Radisson Hotel on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne

The location was the best part! We could see Queen Victoria Market from our room. It is easily accessible for trams, buses or any other mode of transport. The breakfast had a good spread, although it didn’t change much everyday. It overlooks the beautiful street outside. The room was a bit compact, but comfortable for two people. The Flagstaff gardens are right across the street. It was a lovely stay, and we were happy that we chose to stay here.

Came here to stay whilst we went to the AO tennis; hotel room had everything we needed for our stay, comfortable bed, decent shower, soft towels and fridge. But what far made the difference are the staff in reception and the restaurant/bar. Angel on reception is very helpful, Furkan on the bar makes a delicious espresso martini, lets you know when happy hour is, and remembers what you like to drink. Sky the restaurant manager is so knowledgeable about all meals on the menu and makes sure you meal is cooked to suit your taste regarding spices and chilli. With staff like these we’ll definitely stay here again.

I would stay here again if I had to sleep in the elevator because the staff are so nice. We were in Melbourne at a bit of a difficult time for us, the staff cheered us up with warm smiles and extra help. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Recommend joining the loyalty program, there are some good savings. (Btw the hotel is great value, location is awesome with trains and trams right there, and the Victoria Market, also Flagstaff Gardens across the road. Can absolutely not complain. Nice rooms great super friendly stuff. Breakfast is always the same there would be some variety quite nice. As well there is only one super slow ans not really good tasting coffee Maschine which is definitely not good but that’s the only point which I didn’t liked. Would definitely recommend and come back when I am back in Melbourne.

Yet another enjoyable and relaxing stay at the Radisson Flagstaff in Melbourne. It is indeed reassuring to know that, in spite of staff shortages and cutbacks across hospitality worldwide and increases to everyday prices right across the board, that the welcome one gets on arrival is as sincere, warm and welcoming as ever as is the genuine care throughout one’s stay from EVERY staff member Our grateful thanks go to Donna whose professionalism, kindness and beautiful smile always makes our day, to Lucy and Peter whose enthusiasm, attention to every detail in the restaurant is truly excellent and also to Mirisha, Itthi, Rose, Skye, Nat, Jules, Julie, Lee, Janine, Carlota, plus the cheerful young men who were working in restaurant over the Christmas period… each one always remembers us and they all make a special effort to ask how we are. The location of the hotel is ideal, not right in the CBD but just on the edge and easy to walk everywhere. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and have a relaxing vibe and we do feel very chilled after our stay. We had another memorable stay during Christmas last year and have recommended this hotel many times to our friends. Always looking forward to our next visit.

We booked two rooms for a family of four. A no frills hotel with good sized rooms. We had a good stay only the AC should be checked up(room 409) it keeps switching off with a noise & wakes you up , the front desk said that it’s normal due to some temperature controls but for a 10days stay waking up in the dawn daily with sudden sweat was no joke. This was our first time in Melbourne & didn’t know that guest must take their own luggage in a trolley even in a chain of hotels in this caliber:) We had 6 luggage’s. It was our first time to experience doing luggage service with no help of door staff/bellboy.

Rooms a bit dark (decor) but still very nice. Great location. Excellent buffet breakfast (although it should be for $38 pp). Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

All positive in terms of location, room size, ammenities, staff, comfort. Bathroom cleanliness could use improving - I had to change rooms and both bathrooms had hairs on the floor and back of toilet seat could have been cleaned better. I’d stay again at the right price, but not my first pick.

We came directly to the hotel from the airport after a 15+ hours flight, very tired! The staffs were friendly and attentive. The lobby had a new and modern look with seriously comfy chairs ;P Our room was on the top floor and was absolutely beautiful. It was a 1 king bedroom with a living room (with a futon) and a small kitchen. The room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. We also had someone come in almost immediately to help us with setting up the futon bed.

I stayed overnight to attend a meeting in Melbourne. There was hot chocolate. Staff were friendly. The room was adequate & had bathrobes. Also a wine opener which I used. There was a large screen tv. Gym was mainly for aerobic workout with a spa with a good view of the city. Quite central but I took a taxi as I had a rolled ankle. There's a pharmacy 600 meters away to buy bandages and walking stick. Opposite a park so able to go jogging. Breakfast was standard buffet but unlimited got chocolate. That's great.

Was forced to stay here after my flight got cancelled, so I walked in angry. I have to say the staff was very nice and handled the bus load of people very professionally which was much appreciated. Stopped in for dinner and a drink. Prices were reasonable and the fish and chips was pretty good.

My wife and I flew in on Christmas Day. There were few open restaurants. Thankfully we found the Radisson. My Malaysian chicken curry was superb. My wife loved her barramundi and the side of vegetarian fried rice. Even the small loaf of bread with olive oil drizzled over it was delicious. Device was friendly and professional.

The dining room at Radisson on Flagstaff gets 3 stars due to the incredible value and pleasant service. I popped in for lunch with a party of 8 and we all ordered from the $15 menu., Salt and pepper Squid, Asian style chicken salad, a Porterhouse steak or Portarlington mussels were some of the choices. All arrived in reasonable time and were well presented. Order at the bar with no fuss. Not fine dining, but good value quick lunch.

this hotel is fucking rubbish, I am a pilot from airline, this hotel often give us room 302 room 402 as such, these room are fucking noisy, this time I couldn't bear it any more, I just want to change to a different one, but I was told to be waited until 14:00 in the afternoon, it was so stupid because I have flowed 11hours all the way from China, and arrived in MEL at 7 o'clock in the morning, I just want to say fuck you Radisson flagstaff MEL

Wonderful staff and excellent, very tasty food. We arrived late (20 min after closing) but they kept the kitchen open long enough to feed us. We had the curry and a burger. Both were excellent and cost mid-20$ each. Dinner for 3 including a round of drinks and 2 desserts was $107 and worth it.
