This place is awesome. It’s in a great location, right between the CN Tower / Rogers Center and Lake Ontario. There’s a great sports bar in the building (Shoeless Joe’s) and a pizza place next to it (Mammas Pizza). Across the street are the Amsterdam Brewery, which has a great patio overlooking the lake and a beer store, and Value Buds, which enhanced the experience. ||Outside our room’s window was a direct view of the CN Tower, which is awesome at night. The room was clean and pest free, and the beds were comfortable.||Breakfast isn’t free, but it’s served on the fifth floor with a terrific view of the lake by the pool, which justifies the cost. There’s a coffee shop in the lobby that makes good breakfast sandwiches if you’re looking for a cheaper option. ||The room’s dresser and night table were slightly dated, the wallpaper was peeling in a few spots and the sink in our washroom was really slow to drain, but it’s still a great spot to stay. The bathroom has cool backlit mirrors, and overall I’d give the room an 8/10, but given the location and the friendly staff, my friend and I would definitely be glad to return at some point. ||Thanks for an awesome vacation, Radisson Blu. I needed that.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and I had the pleasure of meeting the onsite manager as well , such a lovely experience! It’s no surprise that the team reflects the manager’s warm and welcoming attitude. I stayed to celebrate my birthday from Friday 10/10 to Sunday 10/12, and what stood out most was the outstanding attention to detail and care from everyone. They were incredibly kind and even left a thoughtful surprise in my room along with 2 small bottles of white wine. Truly a 10/10 experience. I’d definitely return for the exceptional service!

Our stay was amazing! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming, which made us feel so comfortable! We were celebrating my spouse’s 35th birthday and they made it very special. They decorated the room with balloons and gave us a room with a lake view! Our waiter, Paul, at The View restaurant was fantastic!!! His energy and ability to make us laugh was so heartwarming. Absolutely incredible service through and through! We are already talking about planning another trip!

Great location! Super close to EVERYTHING! Lots of parks and the railcar is always ten steps away from the hotel, as is Tim’s. Pool was closed but we enjoyed the view of the plans taking off, the police and coast guard boats and the helicopter tours. Its a very active location and for good reason. I particularly enjoyed the brewery next door which has a wonder wood fired pizza menu! The people at the desk looked confused despite me calling ahead to ensure my room was ready, maybe it’s just me. The room had a weird remote left in it and the behind bed lighting didn’t work. The soap holder was broken but soap was there and the cabinet holding the fridge was crooked so the door rubbed. The carpet in the halls was a bit gross. The cafe’s espresso machine was broken and the mugs they served my coffee and cream in weren’t the cleanest. View was nice but we decided to skip breakfast after that. This hotel defiantly could use a visit from corporate and maybe a reallocation of funds to bring it forward to this decade. Its lovely don’t get me wrong, just a bit worn out in places. They emailed me about the remote that wasn't mine to make sure I wasn't missing it, very nice. To sum it up: Awesome location Alright experience A nice and worthwhile stay for my business trip.

Google
Nice mid-level hotel. Great staff, great location. We reserved a water facing room, and we're initially pleased to get one on the top floor. However, when we arrived, the temperature in the room was 24. After almost an hour with the AC on as low as it can go, there was little change. Staff sent maintenance, who determined the compressor was not engaging. The on duty manager then got involved. She offered us another room on the top floor which was only slightly cooler, and fairly significantly smaller. We asked if there were any other options that we're more comfortable, and were offered a room on the third floor, which was even smaller. We accepted it, since it was more important to be comfortable. They offered a bottle of wine and and to comp our parking for the inconvenience, they said that the three rooms were all in the same class since one of the two nights we were staying was a points reward night.... Overall it's a good hotel with nice accommodating staff. If you want to be near the water and it's parks and attractions it's a good choice. It's regular room rates are in line with what you get.

This hotel has the best location along the waterfront. Very walkable with beautiful trails and places to sit. Restaurants are everywhere. |However, the best in the hotel, is both the staff and service. The cafe is awesome, the pool has an incredible location and our room was very comfortable and clean! We had excellent prompt service from the staff for getting a new remote and more chamomile tea! This is our first time here and we will definitely return!

Google
The location to Billy Bishop for me was #1...then the view of the water by day and the CN Tower/city views by night was a great second benefit. I loved the 5th floor breakfast restaurant and the cafe in the lobby. The location right beside Harbour Queen was perfect and it was located just 2 blocks from my meeting locations! The staff was friendly and the whole place was very clean and modern. Wished there was a full-service restaurant/bar on site but location meant there were other options

Google
We had an incredible experience. Our room was on the corner so we had an excellent full view of the water, there was so much action between the planes landing, kayakers, boats, cop boats buzzing around. We loved it. ||Very relaxing day by the pool enjoying delicious bites and cocktails. We really enjoyed the Paloma made with Espolon tequila. Service was excellent as well. ||We only live 10 mins drive away but it felt like we were in a different city, which we loved. ||Highly recommend

Yelp
The hotel was very clean and our room was very nice and spacious. The location was very close to many attractions that we were able to enjoy by walking. The front desk service people at different shifts were very nice and considerate. The gave us many recommendations for restaurants and attractions. They offered us bottles of water anytime we needed them. There was a very nice coffee shop in the lobby. The barista made us awesome coffee drinks. There are baked items available as well. There are snack breakfast to-go items as well. Total shout out to the restaurant upstairs on the 5th floor. The second night of our trip I dined in with one of my friends. The fish tacos were delicious. The fish was fried nicely and paired with a yummy vinegar coleslaw. The flavors of the coleslaw were very balanced with some acidity and sweetness. The last morning of our trip we dined in at breakfast. I had the children's pancakes with fruit. The pancakes were very fluffy and quite tasty. The coffee was very good as well. The restaurant is called The View because it has a spectacular view from inside. The service both times were excellent! The waiters were very attentive and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this beautiful hotel if ever in Toronto again.

