Radisson RED Madrid

Check out the full review on the YouTube channel. Stayed for two nights in a Superior Room with Terrace. Hotel lobby, bar and restaurant areas on the ground floor are done really nicely and look fantastic. Check in staff were friendly and professional spoken great English and were always available to help when needed. Room itself was a little on the small side but the terrace and bathroom were both huge. Bed was super comfortable, TV, fridge and coffee machine all worked well. Everything in the bathroom worked well. Noise wise we did not hear any of the other rooms or any traffic noise from the street outside. Breakfast was buffet style and decent with all the usual foods. The bar area was very comfortable for drinks as well in the evening. The martini bar on the room was nice although not open on our visit you can still go in and experience the terrace they have there. Hotel is in a great location in Madrid as well. Would definitely stay in the hotel every time we are in Madrid.

Radisson RED Madrid sits by Atocha, close to the station. Near the Retiro park and the museums for a perfect quick vacation. It’s the perfect place curation. You are central, and let me advise, so in rush our from the traffic you don’t get increased frustration. Best bit: they’re dog-friendly, and our dog welcomed felt. They brought bowls and fuss-free kindness; no problem left undealt. The team stay proactive, sorting small details with real ease. Good place for work and leisure; the whole stay runs like a breeze. Downstairs, the lounge is lively; we kept returning for the bar. It’s handy for a nightcap before heading out, not far. We wished the rooftop terrace was open, but it stayed closed. Next time we’ll check dates; hopefully will be better disclosed.

Stayed here in early December as a Radisson VIP from the UK. The reception staff (blonde woman I can't remember the name of especially) were really friendly and this Radisson actually had a separate priority line for members (not all Radissons utilise this and as a VIP, that can sometimes be annoying). The hotel is also *next door* to Kapital which I thought was great What I really like is each room has a refillable glass water bottle with a cold water dispenser on each floor, something I haven't noticed at any other Radisson in the UK. Breakfast is nice and the hotel also has a rooftop terrace which is interesting. The video is of their suite and the premium bathtub in the middle of the room is a nice added touch. I was also given a Radisson RED branded bath bomb which I thought was a nice touch If I return to Madrid, I'll definitely be staying here again

Service from all staff at the hotel was very good; especially Javi at reception and Andres (I think) at the bar. The hotel itself is lovely; rooms were great; clean, very comfortable beds and the communal areas of the hotel are both welcoming and attractive. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with my stay - caused as a result of the hotel overbooking on the weekend I arrived. The result was I did not get the room I paid for on the first evening and despite offers of compensation to match the difference - nothing materialised which was disappointing. I do appreciate the effort taken by the team to do their best to ‘make things right’ and overall, we really enjoyed our stay; notwithstanding the inconvenience of having to unnecessarily switch rooms on the second day. I would agree with others- the room I booked had a balcony but it was in a state of disrepair and could do with refurbishment. The hotel is very close to Atocha for taking the airport bus and metro stations. It was quick and easy to walk to most other central areas in Madrid. We paid circa £210 a night over a weekend. I would recommend the hotel though and would happily stay here again.

My proper thanks goes out to Yuvi, Javi and Johnny who were very obliging during my stay. I was here as a travel advisor with a group of 35 persons and they handled the check-in very well and quickly. Therefore, I really appreciate the Teamwork with them. The room was very nice and the location is perfect. The Centre, the Prado and Bus Stations are all reachable within 10-20 min walking distance. I can really recommend this hotel and I would love to work with them once again.

We spent there one night, and almost didn’t sleep as there’s a club and McDonalds next to the hotel. So much noise from the street and the bed was super hard. Average room, beautiful lobby, but not worth it when you can’t sleep.

Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was great and we’d be happy to stay here again next time we are in Madrid. The location is perfect for visiting the nearby museums and galleries. Thanks for a lovely stay!
