Radisson Blu Style Hotel, Vienna

We have just returned from a two night stay with our two children (7&9) at the hotel and it was fabulous. We are so pleased we chose this hotel - the location is perfect. Right next to Cafe Central which marks the actual centre of the city. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious with the children having their own room with two beds and my husband and I having a king. The bathroom was enormous and we were so surprised at how quiet the hotel was given the central location. We were able to walk to the Rathausplatz christmas market without any moaning from children and we accessed the horse and carriage ride just down the street. Perfect and we will definitely be back!

Great location, in centre of Vienna. I stayed in a twin room with my sister for 3 nights. Visited the nearby Christmas markets which were a real treat. The Spanish Riding School was just a few minutes walk away, experienced an interesting morning there. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, and we could watch the ever expanding queue for Cafe Central from the breakfast room. There was a mix up with payment when we arrived but this was sorted out pretty quickly and without fuss. All in all, a very comfortable and convenient stay, and we would cheerfully return

Excellent location. Steps away from the famous Cafe Central. Walked to 3 Christmas markets in 15-20 minutes and also saw all of the city center decor. Easy 20 min car ride to train station. Really friendly, helpful front desk staff. Large, basic room for a good value.

Terrible Experience for €600 Per Night I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. Despite the exorbitant price of €600 per night, the conditions were far below acceptable standards: 1. Unbearable Heat: The rooms were unbearably hot, with no way to adjust the temperature. It felt like a sauna, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. 2. Old and Damaged Furniture: The furniture in the room was old and falling apart. The curtains were dirty and had holes in them, giving the room a shabby appearance. 3. No Soundproofing: The lack of soundproofing was shocking. It felt like sleeping next to a garbage processing plant—constant banging, noise, and disturbances throughout the night. Between the unbearable heat and the noise, sleep was completely out of the question. For such a high price, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience was far from what I would expect from a hotel at this price point. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and relaxing stay. Rating: 1/5

I would have given this a top rating had the staff not failed so badly in communicating that he water supply was to be shut off on the morning I checked out. They apparently put an A4 sized piece of paper outside the lift in reception area the night before. It was not obvious to me or anyone else and I know very many guests did not see that notice. The correct action would have been to put a note under every guest room door during the night to warn guest properly. As a consequence, instead of showering I had to wash my self as best as i could using a complimentary33cl bottle per night for a room. You must do better!!

Good hotel, located in the Alstadt and within handicapped walking distance to the Rathaus and Stephansplatz Christmas markets. The hotel is literally across the street from the tourist magnet Central Cafe and you can observe the lines while enjoying breakfast. The horse carriages pass frequently and the clip-clopping hearkens to earlier days.

Must have been more than 10 years since we stayed at this hotel. Not much has changed since then. Yes, there are obviously a need for refurbishing. |This will be done i 2026 if all goes well. |That said, the location of the hotel could not be more spot on. Heart of Vienna actually. Easy to reach by taxi from the airport-60 Euro. |The staff is very forthcoming and attentive. Breakfast is as expected and the bar and restaurant delivers. |We experienced some challenges with the heating, all fixed, the gym is a bit small compared to hotel size. Housekeeping did a good job throughout our stay. |Perfect hotel for a few days in Vienna, we do look forward to the refurbishment of the hotel.|Ps only 5 second walk to Central Cafe- a true gem.

This hotel has a great location! However, the conveniences end there. To Start with, upon checking in, they failed to tell us that the HEAT for all the rooms was not working. We froze every night! When we complained, we were only then were we told about the heating problem, and they then told us they would bring a portable heater, which never arrived. The hotel is WAY WAY overdue for a remodel. Our room contained half a love seat for a chair, and a chipped glass end table. The tiles in the bathroom has mismatched replaced tiles and the caulking was slathered around the perimeter of the shower. Hot water fluctuated greatly in the shower, and the toilet paper was so cheap and rough, that the cafes were a better option for using the restroom. The paint in the room had splotchy mismatched patches along with scuff marks everywhere. The fire alarm went off for some reason, and everyone was evacuated from the hotel into the pouring rain, until the fire department came and cleared the false alarm. No explanation or apology. The TV station had the worst selection of channels out of all the hotels we stayed at during this trip. We stayed at five different hotels in three different countries on this trip, and this hotel was far and away the worst of the bunch. So, if you don't mind a freezing outdated room, good luck to you. My advice is that is that if you booked this hotel, cancel it. If you are considering it, there are plenty of other places nearby that have heat, and up to date furnishings.

Very nice facility and extremely good personal service! Room was left not cleaned. That was because the staff thought MAYBE that we had not paid for another night which we had prior to our late night flight out of Vienna. The hotel management took care financially of their mistake., ie they were apologetic and correct! I would suggest anyone seeing this still plan on staying there.9

I'm not sure I understand why this is rated a 5-Star hotel. It is a solid 3 star. Check-in was seamless and easy. Room air conditioning was fickle... sometimes worked great, sometimes not so much. When it was hot as heck, I really needed that AC!! Service was mediocre. One day, they forgot to replenish towels. The linens need upgrading/renovating. Otherwise, the hotel has more potential! The bar staff was not too friendly. They have odd rules (no outside food at the sofa between reception and bar for "restaurant rules"). All this did was make me annoyed... no value added to hotel experience.

First problem: I booked two Premium Rooms. Upon arrival only one room was shown in their computer as reserved. It took some time to get this straightened out. Second problem: instead on getting two Premium rooms, I got one Premium and one regular room. The Premium room was larger, and had bath robes and slippers. The regular room was smaller and had no robes nor slippers. Nevertheless, I paid for two Premium rooms when I booked online. No refunds. No acknowledgement or confession that one room was a regular room. Third: At check in, they asked for my credit card. They said I won't be charged unless I took something out of the mini bar or something like that. But immediately I get a notification from my credit card company that my card was charged over $200. When I asked the clerk why I was charged, they insisted that they did not charge anything. I'm going to call my credit card company once I get back to the States. One the plus side: this hotel is centrally located and is minutes from most sites in all directions.

Rich in history and clean rooms with an excellent location in old town on a outside shopping square. Next to casino with Texas Holdem tournament and 1 cash game at night

Great location with an odd check in procedure where you sit at a desk as you would for an all inclusive resort. Good location in the heart of the old city. Nice bar, nice room, good for the quick stay that we had. Pity we couldn't stay longer.

This is the first one we had to use the Metro, but it was 2 minutes to a stop, so no worries. The hotel is VERY COOL. The ultra hip vibe from the lobby and bar will immediately let you know you are in a boutique style hotel that is from a chain. You will be able to get from place to place very easy in Vienna, so enjoy the hotel and the large screen in the bar should you need a TV for something. Pros: Room size and A/C. Staff were very helpful, along with bartenders. Great value for location which is close to all sights. Cons: No free water or breakfast, so that adds a decision in AM. Recommend: Absolutely, for the price and the location I can't imagine doing any better.