Yelp
Amazing view of the lake on the 8th floor (pleasantly surprised as I didn't even request it). Cool to watch the planes landing at the small airport across the way. Only downfall is that you can hear the boat traffic and police substation at all hours - heads up in case you're a light sleeper. Room is big enough for me and my husband for a couple nights. Friendly, helpful staff. Awesome location - close to restaurants and a short walk from CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, etc. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. I really did. But it fell short on nearly every controllable front. To break this down... The Good: * The location is excellent. You're right on the water and pretty much in walking distance of anywhere. It's a nice part of town. * The front desk staff was pleasant during every interaction I had with them. The Bad: * I reached out to the email address listed on the Radisson website. I sent a note prior to my arrival with questions and a request and I received no response in advance or acknowledgement of that email at check-in. * Upon arrival at the hotel, I was placed in an accessible room, which I did not book into. From what I saw on the website as well, there were other rooms available so I'm not sure why I was placed there. The showers in those rooms while great for those who need them are not great for those who don't. * I requested a room change the next morning which I was given without issue, but what I wasn't expecting was to be placed into a worse room (I also have status with the Radisson too). The new room was the closest possible one to the noisy atrium area by the elevators. * Unrelated to the room, I was surprised there was no water available inside of the fitness center. The Ugly: * The bed in the new room was dirty, there was no coffee machine in the room, and the phone didn't work. * At checkout, the front desk personnel asked me how my stay was and I communicated the issues with them. While they apologized and stated if I called in after my next booking they would make sure I'd have a better room type, it didn't really address the issues. It also puts the onus back on me to re-communicate what happened and hope it works out in the future but moreover, I do not have plans to come back to Toronto. So it was a half baked solution. * Even worse, I sent an email to the GM (Nathalie Lalonde) with my concerns about the stay. I didn't ask for anything in return, but I certainly thought I would at least receive a response. I received nothing. There was a Radisson survey that came thru by email which I didn't fill out as I thought for sure I'd hear from the GM and sadly it's now expired. I wish I had given my feedback that way now in hindsight. This place fell short of pretty much any reasonable expectations and was by far the least impressive BLU property I've stayed at to date and I've been to a lot. Do yourself a favor and look for other options outside of this brand if you're planning a trip to Toronto.

Yelp
Dirty and Noisy hotel. Not worth the money. I checked in late from my long drive and the noise in the room was so bad I felt like I was next to an airplane engine. Couldn't fall asleep until 3 am. When I checked out I informed the staff who told me they would put in a "maintenance request" & they would give me free parking lol. What a joke. I had to literally sleep in my vehicle in the parking lot even though I travelled from out of the area to attend an event nearby. Shower was not cleaned properly as shown in photos. Hairs etc found in the shower. I needed to clean it down. If I wasn't so exhausted I would've left but my family crashed. Definitely won't stay there again. Disappointing & horrible experience.

Yelp
We had a great stay here. Easy access from Union Station and served by tram service. The staff were wonderful at the front desk and seamless checkin and checkout experience. We used parking for a single night and it's fine but tight for bigger cars. Hotels held our cases for the 2 days we were in Niagara. No problem recommending

Yelp
Just checked in after a long day of travel - and it's a disappointment. I'm in Toronto for a week on business. I like to try different hotels near the downtown core so I can walk to the office. First impressions of this Radisson Blu: - I'm frustrated I have to spend a week here. The place is dumpy. The area of town is a bit strange - pretty much enclosed by parking lots, the police station and some take-out restaurants. The room is small, bathroom small and dingy, closet small - definitely not enough space to hang up suits and blouses for a week. No real surface areas - my luggage is on the floor. It's a shame. It feels like a 2 star motel got a cheap facelift. This is NOT a typical corporate hotel. - The WiFi is not password protected, aka unsecured, aka definitely can't work from the hotel. I won't even log in to my work laptop with an unsecured network - very frustrating. - It's super, super loud. I hear all the doors opening and closing in the hallway. I hear the airplanes from Billy Bishop nonstop out the window. I can hear the people in the next room talking. It's soul crushing to travel all day and realize you won't get sleep overnight. - I didn't have a blanket on my bed so I called to the front desk to have one sent up - it took over 30 minutes so I just put up the "do not disturb" sign and went to sleep -- until a young kid (teenager - employee) knocked on my door yelling about the blanket. So much for do not disturb. - There's no room service at all, which doesn't surprise me now that I've seen it here, but also annoying. Overall it's abundantly clear this is not a business hotel - I'd barely say it's comfortable as the rooms don't include (to me) standard items like places to put luggage, are not sound proofed whatsoever, it's bare bones offered here. Let's see if I last the week...

Yelp
Location is great as well as is the price. Don't expect anything above the basics however. Even the internet has a basic free but if you are thinking on watching Netflix or something, you will need the "premium package". As for the room. It is very nice but has no carpeting so bring something for your feet if you are there in the winter. Staff was very friendly but they were unable to help with Travelocity's mistake of promising us a king and we end up with 2 doubles. Sheets were nice and fluffy which is pretty much the most important thing about any hotel, getting a good nights sleep.

