Radisson Hotel on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne

Although staying only for one night, the service and experience throughout has been incredible from the get-go. Greeted with a smile as you walk through an impeccably clean and welcoming lobby, easy and quick check-in awaits you soon after. After staying at a few different hotels in the past, one can easily spot luxury and decadence compared to the other end of the spectrum through things like fluffy robes in the closet, disposable slippers and complimentary accoutrements that other hotels simply just don't supply. Heading back down to the bar/restaurant, my partner and I were greeted with a smile and were served the best cocktails money can buy by the best bartender in the biz, Peter and were happily able to have a bit of a yarn and be blown away and wowed by the service provided. An absolute asset to your business, Peter deserves a raise and adulation from whomever within the company can provide this. We're very happy with our stay and will definitely consider returning.

I had the most amazing experience at this hotel. I stay here often and had some issues this time around and just want to say that Angel at front desk was amazing with dealing with the situation. She is very professional and always so kind. It was sad to hear that Jules left the hotel, she was a great asset to the team! Lastly sky from the restaurant is so lovely and has always gone out of her way to help me when I dine in as I am very picky with my food. The staff are all amazing! Highly recommended hotel :)

This Hotel is an absolute must stay! Throughout our time spent here, we were continuously blown away by the level of quality this establishment brings! Not just from the room itself, but especially from the customer service we were provided as well! I'd like to give an extra special shout out and thanks to Peter, for his incredible hospitality and service with a cheeky grin 😁 he made the most outstanding beverages, and also kept us thoroughly entertained during our stay! Will definitely be returning in the future!

Outstanding service and experience from start to finish, all staff look like they like their jobs and are more than happy to help with any of your requests and follow through with them as well. Love the location, across from Flagstaff gardens which was lovely for a short walk during the sunny weather. Cleanliness was as desired and rooms were well worth the slightly steeper than economy pricing. You definitely get what you pay for with this luxury hotel. Noise level was at a minimum the entire stay but it was also mid-week so can't judge too well. All necessary amenities were provided and if more were needed, additions were supplied. Caught at the perfect time being mid-week, we were able to strike up a thought-provoking but light conversation with the lovely Peter who was working the bar at the time and made us his signature cocktails and loved doing so, wowing us in the process. As an employee and a person, Peter is both an asset and a necessity, the gem of the bar/restaurant if you will, and deserves both a raise and a paid holiday.|Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a comfortable time staying at this Radisson Location. It was near all the areas of town we needed to visit and surrounded by stores, museums and galleries for cultural visits on our days off. ||||Our room was comfortable and spacious to accommodate two travelers. The shower was clean. ||Our experience was overall very good with the exception of noise outside our room at hours of the night. The door is not so well insulated and the lights from the corridor kept seeping in, which can make it harder to sleep. ||||The furnishings were a little dilapidated and the room walls had signs of wear and tear. ||||We did not have much interaction with staff apart from the check-in process, so our comments are neutral on that matter. ||||||Nevertheless, it was a good value for money in a key location.

Love, love, love this hotel! Have been a couple of times now, and will definitely use everytime we need to stay in Melbourne. The service is fantastic- everyone friendly, accommodating and all with a smile on their face. Location is great- near Flagstaff gardens, so easy to get to off the Monash, and don’t have to battle your way through lots of traffic. Walking distance to inner CBD if you need. There is parking out the front while you sort your check-in, so handy! We have stayed in the renovated deluxe rooms, so can’t attest to some of the older style rooms, but have found our rooms to be clean, tidy and fairly modern. The little notes around the room explaining how everything works are a great help. We also had free bottles of water and tea, coffee & milk in our room. I enjoyed a lovely morning coffee in bed! We have also enjoyed their buffet breakfast both stays, and love that you can order your eggs any way, the food available and are able to order a real coffee. We have used their valet service both times as well, and have had no issues there. I also need to mention how staff went above and beyond during our most recent visit. I let them know it was my daughter’s birthday, and we came back to our room to find a birthday note, some free drink cards and some balloons!!! So fantastic and thoughtful. Highly recommend this place!

The room that I stayed in with my partner, was okay but while having a shower 5he cold tap fall off! And it was very noisy just outside our room and there was no tea spoon for the coffee and tea. But was a good spot of Melbourne, being very close to what we that night.

I got to start with the breakfast!! I went for breakfast late and usually when you go late for breakfast we all know what that means...no presh fruit or food is left! Well in this hotel this isn't the case can I say well done to the chef's ! The ladies always around and happy to help, tables always wiped and reset in seconds , once I was finished with my place someone was there to pick up straight away. Mind that the restaurant was full. I asked for boiled eggs 👌 perfection The reception staff polite and very well groomed ( I would suggest to have someone with your training staff supervising they say the right things 😊 ) we all start from somewhere. The room very clean and big quiet even though is at the front of a busy road. Definitely recommend and I will be back Thank you all for your hard work ☺️

We came directly to the hotel from the airport after a 15+ hours flight, very tired! The staffs were friendly and attentive. The lobby had a new and modern look with seriously comfy chairs ;P Our room was on the top floor and was absolutely beautiful. It was a 1 king bedroom with a living room (with a futon) and a small kitchen. The room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. We also had someone come in almost immediately to help us with setting up the futon bed.

I stayed overnight to attend a meeting in Melbourne. There was hot chocolate. Staff were friendly. The room was adequate & had bathrobes. Also a wine opener which I used. There was a large screen tv. Gym was mainly for aerobic workout with a spa with a good view of the city. Quite central but I took a taxi as I had a rolled ankle. There's a pharmacy 600 meters away to buy bandages and walking stick. Opposite a park so able to go jogging. Breakfast was standard buffet but unlimited got chocolate. That's great.

Was forced to stay here after my flight got cancelled, so I walked in angry. I have to say the staff was very nice and handled the bus load of people very professionally which was much appreciated. Stopped in for dinner and a drink. Prices were reasonable and the fish and chips was pretty good.

My wife and I flew in on Christmas Day. There were few open restaurants. Thankfully we found the Radisson. My Malaysian chicken curry was superb. My wife loved her barramundi and the side of vegetarian fried rice. Even the small loaf of bread with olive oil drizzled over it was delicious. Device was friendly and professional.

The dining room at Radisson on Flagstaff gets 3 stars due to the incredible value and pleasant service. I popped in for lunch with a party of 8 and we all ordered from the $15 menu., Salt and pepper Squid, Asian style chicken salad, a Porterhouse steak or Portarlington mussels were some of the choices. All arrived in reasonable time and were well presented. Order at the bar with no fuss. Not fine dining, but good value quick lunch.

this hotel is fucking rubbish, I am a pilot from airline, this hotel often give us room 302 room 402 as such, these room are fucking noisy, this time I couldn't bear it any more, I just want to change to a different one, but I was told to be waited until 14:00 in the afternoon, it was so stupid because I have flowed 11hours all the way from China, and arrived in MEL at 7 o'clock in the morning, I just want to say fuck you Radisson flagstaff MEL

Wonderful staff and excellent, very tasty food. We arrived late (20 min after closing) but they kept the kitchen open long enough to feed us. We had the curry and a burger. Both were excellent and cost mid-20$ each. Dinner for 3 including a round of drinks and 2 desserts was $107 and worth it.
