Radisson Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista

Staff was great, room was clean, and very reasonably priced. I did not like the sleep number beds, but some people might like them. It's also a somewhat order hotel and you can tell by the outdated decor. But it seems to be clean and well maintained. The shuttle to Disney world only goes to two parks a day which is convenient only if it's going to the park you're going to. If not it will be a decent trip at Disney to make it to a different park.

I stayed here about 5 years ago and really thought it was a great place to base yourself and overall was happy with the Hotel. This is why we went back and while not bad I also cannot rave about it. Overall location wise its' great, literally at one of the entrances to Walt Disney World, so access to the parks and Disney Springs is easy, they also provide shuttle buses to some of the parks. There are also plenty of restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. It's also right next to the I-4 so getting easy access to other areas isn't an issue either. Overall the hotel is in need of some modernisation, it is looking a bit dated and worn. Rooms were a decent size, bathrooms were fine too. It was clean, but one of those places that you don't want to look too closely in case you find spots where they haven't cleaned. If you were wanting more form a hotel, I wouldn't recommend, but if all you need is a relatively decent priced hotel as a bed for the night (as you are out morning until night) then this is fine. Having said that, If I went back to Orlando I wouldn't go back here a 3rd time.

Our room was very clean. The bar tending staff made our nights fun! And our misfortune of me forgetting my wallet full of cash and my credit cards left in our room safe was immediately put in the hotel safe untouched for safe keeping meant a lot to us. We are a family of five and our room was accommodating and affordable. As you know time to pack to leave is busy for 5 and something can get left behind. I couldn’t believe I did that but their diligence and safe storage for me was everything! We will stay here again! Thank you all again!

An awesome stay at the Radisson Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista! We were here for 3 nights to visit the Disney parks and this hotel is in a good location if you want to stay off the property. Really loved their customer service and housekeeping. Rooms were fairly spacious and always clean and neat. People at the front desk and the authorized Disney ticket sales desk are very friendly. I really liked the hotel's proximity to the various restaurants nearby; it's very convenient. The only thing that bothered me were the shuttle timings to Disney Parks. They were either too early (7am) or too late (9:10am) and that too with the drop-off at Hollywood Studios. So from there, it would take you at least another half an hour to get to any other park you want (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom). With Magic Kingdom opening at 8am, we wanted to be there when the park opens to maximize our time there. Otherwise, overall, I would definitely stay here again because of the level of service and location.

We had an issue with our TV not working for the first day and a half. The maintenance man came to try to fix it several times and to no avail they ended up having to replace it on the last evening. The bed that I was sleeping in was hard and had a crater in the middle. We checked out the following morning and I brought to the young lady's attention at the desk and she was very kind an refunded us one of the 2 nights. The hotel has a nice area where you can purchase the breakfast buffet before making your way to the parks. Overall I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

My stay at the Radisson in Buena Vista was disappointing, I thought it was going to be a lot nicer from the reviews I read online. I'll start with the good. Parking was free which was great, and they had shuttles to take us to and from Universal and Disney World at different times of the day which was also a huge bonus and partially why I gave three stars. The room was clean and the cleaning service was good. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. The air conditioning worked great. The pool and hot tub were okay. But the pool was cold and the hot tub was pretty small. Now the bad. The breakfast is not complimentary, it is $13.99 per person. An upgraded suite room is just a regular hotel room with a small side bedroom that has a king sized bed. Nothing special about it and definitely not worth the extra money. Plus only one light switch worked in the whole room. Our sleep number bed controllers were broken, we had to push extremely hard on them to get them to work, and even then half of the time they didn't work. Our door would get stuck and was hard to open, plus the card reader on our door broke and they had to send someone up to replace it which was inconvenient when we just got back that night and wanted to sleep. Though that probably does not happen a lot, it was just irksome for us. Overall it was just an okay stay. We'll probably try to find somewhere else next time we visit Orlando since there were multiple other places the shuttle picks up at that have free parking.

We had to make last minute, day of, reservations because of issues with our previous hotel arrangements. Sarah & EJ were absolutely delightful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. They totally helped us turn the beginning of our vacation around. Room was spacious, bed was more than comfortable, and all of the staff were nice and approachable. Definitely would stay again!

Overall, the hotel was a decent place to rest out heads. It wouldn't be my first choice but also not my last choice. The people at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. Pros: It's close to all sorts of restaurants, shopping, the parks, has a shuttle for Disney parks and outlets stores. Cons: Pillows are soft and flat, our shower drain backed up, sink had a deep crack and chip in the bowl. No airport shuttle or shuttle to the ports.