Yelp
Pros: Stayed here for a Blue Jays series at Rogers Centre (a five minute walk), which is much better than enduring the mass exodus to Union Station after the game. Also, Ripley's Aquarium & the CN Tower are right next to the ballpark for other things to nearby. Additionally, the marina as well as a jog/bike path are just steps from the hotel. The hotel itself is very good. Quite modern (except... See Cons below..) Our room, at least, had a view of the nearby harbor. The outdoor pool on the fifth floor is a hidden gem, with an amazing view of the CN Tower. The cleaning for our room was a bit sparse, but we're not sure if it was pandemic or staffing related, so that rates as an Incomplete there, so we'll see what it's like next time. Cons: OK, we need to talk about our room's shower. There's only half a glass door, with half the shower open, so you have to be careful to avoid splashing the whole bathroom. In addition, the shower floor is quite dangerous. There's no mat on the floor, which I understand is not feasible for day to day operations. But there are no floor treads to avoid slippage nor are there any side rails inside the shower to hold on to. Something Radisson seriously needs to fix, because you literally have to hold on to the half door to avoid a fall.

Yelp
We stayed at the Radisson Admiral Hotel last night as it was the location of my husband's office Holiday party. We were very happy with the location, right on the harbour. The hotel reception is very modern, bright and clean and we were greeted immediately with smiles and words of welcome by the front desk staff. Our room was on the 7th floor and was absolutely beautiful. The light wood floors were spotless and glossy. We had a king-sized bed (lots of pillows!) and the room was decorated in a contemporary style, which is exactly to our tastes. We had a view of both the other rooms, but also of the lake (to the side). The bathroom was also spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and also plenty of toiletries and extra toilet paper/tissues. The rate was reduced because of the corporate rate, but still quite pricey. Obviously this is to be expected in such a great location. We were very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend it to others.

Yelp
Splash patio pool and terrace is located on the 5th floor of the Radisson Admiral Hotel. We found this place on Groupon where one appetizer and two main courses for 2 people came to $25. This place was a very peaceful venue, as it was facing the Lake right at the Harbourfront, and was warming with all the Christmas lights. Crispy Calamari ~ $12 AMAZING. The best calamari I've ever had. It came with cocktail sauce. The squid was cooked just right; not too rubbery or too chewy. It was definitely made fresh and was lightly crispy. AAA Striploin Steak w/ Caramelized Onions, Goat Cheese, Multigrain Ciabatta Bread & Fries ~$16 It was exactly how it was for medium rare steak, and the bread was soft. Super delicious. You could choose between fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. VIP Pizza w/ Goat Cheese, Mozzarella, Sundried Tomato, Spinach, Grilled Chicken ~$16 Honestly, really superb. The thin crust pizza was fresh from the oven and the toppings were extremely in comparison to my last experience at Boston Pizza where they gave only 2 leaves of spinach. The pool on the terrace was closed since summer was over, but that would've been quite an experience, to swim, than eat. I'm definitely coming back for that.

Yelp
Stayed here last night. Staff was super ftiendly and professional. Made me feel welcome. Gave me a room partially facing the harbour. The room was beautiful and extremely clean.

Yelp
I recently stayed at this hotel this past weekend. The location and the streets were very odd. A little hard to find and difficult to get around as well. They charge you $26 + tax for parking even if you're a guest at the hotel, which I think is ridiculous it should already be included since staying here is already really pricey. Public parking is $30. What a discount for overnight guests... The room was clean however, it had a really bad musty smell to the place. And the bed was extremely noisy. I don't think I'll be coming back.

Yelp
We enjoyed a lovely room here at the Radisson harbourside. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, clean and offered great views. The bed was heavenly and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. A bountiful breakfast was offered in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All and all a great stay.

Yelp
Went to an event here IN THE PARKING LOT. So no, I have not stayed at the hotel but yes, I did spend an entire evening in the parking lot at a branded event. Very Toronto does underground party chic. It was supppppper cool, in both vibe and temperature. They really made the place look amazing, all lit up and there was a DJ going. It was cold and we were warned to keep our parkas on. Seemed like a nice place to stay! Pretty up to date. The location is a little far from the city if you wanted a more walking around-friendly trip. But alas, could be good if you're just visiting or staying near the airport.

Yelp
Kid-friendly hotel in a superb location on the Harbourfront! My wife, two sons (10 yrs. 8 yrs.), and I just returned from a delightful 3-night stay in Toronto at the Radisson during August. By the way, street construction and renovations were finished in July 2015. So why would I stay here again if I were on a family vacation trip? First, the location is convenient for people driving a car. Self-service garage parking ($21 per night) is in the same building as the hotel. You have convenient in-out access without worrying about valets. Second, the heated outdoor pool (5th floor through the Watermark restaurant) has a lovely view of the harbour and CN tower. Third, the modern rooms have a nautical theme and include a very strong WiFi connection. Fourth, you can walk to the CN Tower or Rogers Centre (we enjoyed a Blue Jays game on our second night in Toronto) as well as the ferry for the Toronto Islands (about a 3 block walk east). Fifth, there's a Starbucks in the lobby area, a Tim Horton's on the corner, and Shoeless Joe's sports bar/restaurant that includes a kid's menu. By the way, the "Lick-It Gelato" place which is located across the street (to the right of the Rabba grocery store) will give you a 20% discount if you show your Radisson room card. Sixth, the fitness centre (on the 3rd floor) includes updated equipment. Seventh, check-in was easy and prompt - the front desk staff were helpful in answering questions. If I were on a winter business trip, the Radisson would probably not be a first choice. But for family travel in summer, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat even though breakfast is excluded from the basic room rate. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest TTC subway stop at Union Station. Not a big deal if you're on vacation with family, but for business travelers, a location closer to the financial district might be preferable.

