One of the big shopping malls in Singapore, a mini Orchard Road, you can find almost anything and branded designer stuff. Many interesting nice restaurants ,cafes ,a supermarket , Marks & Spencer and many amazing shops at the basement .

Raffles City is a vibrant and bustling mall, perfect for shopping and dining. Conveniently located above two MRT lines, it’s well integrated with several 5-star hotels, making it highly accessible and popular with both tourists and locals. The mall features a mix of high-end branded stores as well as more affordable options, catering to both the affluent and the average shopper. Plenty of food options to cater for all taste. There’s also a supermarket on site, great for quick grocery runs. Underground linkways connect it to neighboring malls, enhancing the overall convenience and experience. A dynamic and lively mall that truly has something for everyone.

Raffles City Mall is super convenient with everything in one place — great food options, good shopping brands, and direct access to City Hall MRT. The mall is always clean, organized, and easy to navigate. A perfect spot for dining, quick shopping, or just relaxing for a bit.

Visited Raffles City on National Day and was blown away by the creative decorations! Along the ground-level walkway, the Merlion and shoreline displays were stunning — from a quirky Milo Merlion to a beautifully crafted origami version. Such a fun and imaginative way to celebrate Singapore’s birthday!

I went here during the F1 season, and it was literally a lifesaver! It’s very close to Gates 3A and 3B, which are the entrances for Zone 4 ticket holders. Whenever I felt thirsty, hot, hungry, or needed to use the restroom, this place had everything I needed. There are plenty of food and beverage options available here. And there was also a Mercedes pop-up store, which made it even better!

Where the original Singapore Sling was created. Great time, great service, great drinks. Lots of free peanuts the kids loved to eat and toss the shells on the floor. Unable to Hancock our own drinks due to number of people. Non-alcohol drink versions for kids!

Sure! Here’s a warm, engaging, and loving continuation to your earlier post — blending both parts of the evening into one story: ⸻ Dinner tonight at the newly renovated Food Republic @ Raffles City — loving the clean, modern vibe and the wide array of stalls! So many tempting options, but we went straight for the ever-reliable 高记酿豆腐 (Kou Kee Yong Tau Foo). A heritage brand with roots dating back to the 1960s, Kou Kee serves up traditional Hakka-style Yong Tau Foo — each piece carefully hand-stuffed with fresh fish paste. We paired our selection with chee cheong fun and their signature sauce — rich, savory, and just the right amount of sweet. Comfort food at its best. 😋 Spotted other familiar names too — Boon Tong Kee, Ah Mei Chicken Rice, Li Xin Fishball Noodles, and even new dessert counters waiting to be explored. We’ll be back! Since the night was still young and the city lights were calling, we strolled over to Coffee Club to unwind with a little “chilled time” together. ❤️ ☕ Iced Americano – strong, bold, and refreshing. 🍰 Muddy Mud Pie – rich, chocolatey layers that hit all the right spots. 🍹 Green Tea Lychee – fragrant, light, and just the right touch of sweet to end the night. Nothing fancy, just a simple moment shared. Sometimes, that’s all you need. 💑✨ #RafflesCityEats #KouKeeYongTauFoo #FoodRepublicSG #ComfortFood #SimpleJoys #CoffeeClubMoments #MuddyMudPie #EveningVibes #CoupleTime #ChillNights #SingaporeFoodie #SupportLocalEats

Google
Raffles city and Takashimaya is a place I don't miss during any visit to Singapore. Large spacious shopping mall , great food hall, huge lobby sales and a variety of stores from designer to ordinary.

Yelp
Raffles City mall is a great four-level shopping center attached to the Fairmont Hotel with loads of restaurants! It's a very elegant space and offers indoor access to the City Hall subway station (North-South red line and East-West green line) as well as the Esplanade subway station (circle line).

Yelp
This mall is probably the largest one in Singapore. It contains many high end stores and some high end restaurants. But there are also stores and restaurants affordable for the average person. Overall it is a nice mall.

Yelp
Excellent mall in the CBD of Singapore. Great selection of stores and food options. Well connected by public transportation to the rest of the city.

Yelp
I did not look around the mall at all. I went straight to the food court and would come back just to go there. It was very good and had amazing desserts for only $2.20.
google avatar

Harun R.

Yelp
A short review. I was hankering for some dessert and wandered into the food court upstairs. I realized I haven't had an ice kachang dessert in umpteen years so I bought one. For S$2.20 it was heaven. I am such a child... Come on, how can one go wrong with shaved ice covered in various flavored syrups, surrounded by multi flavored jello pieces, creamed sweet corn and stewed red beans... woohoo!!!

