Radisson Hotel Colombo

The hotel was in a great location on the coast by the ocean. Only a large road and a railway track lay between us and the hotel. The view from our room (9th floor) was breathtakingly beautiful. With the slight change in weather, it was even more incredible. The service staff were friendly and courteous, especially Amanda, who went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. The small roof terrace with bar and pool is another great highlight, especially for sunsets.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Stay with Room for Improvement Overall, we had a good and comfortable stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, the room was clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful. A special mention to Wasana from the staff—she was very kind, helpful, and provided great service. One area that needs improvement is housekeeping. I had to call twice for towels and an iron, but unfortunately, they were never delivered. Improving response time would make the experience even better. Other than this, everything was good, and I would still recommend this place for a comfortable stay.

We had an amazing experience at Radisson Hotel Colombo! The service was truly exceptional. A special thank you to Mr. Channa and Chef Mrs. Vindya for going above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable. They surprised us by preparing an absolutely delicious cake for my son’s birthday at the very last moment, and it made the celebration even more special. We had a two night stay and thoroughly enjoyed the sea view from our room. Buffet breakfast and Dinner had a fine spread . Though the restaurant was filled to capacity, the staff made an all out effort to make the guests comfortable. I would particularly commend Amanda for her commitment . She was constantly on the move to meet requirements of the guests. On the whole a satisfying experience.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The ocean view from the room was great. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing, a special thanks to Amanda for making us feel so welcome. And the views of the ocean and the Colombo skyline from the rooftop lounge were absolutely breathtaking. Would positively recommend !

From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. My suite room is fantastic—immaculate and filled with plenty of amenities, thanks to your dedicated housekeeping staff. I also wanted to compliment the breakfast provided. The variety was impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed the crispy hoppers after such a long time. I must highlight Mr. Channa’s service; his attention to detail and courteousness truly made my dining experience even better. Thank you for maintaining such high standards of service. Great stay at Radisson! Warm welcome from security, smooth check-in, and a surprise upgrade to a top-floor ocean-view room—loved it! Breakfast was amazing (way beyond good), and lunch/dinner tasted outstanding thanks to Mr. Channa and team. Kathiresan Temple is just a short walk away, and we had a great tea nearby at Amirthaa Restaurant. Only suggestion: restrict rooftop smoking to one side—it’s tough to enjoy the pool with my kid in the middle. Highly recommend!

Just checked into a superior room and Im shocked by the service for the price we have paid for 3 nights. No hand towels, face towels, ironing board were provided in the room. We had to call several times for the staff to bring each item at a time. These should be already available when checking in. The room is really tiny. And to top it off, their gym and pool are closed for the day, had I known this earlier we would have booked alternate accomodation. Save yourself and book elsewhere. Im still staying in the hotel and the staff are really rude when I just called room service. The staff at the lobby gave some lousy explaination on how the room cards reset because my card was next to my phone when I clearly told him the phone wasnt next to it all day. Ive seen other guests have their cards being non functional too. Safety is horrible here, as I was able to buzz those guests to their floor with my card. The management have done nothing to rectify my complaints so far. And weve been here for 2nights already.