Yelp
We stayed here for a night and was impressed with our stay. Great service and you can't beat the lake views. It's a bit of a walk to the downtown core or to the nearest subway station, but you're still within walking distance to CN tower, Rogers stadium, Aquarium, Scotia bank Arena etc. Our room was clean and well kept. The bathroom was very large and spacious and our bedroom also came with a nice fireplace. But most importantly you can't beat the nice views of the lake. I am fan.

Roli J.

Yelp
I had a staycation at this hotel that surprised me as I felt I was somewhere else. Eating breakfast in bed while watching this breathless view was pretty nice given that I didn't have to even hop on a plane for it.. also as a bonus, it was nice to always see smiling faces around the hotel. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem - I can't wait to come in the summer and lounge by the pool with a bottle of vino and feel like I'm in Miami

Yelp
Fantastic! Convenient location, lovely and comfortable. We paid a little extra for a lakeview room, which I'd totally recommend--practically a whole wall was windows, with a great view of Lake Ontario, the harbor, the islands across the way, and a small (quiet) little airport, where it's fun to watch the tiny planes take off and land all the time. After looking at photos online, I was hoping there'd be a telescope in our room...SK rolled his eyes at this, sure that the telescope we saw online was just for advertising, not for real. But I see in the other review that telescopes are, indeed, an option! Maybe just in the fancy suites. We parked in the hotel garage--$21/day isn't too bad for this kind of thing, and the garage was underground and guarded--much less extortionate (and better parking) than you'd get at a comparable hotel in, say, Chicago. Bed and bedding were super comfy (we were supposed to have an adjustable Sleep Number bed, though, and I don't think we did...maybe that's just in the fancy suites, too). No Continental Breakfast; restaurant/lounge on the 5th floor where you can get pricey Eggs Benedict (we didn't eat there, but nice to know it's there). The shampoo smelled nice, but the in-room coffee was WEAK! Street car line runs right outside, just a couple blocks from the CN Tower, the Rogers Center, and the Entertainment District. Would definitely recommend it, and go back!

Yelp
Had the best time here this weekend. Staff were amazing and very friendly! Great location - right on the harbour with beautiful views no matter which direction your room faces. Ours looked out at the CN Tower and it was incredible. Parking ramp right below the hotel - very convenient and was an unexpected albeit wonderful surprise! For the location, the price was great. Safe area for walking around, and the police station is right behind the hotel. Really recommend checking out the pool area. Gorgeous views. Always a few cabs out front which is nice if you want to head somewhere for dinner that is a little out of your walking range. Also within walking distance from countless attractions and public transit is right in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Sidenote: great gelato place on the corner across the street called "Lick It Gelato." Open until midnight if you're craving a late night sweet treat.

Yelp
While I've not stayed at this hotel, I had the very recent pleasure of visiting their rooftop pool for the day. My friend and I were looking for a place to cool off over the recent long weekend and after some online research, we found out that their pool is open to the public, for a fee. They charge $40/person on weekends and $30/weekdays for a day pass to the pool. The pass does not have "in/out" privileges, but once you're settled in a lounger alongside the pool, why on earth would you want to leave. It's wonderful...your day pass gets you towel service and bottled water. They have servers on hand to bring you whatever cocktail, beverage you desire and they also have a pretty good menu for snacks. We ordered mojitos, martinis, daiquiris throughout the afternoon, along with some deep fried calamari along with an order of bruschetta. All were delicious, all were reasonably priced. The pool is quiet and with plenty of loungers on hand, so had no problems finding a spot at which to install ourselves for the afternoon. My only criticism is the music could be a little louder, as it would add to the resort like vibe this place already has going for it. Of note, they only accept credit or debit, no cash. Pool opens at 11am.

Yelp
This is a review of the Lakeview pool lounge patio. Excellent atmosphere, attentive service, delicious frozen cocktails and decent food! It's nice and quiet on summer weekdays, with shade over the eating area only.

Yelp
Really nice place to stay. I was looking for a hotel that offered parking and this one really fit the bill. We were attending a show at the Air Canada Centre and wanted something within walking distance. Check. The parking lot is directly underneath this hotel so it couldn't be easier to get two or more convenient. The location and the view from the room was beautiful. It overlooks the CN Tower and the waterfront. The room itself was also great! Large and roomy. Very modern design. Bathrobes and slippers were a nice added touch.
google avatar

Alex D.

Yelp
The front desk staff are rude, snobby and have a superiorority complex. If you truly want friendly service - go elewhere! Perhaps the Chelsea hotel on College St, but not here. It's in a less-frequented area of the city and is a bit boring. The bad service was the icing on the cake: NEVER AGAIN.
google avatar

T J.

Yelp
Rooms are clean and nice. Staff are friendly. However, if you do not book your reservation directly with Radisson, and you use a 3rd party such as Expedia, you will not get the Radisson reward points. I stayed 8 nights and have no rewards to show for it.
google avatar

Anna V.

