I stayed at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu for a total of three nights, and overall my experience was pleasant, with a few areas that could benefit from improvement.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The door staff, security team, reception, and breakfast staff were all extremely helpful, polite, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay.
I did not encounter a single staff member who was unprofessional, which really added to the comfort of the experience.
My room was spacious, clean, and well presented. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained. Although I heard several other guests mentioning issues with toilets and flushing systems, I did not personally experience any such problems, as my room was functioning perfectly.
One downside of my stay was the dinner experience on the first night. I dined with friends at the hotel restaurant, and unfortunately the food did not meet expectations. The chicken was undercooked, which made me ill, and many of my friends chose not to finish their meals.
This experience discouraged us from dining at the hotel again in the evenings, and we opted to explore the city for meals for the rest of our stay.
On a positive note, breakfast was excellent. The variety was impressive, offering a wide selection of savory and sweet items, fresh fruits, and other options. Breakfast was definitely a highlight and far exceeded our dinner experience.
Overall, my stay at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu was not bad, and I would recommend the hotel for its welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast. With some attention to food quality and minor maintenance issues, the experience could be significantly improved.
