Radisson Hotel on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne

This Hotel is an absolute must stay! Throughout our time spent here, we were continuously blown away by the level of quality this establishment brings! Not just from the room itself, but especially from the customer service we were provided as well! I'd like to give an extra special shout out and thanks to Peter, for his incredible hospitality and service with a cheeky grin 😁 he made the most outstanding beverages, and also kept us thoroughly entertained during our stay! Will definitely be returning in the future!

The hotel is OK. The area is not the best part of Melbourne but good access to Festival Hall, Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Central. Service was friendly and helpful, but we had a few issues - adjoining doors locked between our rooms, phone not working, some other guest was given my daughter's room number and key upon checking and walked in on her getting changed (much embarrassment all round), 1.5 hour wait for a bowl of chips from room service. The room was OK, nothing flash and generally clean apart from a dirty wall in the bathroom and a tissue under the bed. The hotel served our purpose as one of the closest to Festival Hall. Other than that objective, we probably wouldn't stay there again. It was a decent rate for its standard.

We were delighted to move in for three days at the hotel. Check in staff CARTEL was friendly and helps us with early check in. The rooms were well maintained, thanks to the Housekeeping Team.||The Smart TV offered many features. But did not cater for many Indian viewers.||The breakfast was tasty and well made. Choice of food was commensurate with the hotel category. However, there was no choice for Indians. Supervisor JANINE and staff SUSAN were enthusiastically handling a large crowds. I loved the way they remembered our simple needs of Boiled Eggs and suggested early for preparation so that we did not need to wait. Thank you, girls!||Lastly, considering the number of Indian guests, the leadership may like to:-||1. Cater for Indian food.||2. Cater for TV Channels from India.||Thank you!

Although staying only for one night, the service and experience throughout has been incredible from the get-go. Greeted with a smile as you walk through an impeccably clean and welcoming lobby, easy and quick check-in awaits you soon after. After staying at a few different hotels in the past, one can easily spot luxury and decadence compared to the other end of the spectrum through things like fluffy robes in the closet, disposable slippers and complimentary accoutrements that other hotels simply just don't supply. Heading back down to the bar/restaurant, my partner and I were greeted with a smile and were served the best cocktails money can buy by the best bartender in the biz, Peter and were happily able to have a bit of a yarn and be blown away and wowed by the service provided. An absolute asset to your business, Peter deserves a raise and adulation from whomever within the company can provide this. We're very happy with our stay and will definitely consider returning.

I was given a room where the door wouldn’t close properly unless you pull it hard. On my first night housekeeping visited to drop off the bath plug on request then didn’t notice they left the door open while I was out. When I brought it up the staff member on duty asked me to check if anything was missing. I understood the concern but for me it was more about not feeling safe. I didn’t want to deal with that during a short two night stay. She spoke over me while I was trying to explain how I felt and I found her attitude pretty unkind. She did move me to another room which I appreciated but the whole thing was frustrating and I didn’t feel well supported. On a positive note the checkout team was helpful and let me leave my luggage until later which I was thankful for. Overall it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for and I’ll probably stay somewhere else next time I visit Melbourne central.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice but it could have used a few more electric outlets, especially by the desk. The staff were cheerful, especially at the front desk.

This hotel is conveniently located in Melbourne CBD. Its within walking distance to Southern Cross Station, Tram Lines and has the Flagstaff Gardens across the road. The check in process was slightly slow and the reception had issues with one of the computers. The room was spacious but the layout was a bit awkward. Powerpoints were not close to the bedside and lights could not be centrally turned off. The room also felt dated, and there are gaps in the door - so we could hear people in the corrdior. The daily cleaning lacked attention to detail. Lights were left on after they came into the room, some towels were replaced, but glasses were not cleaned or replaced. It was great that they offered complimentary bottled water, however it was also not replenished consistently (we had 2 ppl in the room but only 1 was replenished). At night when we found the light flickering, the staff also couldn't attend to it. Although the hotel is in a good location, but was disappointing to experience these issues.

It's my 4th time in this hotel and the disappointment is just growing! Room are very dusty, air-conditioning filter are filthy, never cleaned despite my complaints. This last visit just got worse, placed the bath gown on the floor because it was dirty and it is back on the rack after the cleaning. Extremely disappointing!

We came directly to the hotel from the airport after a 15+ hours flight, very tired! The staffs were friendly and attentive. The lobby had a new and modern look with seriously comfy chairs ;P Our room was on the top floor and was absolutely beautiful. It was a 1 king bedroom with a living room (with a futon) and a small kitchen. The room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. We also had someone come in almost immediately to help us with setting up the futon bed.

I stayed overnight to attend a meeting in Melbourne. There was hot chocolate. Staff were friendly. The room was adequate & had bathrobes. Also a wine opener which I used. There was a large screen tv. Gym was mainly for aerobic workout with a spa with a good view of the city. Quite central but I took a taxi as I had a rolled ankle. There's a pharmacy 600 meters away to buy bandages and walking stick. Opposite a park so able to go jogging. Breakfast was standard buffet but unlimited got chocolate. That's great.

Was forced to stay here after my flight got cancelled, so I walked in angry. I have to say the staff was very nice and handled the bus load of people very professionally which was much appreciated. Stopped in for dinner and a drink. Prices were reasonable and the fish and chips was pretty good.

My wife and I flew in on Christmas Day. There were few open restaurants. Thankfully we found the Radisson. My Malaysian chicken curry was superb. My wife loved her barramundi and the side of vegetarian fried rice. Even the small loaf of bread with olive oil drizzled over it was delicious. Device was friendly and professional.

The dining room at Radisson on Flagstaff gets 3 stars due to the incredible value and pleasant service. I popped in for lunch with a party of 8 and we all ordered from the $15 menu., Salt and pepper Squid, Asian style chicken salad, a Porterhouse steak or Portarlington mussels were some of the choices. All arrived in reasonable time and were well presented. Order at the bar with no fuss. Not fine dining, but good value quick lunch.

this hotel is fucking rubbish, I am a pilot from airline, this hotel often give us room 302 room 402 as such, these room are fucking noisy, this time I couldn't bear it any more, I just want to change to a different one, but I was told to be waited until 14:00 in the afternoon, it was so stupid because I have flowed 11hours all the way from China, and arrived in MEL at 7 o'clock in the morning, I just want to say fuck you Radisson flagstaff MEL

Wonderful staff and excellent, very tasty food. We arrived late (20 min after closing) but they kept the kitchen open long enough to feed us. We had the curry and a burger. Both were excellent and cost mid-20$ each. Dinner for 3 including a round of drinks and 2 desserts was $107 and worth it.