Yelp
The Radisson Pool is the only outdoor pool in the city that you can go to without a membership or without dealing with kids at the public ones. It costs $25 but you can put it towards their food menu. It opens at different times, like noon, but on days when it opens at 10am, you better get your butt there pronto, or all the strippers and bar bouncers who hang out there all summer, will take every last chair before you know it. It so funny to watch all the business people on a Wednesday at the Radisson for a conference looking out the glass windows to the pool and the place is just littered with peelers. Makes me giggle every time. If you're looking for a nice day in the city, the Radisson Pool is sweet. Bar, salad, sun and fun and of course, fake boobs. Can't go wrong.

Yelp
I went to Toronto for a business trip I ended up selecting the Radisson by the harbourfront for 2 nights even influencing my co-worker to pick the hotel. It was almost $200 a night. The hotel was not what I imagined especially the photos were deceptive enough I had a shock when I arrived. It was old and low-quality there was a mom-pop store on the same level as the front desk. I checked in late at night was given a twin bed room which was not what I selected I went to front desk to see if they could switch it. The lady put me on the 3rd floor facing the main street - that proved to be a disaster because the entire night there were trams flying past the hotel all night. The poorly soundproofed building and the paperthin walls I could hear all traffic including people going in and out of doors. It was an absolute joke. I did not sleep at all I called the front desk and the rudest guy told me there was nothing that could be done. So I called the agent that I booked the hotel through then the hotel was willing to switch me to yet another low floor high traffic room. To make it worse, my co-worker who booked the exact same hotel with exact same price for only 1 night was checked into the 8th floor upgraded to the lake view. He was dumbfounded by the irony that I recommended him to stay there and I was receiving the worst customer service so we went to the front desk this time they said we should have known about the tram blahblah but put me on the fifth floor one side away from the street. Also I parked my car at the garage which did not indicate how much the rate was but the public parking rate was $12 a day it turned out it was $50 for two nights! This was probably the worst hotel I ever stayed in Toronto. Poor customer service, low-quality facility and poor location - what more do I need to say?

Glenda J.

Yelp
Location is centrally located to the CN tower, aquarium and Rogers stadium. Not much night life. There seemed to be an abundance of pizza takeout places in the area. Driving here is a challenge due to the no left or right turns on Queens Quay. You need the street leading to the police station to arrive at the lobby. Just look for the Starbucks. We had a room with a partial view of the Quay. However there was some generator type unit outside our window. I woke up every time this turned on. There's a steady basey hum all the time. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. Something I thought only common in 1 star motels are gaps under the door. I could have slid a saucer underneath the door. Rooms are renovated nicely though. I loved the hardwood floors. No bath but a large shower. Coffee maker, mini refrigerator and safe. Extra pillow and blanket. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shoe shine and shower cap.

Yelp
This place was hard to find. It needs a little better signage as we kept passing it and it wasn't until we glanced in our side mirror that we saw the word Radisson at the very top of the building. Our stay here was fantastic. Comfortable bed with fantastic view of CN Tower. Location was prime and downtown was accessible via the streetcar. There is a Tim Horton's downstairs that is super convenient. The concierge rep (an older Indian man) was the absolute best. We didn't get a chance to get his name but he was always so warm, professional, and courteous. The guy working at the shop connected to the hotel, on the other hand, was very rude.

Yelp
The Radisson is lovely - the room we got had a view of both the skating rink and the road.. and as requested, we were able to get a room on the 7th floor. The room was actually a business suite I thnk.. at least from the photos I saw on the website. The room seemed to be separated into sections - with the bed on one side, then separated by a fireplace / table where the TV was on top of the fireplace... and a lounge chair on the other side. A little disconnected, but unique in it's own way. What was even more peculiar was the TELESCOPE! It was so funny - reminded me of the Simpsons episode when Homer is looking in his telescope and sees another man starring back at him doing the same thing!!!!! I love white sheets! and the bed was adjustable in firmness - on BOTH SIDES! The bathroom was fancy with towels hanging on a ladder, yes I said I ladder! There is bath tub, and a clear glass shower - straight old school showerhead - very cool. I forgot toothpaste and was so relived that the hotel had extra travel case ones. Only minor distraction is that you hear the electrical TTCs from time to time. Aside from that, I found it odd that room service came by at 6pm at night.. not quite sure, but I'm not going to dwell on it. There is a nice walking trail with lights where you can see all the boats, and in the winters be able to go to the Queens Quay skating rink before hitting some nice restaurants. 3.75*

