up. Completely unacceptable especially given the fact we reserved the room days prior. Felt like I was at a cheap 2 star Vegas casino motel. I recommend Maldron Dublin hotel instead. WiFi is terrible too.

Like a fairytale castle, this Radisson popped up a couple of years ago, a beacon set against the council flats and uninspired concrete of Golden Lane. Inside it is very modern chic, with low set couches and tables, which can be a bit of a pain to eat your lunch off, but do very well for intimate conversations after 6pm. The bar is pricey enough but it does whip up some delicious cocktails.

This was a great place to stay. Walking distance to all the dublin spots and eateries. Very clean and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet which is complimentary when staying in the junior suite. Junior suite has 1.5 baths, bedroom and living space. Highly recommend.

Excellent choice of local flavors and a decent European selection of dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. I had a two course dinner. The salmon was tasty.

Stay here! It's an awesome hotel! Centrally located - near all of the main attractions (all well within walking distance). Rooms are in excellent condition- clean, spacious, nice design, and very modern bathrooms. The team working is also excellent! Everyone we've encountered at the front desk, bar, etc have been wonderful. Especially Connor at the front desk... He's fantastic!!!! We will definitely be coming back to this hotel. Can't say enough good things about it!

Great location and the upgrade to the business class room was nice, but no breakfast included on a points redemption kind of blows. Two other Radisson Blus we stayed at in Ireland (Farnham Estate and Galway) included breakfast without charge. I would definitely stay again but throw in a free breakfast you cheap blokes!

My wife and I travel often and love the city of Dublin with the exception of our stay at the Radison Blu. From the start the staff seems unorganized and uncaring. We were not allowed to check in one minute earlier then 3 o'clock which is understandable when a hotel is busy. Once we finally got to our room it was clear this room was not occupied before. The TV was not connected, Mini Bar was completely empty, no blow dryer and a few other missing amenities. Called down to have the TV hooked up, the gentlemen that arrived was very nice but had no idea about setting the TV up. After a half hour of us both connecting wires and moving the TV my wife and I could finally relax. Except that CONSTANT construction could be heard at all times of the day and night. We will not be returning to this Hotel any time soon.

I was parking outside this hotel in the disabled parking bay as I have a prosthetic leg when the doorman/security ran up to me. In front of shocked onlooking tourists this man aggressively roared at me and two of my friends accompanying me "are you disabled!" . This is Without a glance at my car window where there was clearly a national disabled badge in full display. The bus driver even stated to the hotel worker that I had the badge on display as he stormed toward me in a rage. The doorman/security proceeded to bluntly ignore covid guidelines and got right up into my face asking me "how am I disabled?". As I was in shock and after a long journey to which I was in pain due to the pressure on my leg I simply answered the question. "I had cancer and had to have my foot amputated, I have a prosthetic foot". After I embarrassingly had to explain why the government of Ireland allows me to park in Public Disabled parking this man continued to be in my face in an aggressive stance and said "yeah...that's okay". This man never even apologized for his behavior and put a big dampener on my day. I should not have to be publicly embarrassed and explain myself to use public disabled parking. If this is how the staff of this hotel treat people then I will never recommend it to anyone.

I was in the Raddison for training. While the staff were excellent, the technology worked perfectly and the facilities were great, I did note that the food provided at the breaks and lunch was not quite enough for everyone. The portions were a bit too small, to the point where the average person would take two pasteries rather than one. Maybe something to consider for future events.

But I am not here to discuss the complexities of women.. I a here to talk about the food. The voucher my accomplice for this yelp operation had acquired entitled us to a free set menu two course meal. Nevertheless, we dressed accordingly. However, due to the flimsy nature of the more regrettable choice of female undergarments and 'summer wear', my partner's 'tights' sprung another petite hole only big enough to squeeze ones tongue perhaps... However, it began to expand at an exponential rate. The increased fear of being seen partially naked in public began to bubble and fume eventually becoming unavoidable in the mind of my terrified sidekick, so much so that the sweating and pink coloration of her now raspberry like face became overwhelming. She attempted to slip a fresh pair from her 'Tardis rules' lady wallet, but I saw the hand go under and expected as much based on my awareness of her visibly increasing panic levels. Suddenly she glitched and return to a normal sitting, I whipped round and saw that the waitress was coming our way and my petite pink raspberry's discretion was about to be tested.. The waitress talked a load of bolox as usual but thanks to a recent research into the benefits of meditation, I was able to employ my new found wisdom and tune out her high pitches Missouri accent and focus on the reading of the menu without her knowledge. A simple nod and yes/no can convince any women that you are fully listening at all times, but occasionally you must throw in the last few words they said repeated back to them or they will try to trip up your cunning ploy to reveal your true bordom. We ordered and I waited while a fidgety Mr. Bean at the beach episode was being rehearsed across the table from me.. Eventually She changed her tights and the show continued as normal. Pre-starters came with the first of many glasses of wine that would follow before retirement. A practical piece 'du pain, and a whole roasted garlic cut length ways was a simple and satisfying but inviting choice of aperitif that would be betrayed by the latter.. Next, our starters came out and so did a laugh I could not contain followed by the held back tears of disappointment as the reality of the situation became known.. My pork belly on a green lentil bed looked more like a small cube of bone pale jelly being carried by a mouthful of commando beetles. I did my best to extend the sustaining power of this sad 'meal' by cutting it into even smaller cubes but I was still not even close to refueling. I glanced across the vast white tablecloth expanse full of pointless obstacles that stood in the way of my woman who looked equally distasteful- mirroring that expression of one who has been sucking on a lemon. Her soup was forged from celery of which we all know is the Judas of the vegetable kingdom. 90% water, we might as well be eating bowls of lies with the large wooden spoon Bono would rejoice at handing to us given the opportunity. It eventually our riveting conversation that was to be the sauce that made the meal bearable. And so we began again our patient waiting with glass number nine at this stage of Chardonnay for the final battle of Man Vs. Dinner. The pitiful sack of terrified bones that called herself a waitress wobbled over to us on her bulimic inflicted Missouri heels and smiled with the tension of a thousand medevil thumbscrews. Her hands that looked like clingfilm stretched over wire dangerously balanced two plates. On the right, my 'medium' steak balance on no more than 6 grease soaked chips in a feckless americanized attempted tower upon which perched high above the plate, the 'alternative' beetroot paste looked down at my bemused expression. On the left, A duck confit in the form of a cylindrical potato column mounted by a batter skin engrossed meat-assumed to be the duck. The situation soon became exacerbated by my curvy dining partner due to a dissolved appetite following prior starter dissipation. The over indulgence left her with a full pink belly and an unfortunately avoidable forfeit in the game of food. I continued on alone and ate all of my six chips, the steak which looked like fresh salmon on the inside and the beetroot paste which could have passed for shredded christmas cards. I also salvaged what I could from my accompanying gorgeous food fanatic's plate- whom I know will not persecute me after she reads this now as she understands my mannerisms are not distastefully intended....However, i have run out of space to write the end of this review so must conclude, if it were not for alcohol and good company, I would have left the Radisson unfulfilled, and would have to of written a bad review. **

