Honestly, you all do us guests a huge safe favor by offering free shuttles to and from a LOT of events at the Grand Casino (xcel energy) arena. It's a life and cash saver for many of us. I love that I can stay at a safe, clean, lovely place that is caring about their guests. I cannot praise yall enough for that! The rooms are clean! The breakfast tastes good! Highly recommend staying here when going to xcel energy center!

Room was very nice except for the extremely loud fan in bathroom. The breakfast was very good. The major problem was when as soon as I got into the internet in my room I found out that room rate was over$10 cheaper than when I booked. I asked the front desk and was told I needed to talk with the manager (Tim) .After calling him several times I finally left a voice mail after the front desk connecting me. First of all the voice mail did not say his name. More importantly I left a message with my phone number and still have not received a call. Does not make me feel like a valued customer.

This place is the best; the front desk folks are literally the nicest humans I have ever met. They are extremely accommodating and seem to legitimacy enjoy their jobs! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was standard, no issues. There isn't much around in the area but thats not the hotels fault! I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, was not impressed with the value for the cost of the stay. Parking system was not very convenient, and the lot’s signage was not helpful. Check in was fine, staff was helpful and friendly. Requested west facing window room, and was accommodated. Entering the room, the toilet paper holder did not have a spool, so paper was placed on toilet tank. Every outlet in the room was loose, so chargers and cords didn’t stay plugged in (pretty dangerous for kids). Toilet got clogged, when we tried to call to front desk, we realized there was no cord plugged into phone. Couldn’t find a cord to plug into it either. Staff did clear toilet while we were gone, so that is a plus. Pool did not have any towels available either time we used it. Bartender at the restaurant was very nice, she served us as she was trying to close up, and that was very appreciated. Breakfast was ok, no complaints, but nothing extraordinary. Check out was simple. This to me was a $100-$120 per night hotel, not $200+.

While most everything about this hotel met expectations and made for a perfectly fine stay, there was one particular part of the trip that stood out and made our stay extra wonderful: the front desk staff. The two ladies at the front desk who checked us in at approximately 3pm on Aug. 1 were the most friendly and welcoming employees I've ever encountered during any hotel stay. They made us feel so welcome and happy to be staying at the Raddison. Please recognize these employees as they went above and beyond to provide the best customer service my partner and I have ever received at any hotel. The wonderful welcome they provided us set a positive tone which resonated throughout our stay!

Customer service was absolutely terrible even before the stay. I had made many attempts and left multiple voicemails for the managers (both with the front desk and on the managers voicemail directly) regarding adding an extra day to our stay. I knew more than likely there would not be availability, but I never once even got a call back to discuss. And that’s with an actual manager. At the time of check in, there were numerous guests that were part of the wedding block that were told they only had a room for one night. It took several inquiries before they were told they had 2 separate reservations for each night of their stay. This has ought to be something that should be linked in your system as not to cause unnecessary stress and aggravation for not only the customers but the staff as well. One of our guests could not get into her room. It was as if the door was locked from the inside. When someone went to assist, they muscled their way into the room that resulted in a broken door. The guest then had to go to the front desk to say that the room was not currently acceptable to stay in as the door was broken and would not lock. This same guest also made it known that the battery in the smoke detector was dead. The response from the front desk was “well the manager is gone so there is nothing I can do”. There wasn’t even an attempt at remedying the situation, the guests were simply brushed off. Due to us having a wedding at a nearby venue, there was a contract in place that indicated parking to be free at the hotel. Unfortunately, parking was included in our room fees and this had to be disputed. I had gone to the desk to request sheets and blankets for the pull out couch in our room. I was only offered a single sheet. The deadbolt on our door did not latch. One of the toilets in our room did not flush. I have stayed at many hotels and have never experienced such poor service and it was truly disappointing. While the look of the hotel and rooms was great, everything else about the stay was not enjoyable.

John (JP) who works at the front desk is the most AMAZING person that I have met in all my years in customer service! I had called on the phone the week before with questions and said that he would be working when I was going to be there. John (JP) remembered who I was and greeted me by name as I walked up and went above and beyond to help me. Radisson is lucky to have such a great employee like John (JP) who is friendly, caring, engaging and just a wonderful employee who you can tell loves his jobs and loves customers. John (JP) is the very best!!

My experience here, was the most amazing. The people that work there, are the kindest, friendliest, & most helpful people ever. They accommodated us completely. Even with our service dog, there was no issue. The rooms were excellent, clean, smelled good, & very nicely arranged. To be honest, if I didn't have an 18 hour drive back to NC , I would have stayed longer. The swimming pool & hot tub were awesome. There are no bugs there, they have great breakfast food, and even a laundry room on each floor for the guests. Even the cleaning ladies are sweet and very helpful. Yes! This is the place to go! I loved it here & will be coming back. I can't think of 1 thing bad to say about this place. Even the manager asked rounds daily checking on the facility and customers staying there if they see you. They don't mind asking if everything is ok or if there is anything they can do to make your stay better. I love it!! And our room had a beautiful view