Yelp
--STREET CONSTRUCTION GOING ON IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL, ALL ALONG QUEENS QUAY --NO RUNNING WATER FOR ONE NIGHT Despite these problems, I still had an "A-OK" stay at the Radisson. The city is pouring money into renovating the area, and the hotel can't be blamed for that. The room felt contemporary and well maintained. There is a small business center on one of the floors, where we were able to print our flight boarding passes. There is a really nice rooftop pool area with a great view of the harbour. The Radisson sits on Queens Quay W between Rees St and Lower Simcoe St. At the time of this review, Queens Quay W is only allowing one-way westbound traffic. To access the hotel by car, you have to come from Lower Simcoe and not from Rees. The hotel could have had the courtesy to tell me this before my arrival, but it didn't. The plumbing was shut off at 10PM our first night (June 18, 2014). We did not find out until AFTER we checked in, got into our room, and read the notice letter sitting on the table. The hotel could have had the courtesy to email/call me, or even tell me at the front desk when I checked in, but it didn't. (What if we checked in at 10PM?!) As far as I know, the hotel did not offer any alternate arrangement to get running water for that night. No toilet flushing. No showering. No brushing your teeth. They could have had the courtesy to offer some alternate arrangement, or compensate for the inconvenience, but it didn't. We made sure to shower when we checked in at 6PM, but then headed out to dinner and didn't get back until after 10PM. The water was already off, so we couldn't brush our teeth that night, which was kind of gross. The rooftop pool area was really nice. We sat on the patio for about 15 minutes, waiting to order a drink, but the server didn't come. So, I had to go inside to order my drinks at the Watermark bar. I ordered 2 happy hour mojitos, but was not charged correctly. I had to point out to the bartender the happy hour menu, in order for him to notice the error and correct the bill. That said, he corrected the mistake promptly once I pointed it out. If I were to come back to Toronto, I'd probably only consider staying here again after the street construction is complete. The waterfront location is scenic, however I wish that the hotel had a closer subway station. It was about a 10-minute walk to the nearest subway station. If you plan to explore downtown Toronto on foot or by subway, it may be more convenient to stay further north closer to the downtown core.

Yelp
Great location. But be careful if you want to plan an event at this hotel. We planned our wedding brunch & blocked 10 rooms for our guests for the weekend. Would love to recommend this hotel because the front desk staff & housekeeping were amazing. However after paying $500 on top of $35pp for brunch. We had no service, no one was there to greet our guests or to help with the buffet, no drinks or table service available. And the food was just OK. The hotel continues to say that because we had extra guests that was why no one was there to help us. That makes no sense. We had no service at all. Our complaint was we were still charged gratuity on top of the other costs. We had reserved the brunch for 30. We tried to find someone that morning because we had extra people joining. Which we paid for. Finally after going into the kitchen I found someone. They had to set-up one extra 8 top table. The hotel is great for young people & kids. The pool was packed everyday. And because of the busy location it's not a quiet hotel. My grandma's handicap room door was broken, her bedside lamp also was broken & in the middle of night the bathroom from the guest room above started to leak. Not at all up code for a handicap room. We just can't recommended this hotel & the extra charges...

Yelp
Like most three star hotels, the Radisson is okay. I booked on Hotwire for a bargain-basement ~$75/night. Of course, booking with a super discount rate meant that we got rooms facing the street instead of the lake -- I'm sure the lake-facing rooms are way cooler and have sweet stuff like telescopes, but the street-facing rooms are pretty basic. No telescopes, just two double beds and an alarm clock from the early 90s. Clean, decently comfy beds, a few hangups with the shower, free wifi. Mediocre rooms aside, the location is pretty good. It's easy to get anywhere downtown, and easy to hop on the Gardiner Expressway if you're heading to points outside the city. I'd stay here again, but probably not at the full asking price.

Yelp
*2.5 Stars* Lobby/Check In: Unfortunately, my last experience was infinitely better. Attending a friend's wedding nearby, my bf and I decided to do a bit of staycation as well and book the Radisson for the entire weekend. I was hankering for some sun and patio by the restaurants on the waterfront, so the Radisson was ideally located to all the places we needed to get to. Check in was a complete disaster. I arrived at 3pm which is normal check in time only to find out by the agent that there were no clean rooms available. After some searching, he indicated to me that some rooms were available today, but not for tomorrow and vice versa (I had booked for two nights). Finally, there was a clean room for me but he couldn't switch it without getting his manager's approval. The lady that came out was extremely miserable and offered no smile nor apology for me having to wait almost 20 minutes for a room I booked 3 weeks in advance. She didn't even look at me once (avoidance perhaps?) Finally, I got a room (not even sure it was the room I originally requested). I asked about wireless and the agent indicated to me there would be a charge. However, I know being a Carlson member, it is free. I told him I was a Carlson member, but it didn't clue to him that internet would be free. I also told him that I would require parking, but the car would be coming later so the license plate information would be given later. I went up to my room only to find my keys didn't work. So I had to go back downstairs (in my broken foot condition) and wait in line to encounter the miserable lady again. She mumbled something which I assumed to be an apology. I went back upstairs and no sooner do I enter, the phone rings and the agent who checked me in earlier asked for my license plate information. I told him again what I told him earlier - it would be coming later. Disgruntled. Annoyed. Room Number 624. Not as nice as the original room I stayed the last time. However, I wouldn't be staying here for most of the time anyways. Big stain on the carpet, but otherwise, clean. Slight bathroom-curtain-y smell. A working table and a television provide all the basic amenities one can ask for. As a FYI, there is no mini-bar but a fridge where you can put drinks and food in. A coffee machine is provided with coffee and tea and two cups (all clean): coffee filter and tea bags with two bottles of water (complimentary I assume). Noise-Level. This room was noisy due to the fact that the residents next door were up the entire night it seemed. It didn't irk me, but just needs to be mentioned that walls are quite thin. Signature doors banging and talking can be heard in the hallway. Our room was very close to the elevator. Extras. I didn't get to try the pool again this time. Every time I looked it seemed very busy. Would love to try it out sometime. Business center with two computers for guests. Printing capabilities available and free of charge for hotel guests. Conclusion. The location itself is the reason for my rating. You just can't beat it as it's right on Queen's Quay, and you walk down and there you have the entire shoreline to roam. I might be staying here if I needed too, but I can't seem to shake off the disorganized events of the hotel. As a Carlson member, I wasn't made to feel any special or different than a non-Carlson member. Staff member here certainly aren't welcoming, so no hello and how are you. But perhaps I am asking too much for a Radisson? After all, you would be staying here just for the location. Prices aren't cheap, so again, you are paying for the location. Someone left their bill and I checked. Each night was at $218 plus the $20 for parking plus the HST on the room and HST parking. Total bill for that person (2 nights) came out to be $550. I got a room at a discounted rate ($149/night) and I also did the parking (it's $18/night but there is $2 and change change for HST added on, so really $20 total for parking). Total bill came out to be $430 and change. Worth it? Strictly speaking dollar wise, I'm not so sure. But I guess that is the price to pay for being so close to the water.