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip to all over Ireland. It's stylish, modern, CLEAN!, and comfortable, and with free and very fast (20mbps) wi-fi. It's distanced enough from Temple Bar that you won't hear drunks all night long, but it's close enough that you can walk a few blocks to find lots of great food and attractions in almost any direction. The bathroom was super nice, with a huge, deep bathtub and a separate rainfall shower. Definitely more luxurious than I'm used to. Nearby attractions include St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, Temple Bar, the River Liffey, and The Spire -- all must-sees in my opinion, and walking distance. I rented a car at Dublin airport and drove to the hotel, but didn't end up using the car at all in Dublin thanks to the close proximity of everything and the hop-on hop-off tour buses. But, I needed the car to drive around the rest of the country. Luckily, parking underground below the hotel was just €10 per day for guests, which is incredibly cheap. If you're looking for some snacks, there's a Tesco store nearby. They also sell SIM cards and top-ups. If you're staying here awhile, I recommend grabbing some road trip food, getting out of the city, and heading down to the Wicklow Mountains, ideally leaving before dawn and arriving right around sunrise. It's mesmerizing and mythical. Drive slow, you'll be seeing lots of sheep in the road. It's a very short drive, but you'll want a full day to explore. One word of caution: the fridge doesn't have any extra room for your personal things, and if you move anything out of position, you'll automatically get hit with a charge for it. But they'll happily remove the charge at the front desk if you need the space.

The rooms were very clean and nice looking. However it was difficult to catch a cab right out in front since the street that it's on isn't that busy. This was quite miserable especially when it was raining (which is always the case in Dublin!!). I was also a bit disappointed with the unwillingness of the front desk employee to assist me on certain matters. Maybe I expected more because I had just come from the Westin which had over the top, amazing service? (But we were also paying for it there!). Anyway... I'd consider staying here again with the understanding that this is just a nice room to stay in.

One of the very few places open in Dublin on Christmas Day! We wanted a place to grab an Irish Coffee and a bite to eat, and the Sure Bar got the bill perfectly! Very comfortable, casual, and decorated nicely for Christmas. Free wifi and polite service too.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and we loved it! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is great! they have a lot to chose from. The restaurant down stairs has a great menu! I am still craving their salmon and zucchini appetizer dish =) Their rooms were very clean. They had white linens on the beds and the bathrooms were super clean. I highly recommend this hotel. My only complaint would be that this hotel is too expensive!

As a native dubliner, from portobello, who only left 2yrs ago and was returning for Christmas I knew the location of this hotel was what i wanges. Away from the maddening crowds yet within 5min walk of everything you want to be near. I'd never been in the rooms but knowing how young the hotel was I guessed they'd be fine. The price was also very reasonable. Checkin was painless and our room was just want we wanted if a little toasty. I switched on the AC to 15 degrees (60f) to try cool it down and off we went out for the night. We got back at 3am and the room was 33 degrees (96f)! We called reception who informed us it was broken and pumping out hot air. We were moved and assisted with our move however the new room location was on the 1st floor with a miserable view, however at this stage it was 4am so we just took it. The next day we went shopping and meeting friends and returned around 5pm only for our room not to be attending to by housekeeping. We asked for a service and went back out. Upon returning approx 8.30pm we realised all we received by way of making the room up was fresh towels. Not even used glasses were removed or bed made. We'd a couple more incidents like this and yet no one mentioned anything to us by way of apology, no comp drinks or breakfast one morning... Nothing. Would I return? Yes if the rate was excellent otherwise it's back to The Westbury we go. For the extra $$$ you're truly treated like a guest and this is where the radisson lacks.

This is a lovely hotel. I spent two nights here while traveling in Ireland and found the staff and service delightful. I was upgraded on arrival to a business class room and found it very comfortable. This Blu certainly ranks up there with the other Radisson Blu hotels around the world, and I've stayed in many. I was nervous about staying here given some of the negative comments, but I'm glad I did. I had a very positive experience at a top rate hotel. Service and location are outstanding.

The design and the amenities in room were modern and relatively new. The staff was very polite and kind and were ready to help with Little issues I had to stay. Overall the room and the hallway was clean. The continental breakfast was pretty decent. There was a wide variety of food and drinks. The bar has okay food. This is closely located to the tourists attractions and the city center.
