Perfect stay before Windstar Cruise for two nights. Enjoyed seeing the ships move to the Panama Canal and nice walking path all along the water. Room was comfortable and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Food and bar was a plus and there is a bar/restaurant next door with outside dining. I really enjoyed my stay and hotel used their shuttle to take those of us on Windstar to the port for free, a real nice touch that was appreciated. I sure made a great choice for my first trip to Panama.

The view of the ocean from my balcony was wonderful. Ships coming and going was entertaining. The room was comfortable and clean. Good water pressure and AC. In room coffee maker, microwave and fridge. It would have been a great experience except the pool was closed!!! One of the reasons for selecting the hotel was the pool and hot tub. I was so disappointed. It was a scheduled maintenance so it should have been publicized on the website. I wasn’t informed on check in either. So I had my swimsuit on ready to go and was told it was closed when I got there. Unacceptable. If this is an important amenity for you, be sure to contact hotel first. Housekeeping was great but front desk staff could use some additional training in customer service/relations especially Arselis .

Wife & I spent 3 days here. We really enjoyed the ocean view room. We had 3rd floor which gave great views of the passing ships and swimming pool. Our room was clean. A/C worked great. Shower had lots of very hot water with plenty of pressure. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was basic but good. TGIF was good. Easy walk to Canal House and Downtown Amadour. BioMuseum was also an easy walk (~a mile?) If you are in town for the canal and ship watching, this is your Must Stay locaton!

Still waiting for a call from the manager (4 days today). Our room had a leak under the sink, there were blood stains in the bathroom and our 14 years daughter was judged for a cafeteria employee. We saw two ladies showing their butts in shorts, one of them were showing her stomach but they were not a problem. The rules doesn't apply to everyone apparently. My little girl was a problem for this unprofessional employee. I repeated twice she was 14 years old. The cafeteria is just steps from the pool. We hace nothing against the ladies in shorts but if this hotel has,a rule it should apply to everyone. They got our money and that's all that counts for this hotel. Customer retention is not a concern for them.

Room was very comfortable. Had a bedroom and living room and overlooked the canal. Air conditioning was excellent; WIFI was very fast. Buffet breakfast was not included with my room but only cost $16 (tax included) and was pretty good. I had it as my main meal every day. I rented a car at the airport and had a hard time with WAZE finding the hotel. Location is ok. Easy to get on Amador Causeway. Staff was very friendly. Hotel and room are dated but fine for me (my wife would have commented). Would probably pick somewhere else next time for a better location but enjoyed the hotel itself. Again very comfortable bed! Room had microwave and fridge.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place to be. Beautiful ocean views available. We watched the big ships heading towards and away from the Panama Canal from our private balcony. So relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very fluffy pillows! The whole staff made us feel welcomed. Onsite food options and the Amador Causeway is close to the hotel.

This grand classic hotel nested in the woodlands which frame the Panama canal on its Pacific end is a great option for people looking for great rooms in a quiet area with lots of Nature around (many many birds in the morning!). Breakfast is good and sleep quality is superb. Great cost-benefit, I will definitely stay again.

This was our first stop in Panama, and it was a wonderful introduction. The hotel had beautiful views, friendly service, and a warm welcome. It's in a humid rainforest and not brand new, but for the price, it exceeded our expectations. We also really appreciated being allowed to check in early. Great job all around!