Yelp
Excellent introduction to Toronto! Located an $8 cab ride from Billy Bishop airport, right one the water with a pool on the 5th floor with an amazing view of the lake and the planes landing at the airport. Right outside is a 24 hour convenient mart with ATM, a great little coffee shop/cafe and the biggest waterfront bar I've ever seen with tons of beers. Our room was newly renovated with wood floors and a glass door shower on the top floor, lakeview side. Comfy bed that is no longer a sleep-number, mini-fridge, small closet, free bottle of water replaced daily, housekeeping staff was very friendly and willing to work around our sleeping schedule to get the room cleaned. The only major drawback was the windows on the 8th floor have an extra strip at the top that aren't covered by the shades so every morning the room is flooded with bright light at about 6am. I will request a lower floor on my next visit although the view can't be beat! Other ammenities were turndown service with a bag of ice and chocolates at night, free breakfast with lots of nice choices, money changing at the front desk, super fast check-in and out. Wi-fi for up to 3 devices was still free. The construction is all around outside and also inside but didn't deter us too much. The construction is honestly all over the entire city so it's not like you can avoid it. Walking to Union Station for the TTC if you are used to walking. You can get daily passes for the subway & buses for $10.75 which is a great deal, their subway is sooo clean. Overall, a very impressive first stay in this city. The staff were all eager to please and went out of their way to help any way they could.

Yelp
Excellent hotel that went above and beyond at serving its purpose of providing a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. I traveled to Toronto by myself for pure pleasure and would definitely recommend this hotel. I probably paid for the cheapest room at this hotel, but it was a great, spacious little room! I had a city view and could see the CN Tower and the Blue Jays Stadium. Amenities: FREE WATER! This is a big deal to me, so I loved this! There is a small, yet nice fitness room; a business center if you need a computer or a printer; free wifi; very comfortable beds; mini-fridge; and an above average shower! There's also a Starbucks located in the lobby which is super convenient for me! Very, very, very friendly staff here. Since I traveled here in the winter, I didn't get the luxury of going swimming, but I would guess it is very nice! There's obviously major construction going on in this neighborhood, but even so, the Harbourfront was a delight to see! It's obvious that it will look beautiful when it's completed. The only reason I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars is because of its location. Although very scenic, even in below average weather, there are not many restaurants to choose from that are nearby. There is a great, quiet sushi place across the street, but if you are looking for more options, or just a quick meal, you may walk a ways. I enjoy walking, so it wasn't that big of a deal for me, but in order to experience more of the city life, there was a lot of walking. Overall, it was a great experience!

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel on a Friday & Saturday night in early 9/03. As per our (advance) request, our room was on the top (8th) floor and we had a GORGEOUS view of the lake & downtown. It was definitely worth the extra cost!

Yelp
Booked through hotwire for $126 with tax. Parking is $21 and once you check in at 3pm, its good until the next day until 6pm. You have in and out privileges which is awesome! The room is comfy and well stocked with coffee, tea and I do believe it comes with a free bottle of water (nice touch). TV works well and the bed is so comfy you won't want to leave. Vey impressed with the front desk, very informative and helpful. Checkout is at 12. Woohooo! Would be more than happy to be at this hotel again.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here during the Waterfront Festival. We checked in on a Thursday and out on the Sunday. The hotel is pretty nice, but is also currently undergoing some renovations in the main lobby, and there's some major construction on the street out front. Their web site warned about the lobby construction in advance. This was a partial belated anniversary trip and mini vacation for us, so when I booked the room online I chose one with a waterfront view. Upon arriving at the hotel I was notified that we were upgraded to a Studio suite at no extra charge (they didn't know it was an anniversary trip) The room was clean and very nice. The Wifi was free for up to three devices but according to their website they will be charging later this summer unless you're a Club Carlson member. I personally think that's a mistake. The location of the hotel was perfect for the Waterfront Festival. We were within walking distance of pretty much everything which was great because all of the construction along Queens Quay was a really big deterrent for driving. If you're going to head into downtown, you will put some mileage on your shoes though. :) I didn't check out the pool, but but sister in-law and her boyfriend did and said it was nice. Parking was onsite, and cost $20 extra per night.

