The Radisson is in a good location and the tram stop is nearby which is very convenient. We had a good size room which was very clean and had all that we needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, good variety and quality. Due to bad weather we stayed at the hotel one evening and had dinner which was also very good. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Melbourne.

Good hotel – good spot, hotel has most things you need and the gym is great. Pros: - Gym is on the rooftop and is very well equipped with cardio machines, lots of weights machines, spin bike, reasonable aircon. - Good location – opposite a beautiful park, short walk to flagstaff train station and a free tram station, reasonably close to groceries and bottle shop is 800m away, short walk to Melbourne central and the CBD - Good rooms – very comfortable beds, quiet rooms, clean rooms with daily cleaning, reasonably well equipped (USB chargers, ironing board, aircon, hair dryer). - Lovely reception area with helpful staff. Restaurant and bar in the building - Reasonably priced for the location and amenities Cons - No pool or spa - No kitchenette /microwave / anything other than a kettle - No balcony

This was our third and last stay at Flagstaff, ossibly even Radisson. We kept coming back because we have always had an awesome stay. 24hr room service, exceptional service etc. On this occasion the hotel goes against even its own website. Room service has been reduced to 4hrs in the evening and half the menu it used to have. Dinner and breakfast available in the restaurant. Again half the menu is missing and the half that remained at breakfast was barely edible. I noticed most of the restaurant staff previously available on our trips were not visible on this trip. Dinner in the restaurant was appalling. We had invited some friends to meet us in the restaurant as we had had such an excellent experience last time only to be embarrassed on this occasion one staff member in the restaurant (the barman) who ignored us for over an hour until we stood at the entrance to the kitchen and yelled for service before he decided to come and take our order. Not interested (and didn't ask) in taking our drinks order so we stuck to water. The reception staff were fantastic and did all they could to help us throughout our stay. Same for housekeeping staff.

I used to be one of this hotel’s biggest supporters, but those days are gone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone anymore. The service has dropped to an unacceptable level, and the new restaurant menu is an absolute disgrace — bland, cheap, and offering almost no variety. It looks like it was thrown together with no thought for the guests who actually pay to stay here. Breakfast is even worse. It now feels like something you’d get at a low-end three-star hotel. And that’s the real question: why should anyone pay five-star rates when you’re only delivering a three-star experience? I’m not alone in this. Every regular I’ve spoken to is shocked at how far this place has fallen. People who have stayed here for years are already talking about taking their money elsewhere — and honestly, I don’t blame them. If management doesn’t wake up and fix this fast, you’re going to lose the loyal guests who kept this hotel alive. Right now, it’s unrecognisable from the place we used to love.

I was greeted warmly on my early arrival, my luggage was looked after until my checkin. The staff who assisted me during my stay were all excellent, friendly and helpful. It felt friendly and inviting. The room was comfortable and clean with great coffee.

I stayed with my friend at this hotel. Location of the hotel: Great, The lobby also looks welcoming and nice. However, their seems to be a lack of communication between staff. Messages are also not passed on properly staff. Although we had a nice view of the flagstaff gardens, carpet needed to be vacuumed and furniture was dusty. Buffet Breakfast variety was ordinary.

The Radisson is in a good location and the tram stop is nearby which is very convenient. Room was good size, carpet neededs updating. Bathroom is very dated and needs updating, toilet within shower area so be prepared to get your feet wet (not good).||||Restaurants seems good, we only had continental

Every time I have visited Melbourne the past 4 years I have stayed at the Radisson on Flagstaff - its great value for money with a good central location.||The good news is after my latest visit (6 days solo travelling) I would stay again but I do have some bad news to highlight with their check in/out admin. I paid for early check in and late check out and their was admin issues with both. Upon arrival my room hadn't been allocated early check in (I'd paid for it) and then on day of departure my entry card stopped working before I was ready to leave as late check out hadn't been linked to my room (even though I'd paid for it). Both if these are minor things but I would expect better from Radisson as this all forms part of the customer experience, it left me feeling disappointment.||I'll stay again as location and value for money are high on my list for choosing a hotel but I just hope in the future there's no admin issues at the reception desk.

Yelp
We came directly to the hotel from the airport after a 15+ hours flight, very tired! The staffs were friendly and attentive. The lobby had a new and modern look with seriously comfy chairs ;P Our room was on the top floor and was absolutely beautiful. It was a 1 king bedroom with a living room (with a futon) and a small kitchen. The room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. We also had someone come in almost immediately to help us with setting up the futon bed.

Yelp
I stayed overnight to attend a meeting in Melbourne. There was hot chocolate. Staff were friendly. The room was adequate & had bathrobes. Also a wine opener which I used. There was a large screen tv. Gym was mainly for aerobic workout with a spa with a good view of the city. Quite central but I took a taxi as I had a rolled ankle. There's a pharmacy 600 meters away to buy bandages and walking stick. Opposite a park so able to go jogging. Breakfast was standard buffet but unlimited got chocolate. That's great.

Yelp
Was forced to stay here after my flight got cancelled, so I walked in angry. I have to say the staff was very nice and handled the bus load of people very professionally which was much appreciated. Stopped in for dinner and a drink. Prices were reasonable and the fish and chips was pretty good.

Yelp
My wife and I flew in on Christmas Day. There were few open restaurants. Thankfully we found the Radisson. My Malaysian chicken curry was superb. My wife loved her barramundi and the side of vegetarian fried rice. Even the small loaf of bread with olive oil drizzled over it was delicious. Device was friendly and professional.

Yelp
The dining room at Radisson on Flagstaff gets 3 stars due to the incredible value and pleasant service. I popped in for lunch with a party of 8 and we all ordered from the $15 menu., Salt and pepper Squid, Asian style chicken salad, a Porterhouse steak or Portarlington mussels were some of the choices. All arrived in reasonable time and were well presented. Order at the bar with no fuss. Not fine dining, but good value quick lunch.

Yelp
this hotel is fucking rubbish, I am a pilot from airline, this hotel often give us room 302 room 402 as such, these room are fucking noisy, this time I couldn't bear it any more, I just want to change to a different one, but I was told to be waited until 14:00 in the afternoon, it was so stupid because I have flowed 11hours all the way from China, and arrived in MEL at 7 o'clock in the morning, I just want to say fuck you Radisson flagstaff MEL

Yelp
Wonderful staff and excellent, very tasty food. We arrived late (20 min after closing) but they kept the kitchen open long enough to feed us. We had the curry and a burger. Both were excellent and cost mid-20$ each. Dinner for 3 including a round of drinks and 2 desserts was $107 and worth it.