Yelp
I stayed here at this Radisson hotel property near downtown and the State Capitol building in St Paul, MN. It was a pretty good stay for one night in late May 2024. Downtown St Paul is a nice, quaint, and cool place. With that said, I decided to check out the scene by booking this Radisson hotel property. I found this hotel listing on hotels.com and booked 2 months prior to departure. Upon arrival, I came here from the airport via Uber. Initially, I found it interesting to see a guard gate arm that was at the entrance to the hotel. My Uber driver had to call in to a speaker box to drop me off. The hotel lobby was a little spacious but had the necessary things. I enjoyed the ambiance of the lobby area. The check in process was good and quick, as with the check out process as well. The dude at the counter gave me a receipt. The lounge area was cozy since I used it to wait for an Uber after checking out of the Radission the next morning. They have the usual amenities a good hotel has, but I didn't really make use of it, including the hotel's wifi. The hotel boasts 6 floors of guest rooms. I booked a room with a king bed, which was very comfortable. Everything in the room worked to a tee and it was quite lovely to be here. Although the prices can be a little higher, you can expect to spend about $150 ish per night depending on the room type you want. The overall experience here at the Radisson hotel - downtown St Paul, Minnesota was quite good and surprisingly gentle. The hotel is in a good place, within walking distance from the State Capitol building and the Minnesota History museum. I took part in the complementary breakfast the next morning, which boasts a pretty good spread of everything you'd want in a go getter type of breakfast. Breakfast ranges from 6:30am to 9:30am, so don't try to sleep in if you can help it. The Radisson hotel brand takes care of the budget friendly and business traveler alike, by providing comfortable and clean rooms for its guests. My room was good and on the 4th floor. Although it took me a few tries to find the ice maker, I learned that they don't have it on every floor like how some hotels do. Still, it was a good stay. Everything in the room worked and the room was very clean. For the most part though, the bed comfort was very above average and got in a good 7-8 hours of sleep during my stay here. Just what I needed to ward off any jet lag. If you want to stay in downtown St. Paul, MN, consider coming to this Radisson hotel for a good stay. Might be a hidden gem in the Twin Cities. This Radisson hotel property is located in downtown St. Paul, MN. It's physically anchored at 161 St Anthony Avenue, St Paul. You can book thru 3rd party sites and also directly. Both methods require a credit card upon booking. Not sure if they accept cash, but book early for a good rate! I arrived and departed here via Uber. They have a special parking lot for those guests who drive, but they also have a security gate thingy in the front of the entrance, which I found really interesting and weird without a security guard tending to the in and outs of cars and other assorted vehicles. Not sure if there is reliable public transportation in the downtown St. Paul area or even connected to the MSP area airport, but best bet is to look online to plan your journey. While the comfort and stay was good and certainly above average, the prices can be a little bit higher than what I was expecting. Still, it was nice even if this hotel doesn't have the extra amenities that many other upscale properties do have. The Radisson hotel brand is great for what it does. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 5.0 stars for the location. 3.5 stars for the prices. 4.5 stars for the room comfort. 4.0 stars for the ambiance. Support local! B

Yelp
The front desk service was great and Courtney was very helpful. The first room we checked into had stained sheets, but Courtney got us switched into a room that was clean and quiet. The room was very warm however. We turned the thermostat down to 60 (the lowest it would go) but it was still very warm in our room making it hard to sleep. The hallway areas were much cooler. We found the location be convenient for us as it is easy to get to from the highway. The continental breakfast was terrible. We got down there shortly after breakfast started in the morning and things were already soggy and cold. The hashbrown patties were soggy and had the texture of cardboard, the scrambled eggs were grey, and the sausage links also had a very weird texture. We also seemingly weren't allowed to get our own drinks? There was one lady in there getting everyone's' drinks, even though the juice and coffee were in by the food, and there was no sign indicating otherwise.

Yelp
I would highly suggest looking at alternative hotels. This hotel REEKED of weed in the elevators, staircase, hallways, everywhere. We were traveling with children and this is unacceptable for a hotel. Not a family friendly hotel for this reason. Maybe this is normal for MN hotels, but we were traveling from out of state and have never experienced this at any hotel or Air BNB before. The actual room was run down- the tub had paint peeling and the cleanliness was not up to par of other hotels. We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff was very nice and the location is convenient to downtown St. Paul if you don't want to actually stay downtown. Highly recommend staying somewhere else unless you want to smell weed during your entire stay with your family.

Yelp
The reservation desk is not well trained. In order to make a clear and understandable reservation, I repeatedly ask about free parking and the answer I got is that parking was included on my bill. Witch was not true I got billed a separate bill for parking. I called several times and try to talk to a manager and no one answered my phone call, or even return a call after leaving a message. It is a very disappointing experience. I hope no one gets trick like this in the future. In addition the bathroom had scratches on the door and some of the paint was coming off the walls in the bathroom. My sister in-law stayed in a bigger and better room and it didn't have shower curtains. The keeping up with the maintenance of this place is not happening. Be careful when making a reservation at this hotel. Thanks.

Yelp
We booked a room for two nights to go to the Minnesota State Fair and a concert. The room was nice, but small, with fairly comfortable beds. The pool was closed for cleaning /sanitizing so we had to wait until after lunchtime to be able to go in. The chlorine smell was so strong it hurt my eyes so couldn't use the pool or whirlpool. We ordered sandwiches from the restaurant which were good. However, two weeks after arriving home, I woke up with bites on my arms and every morning, there are more bites. Bedbugs. I expected better from a Radisson hotel, thought I wouldn't have to worry about that. It was a very expensive mini vacation for me because now I'm going to have to pay for a pest control company to come in and get rid of the bedbugs. NOT HAPPY!