Yelp
I WOULD RETURN. We stayed one night. Checkin was easy and you pay for parking. We did reserved a 2 queen bed room, but we got a king size bed. We didn't say anything, since it was just for one night. The BED was very very comfortable. It was a sleep number bed, which we all enjoyed. TV was pretty big. BATHROOM was a decent size. CLOSET was a little small. COMPLIMENTARY water. COFFEE MAKER available. MINI FRIDGE available in the room if you want to use it NO ICE MACHINE oddly enough. My friend took the ice from a cart outside lol You could probably order it, but I don't know if it would cost anything NO MICROWAVE if you wanted one NOISE: If you are a light sleeper, this might not be a good hotel for you. You can easily hear the people outside the hall. It did not bother me or my friends though. CONVENIENCE: 24 hour Rabba across the street and many restaurants across the street as well. Starbucks coffee down the block. 15 minute walk to the nightclubs. VIEW: Nice view of the CN Tower. PRICE: A bit pricey, but I understood why. Around $200 for the one night.

Yelp
Very nice room. The wait staff was very friendly and courtesy. The new remodeled rooms were very nice and clean. New fluffy beds and nice hardwood floors in the room. The hallway colors were a little strange, mine was a very deep purple. It was a little hard to get to the hotel with queens quay being all tore up. They do have free wifi which was nice. One bonus to the hotel was the Starbucks in the lobby! One negative was the 21 dollars to park in the ramp below the hotel for one night. Overall I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Yelp
I never got the chance to stay here. I booked a 3 night stay during a busy weekend a whole month ahead of time through the booking.com website. I was just told by booking that the manager of the hotel called them and said there was an error in the nightly rate quote and would not be able to honor the price they originally booked me for a month ago! They said they would be happy to book the room for more than $300 dollars over the original price! Mind you that the Carribana is do to take place the weekend I planned to visit and it is impossible to find even a mediocore hotel near the event now that we are days away from my time of travel. I was forced to cancel because I am unable to afford the new inflated price. This whole fiasco smells like a rat! I am pissed beyond belief! Do not ever plan a vacation stay here. You may get a surprise that you will regret!

Yelp
I was really impressed with this hotel. I was in Toronto on business but this hotel felt more like a pleasure. The lobby staff was knowledgeable about the local area and what was within walking distance for food and attractions. The room was well appointed. The hotel bar/restaurant area overlooks Lake Ontario, which was wonderful! What I didn't like was the size of the room. It was overly cramped for two queen beds. I also found that the curtains didn't really block out that much light from the street (government rate =/= view overlooking the street). The room also didn't get cleaned one day, even though we were all out and didn't have a do not disturb sign on the door. The floor layout was kind of weird too, but that has to do with what is required of a structure that's essentially sitting on lake mud.

Yelp
** TRAVELERS BEWARE ** I see my original post to your wall has been removed. I guess you do not want people to know how absolutely horrid of a hotel you are. Well, this review will be posted here, on google, on tripadvisor, on yelp and everywhere else that it can be, as well as often. I made reservations (in January) at this hotel for 2 rooms (for a June stay). In March, I called to cancel both rooms. I was told on the phone that both rooms were canceled. End of story is what you would think. Well in June, I was charged for both rooms ($800). When I called the hotel to let them know of the error, the response was basically "sorry about your luck, we do not have on record that the rooms were canceled" there is nothing we can do. I should mention that the booking was done through booking.com (who I will also never use again). Their service is just as atrocious as the hotels. After going back and forth with booking.com they finally advised me that the hotel was willing to credit me back half (How nice of them to give me half of my own money back). After a few days, still no credit. Called booking.com again and of course, now the credit has been delayed because the hotel has issues with their commision? Really? That does not seem to have to have anything to do with me. Again I wait a few days. A few days later I see a credit pending on my credit card for $191. I am pretty sure half of $800 is not $191? I am still waiting to find out what is going on with this? Here I am, still waiting for answers on this and its been weeks. The hotel and booking.com are large organizations that in the grand scheme of things, is $800 a lot of money to them, is it going to break them, I think not. But to a customer such as myself, that is a lot of money. Finally, I have been credited another $191. But I am still left to pay $400 for a room that I canceled. It is unreal that two large organizations really need my $400 that bad.

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed both the accommodations and hospitality. The room was clean and modern with new furniture, except for the nightstand that just didn't go. The bathroom was spotless with a walk-in glass shower. Maid service was overall good. Ditto for the front desk staff. The outdoor pool was outstanding. It was a great place to relax. Kudos to the manager dressed in a suit making sure everything at the pool was great. On a personal note "thank you" to the same gentleman for asking how our boy's knee was when we saw you outside the hotel many hours later! We liked being on the lakefront and found it convenient and quiet. Try the red sightseeing bus that parks on the side of the hotel if you want to see the city. Overall, we were very pleased with calling this hotel home base during our Toronto getaway.

Yelp
We can see CN tower directly from our room. My son loved to watch the tower lights at night and also the elevators going up and down. Centrally located in harborfront and walking distance to many attractions. Room is modern decorated and comfy. Driving to the hotel takes practice as you seem to be able to reach it through Rees street going south. Don't think you can legally turn left or right on harborfront.

Yelp
Stayed here for a wknd in the city. Perfect location. On the harbour and steps to ACC, Rogers Ctre, CN Tower etc. Best price for the area and no complaints on the hotel service and rooms. Just an FYI $20 nite for parking though extra. Not sure about the bed systems in the Radisson too with the blow up firm right side left side. Other than that. All good.

Yelp
Stayed for 5 days, rooms are clean and large stayed on 3rd floor for a couple days then moved to a King room on the 8th floor....all staff were very friendly and helpful...from front line to maintenence....could use some darker colors in the rooms as i found rooms very bright when the sun is shining in from the east facing room.... will return for certain.
