Radisson Hotel Red Deer

4.5 stars. The room was a little dated; the bathroom counter/shelves were worn, and the shower hardware was old. The furniture and bed were good and the air conditioning was excellent. We in 4 nights housekeeping only come once, and we asked for them a second time. If they weren't going to clean every day, they should have let us know and told us where to empty our garbage. The location is good, close to services and the highway. The best feature is the gym. Having access to the fitness facilities in the basement was awesome. By far the best hotel gym I have ever seen.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Hotel in Red Deer. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I spoke to Cheryl several times over the phone prior to my booking. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, ensuring we got a suitable suite for my family and I at a great rate. Upon arrival, the service remained very professional, courteous, and thoughtful. We interacted several more times with Cheryl as well as Jackie at the service desk. They were incredibly kind and friendly with our children as well. Both Cheryl and Jackie were attentive to all our needs, providing excellent service with a smile. Whether it was offering helpful local tips, assisting with our room preferences, or simply making sure we had everything we needed, they were always there to help. I highly recommend the Radisson Hotel in Red Deer. Thank you for your exceptional service!

The carpet in the rooms are very stained and dirty. We found a tablet from the previous people- turned it in but was wondering how the cleaning staff could miss that. Ask the front desk for more coffee and she gave me cream and sugar and said the coffee would be brought to my room but no one showed up. Said breakfast was included- it was not.

Rooms and overall hotel are clean and modernly decorated. The TV situation is really good compared to a lot of other hotels. No slide, which is criminal, but the hot tub has a waterfall to make up for it. Should probably get someone to fix the pool liner though.

What a disappointment.. check in was horrendous. Very defensive, confrontational, and rude staff. 2 men checking guests in (April 19 5pm). There was a HUGE issue with the spelling of my name which resulted in the clerk guilt tripping me into how “I must have booked it wrong”. The rooms are GROSS. Hotel is in some serious need for upkeep/maintenance. Stains on the roof, ceiling tiles broken etc. The hotel faces a maintenance/pipe yard to the north so expect your room to be FULLY LIT like an airport all night! $179/night for what!? Tattered towels in the room, dirty “full” coffee machine etc. Alarm clock in my room went off at 5am.. (previous guest maybe) Avoid at all costs. Yuk.

Great Hotel. Very clean and the staff are all extremely friendly! They found us a room on a last minute reservation change and were happy to point us towards some toddler friendly attractions in town. Bed are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and rooms are VERY quiet. Beautiful pool and hot spa area as well! The Planet Fitness downstairs is also very clean, inviting and has all the equipment and stations you'd need!

We recently stayed for 2 weeks due do a wildfire evacuation order in our home town. Included in our group was our 91y/o father & our 62y/o disabled brother. We were treated with respect and dignity by the entire staff. The manager worked hard to accommodate our unique needs with the wheelchair requirements, as we did not have a reservation. We enjoyed great rates, terrific prices on breakfasts & cozy pub style suppers and were extra grateful for the laundry facilities. Walking distance to many fast foods, convenience & liquor store.

We love this hotel! It’s our go to spot whenever we need a rest between Edmonton and Calgary. This is it. Great room, great price, great service, great location… by far the best option in Red Deer. Only thing that would make this better would be offering better in room coffee! Other than that, 10/10. Great pool and hot tub too!

Do not stay here. The front counter staff are completely clueless to the realities of life hotel is great but the management is severely lacking intelligence

I stayed here booked under a group for a weekend in February. We checked in and they asked for a credit card as that's standard procedure I guess, but that there would be no charges on my card as they assured me that any room charges would go on the card used for our group booking. I just received my credit card statement and lo and behold, there is a charge on my credit card for $71. I called the hotel and they charged all of my room service to MY card, apparently because there was nothing in my booking indicating that room service was to be covered by our group card. The other members of our group booking also had difficulty checking in, and weren't able to get into their hotel rooms until 4pm as "rooms weren't available yet". This was remedied eventually, but had affected some in our group as we were part of a volunteer event and needed to be at our event location before 4. Do not order room service! Any room service I had ordered was terrible and was extremely overpriced. The beds were comfortable, but after my experience here with the room service and mixup with incorrect charges I would not stay here again.