Yelp
Nicely done up reboot mall. Back in the 80s it was one of the mall to go to. It's trying to claw back some shoppers and dinners with the reboot. Down in the basement it converted from a car park to a busy food paradise with lots of great restaurants including the all you can eat buffet restaurant. But then even the food court is rather quiet on a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
A few favourite cafes/Restaurants like Cedele, Hyangtogol Korean, Sushi Tei, MOS burger, and other eateries, Guardian pharmacy nearby.....walking distance to Jason Supermarket (Raffles City) and Toastbox (inside City Link Mall) plus many shoes shops like Charles & Keith, ALDO

Yelp
This is a mixed review: Mall/Retail Shops - 3 stars. There is no shortage of malls in Singapore, and while this mall is nice, I don't feel it has a lot of options for the 'regular' shopper; may high end shops with not a lot of variety. Dining - 5 stars. There is a food court on the upper level which is quite good. All the stall you would look for in a Hawker Market but a little more classy, with still mostly Hawker Market prices. But the lower level dining are is where the action is at! There are at least 50+ food options to choose from, as well as many random kiosks, a supermarket, and drugstore. The lower level also connects to the rest of the downtown Singapore underground, which is very convenient for both other shopping and the Esplanade MRT station.

Yelp
Raffles City is my kind of mall. The location is perfect, as it's in CBD and easily accessible by 2 MRT lines. It's pretty big, with a mix of upscale and affordable shops. My favorites are TopShop, MAC and Kate Spade. They have a lot of American brands like Nautica and Tommy Hilfiger; too bad the merchandise comes at a premium so I never end up buying anything. There are also some nice brand names that I'm not familiar with, like Sacoor Brothers (they had a nice sale and my husband scored a pair of blue suede boat shoes. Baller.) The basement level is a bit hard to navigate. There are many twist and turns, and the maps kind of throw you off, so expect to walk around aimlessly for a bit until you get your bearings. My favorites in the basement are Browhaus and Tiong Bahru Bakery. Overall, great alternative if you're downtown and not in the mood to go to Orchard for an upscale mall experience.

Yelp
Easily one of the most crowded malls in town, due to its location at the intersection of two heavily used MRT lines - the East-West green line and the North-South red line. Raffles City has a mix of both upscale designer brands (Kate Spade, British India, etc) to more common brands (TopShop, River Island, etc), as well as the Robinsons departmental store. Raffles City is linked directly to both Fairmont hotel and Swissotel, the latter being the tallest hotel/ building in Singapore, offering a great view of the Singapore skyline at night. The basement level is where all the food places are. From small stalls selling bubble tea (Gong Cha) and pastry (Tiong Bahru Bakery), to restaurants such as Watami, Skinny Pizza, etc, Raffles City probably has every type of cuisine you crave for. If that isnt enough, the basement is also linked to City Link Mall, which leads to Suntec City and Esplanade, which offers an extended selection :) My only qualm with Raffles City is that it can be extremely crowded at times, especially just after work hours, that it gives me a headache to navigate through it. If you're looking for a quiet place, this place is definitely not for you!

Yelp
I loved this mall! It is crazy big and had lots of great stores. It is a bit like a maze, but I love how you can easily get here by the MRT. Actually, most of the major malls here you can get by the MRT now that I think about it. Man, I love Singapore. This is a wonderful mall to just wander around in and it was not busy at all on the Tuesday that I visited. The food court is small but I feel like this mall is more restaurant-oriented. What I loved the most was the garden area outside on the top level. I had just gotten down eating ice kachang when I thought it would be wonderful to defrost outside until I saw a sign that said I could go outside without going back to the bottom floor. It was gorgeous and I could only imagine what it would look like at night when it's busy. Lovely mall!

Yelp
Sure wish i could find a food court somewhere here :) The stores here were numerous (upper levels of the 4 floors), but I'm not a big shopper so I just window shopped mostly. Here's a guide... you will likely need it: http://www.rafflescity.com.sg/store-guide/ It's a huge mall to walk around and a great place to people watch if you have time to kill. Since it is hub for the MRT, there is a lot of foot traffic going through here every day. Lots of good restaurants and dining options... good luck deciding!

Yelp
This mall has everything and anything. Just because it's in a central location doesn't mean it's all expensive. It's got reasonable stuff too. There are local and international brands here - so it's pretty much got stuff for everyone. What I Love: Their food court's pretty cool. I've tried their Chicken Rice, their salad stall, their drinks stall and a couple of others. You can't go wrong. They have all the cool brands - Topman, etc. Their basement is stocked with all sorts of goodies too! It's connected to City Link, and all - so it's really easy to get around. What I Don't Love: It can get a bit crowded on certain days of the week - but apart from that, it's pretty okay.

Yelp
One of my favorite malls in Singapore and I was actually trying to figure out what the main appeal is. I do think the main appeal to me is the good mix between both upscale and budget brands as well as a nice and well considered food and beverage se-up. The fact that it is also easy to access with two MRT lines and fairly close to the CBD is also an added bonus. My favorite stores here are Top Shop and COS. Unfortunately the COS store only carry the women's range if clothes but helpfully they will add some of the mens stuff. The layout of the mall also makes it easy to navigate and while it can get busy it does still offer a lot of space to walk around at. The downstairs part can be a bet more busy and noisy as there are more people congregating at restaurants and cafes there and while I seldom sit down and eat something I do sometimes pick something up to go and of course also visit the Raffles City Market Place supermarket.

Yelp
Let's all take a moment. Does anyone remember how Raffles City used to be? Before Din Tai Fung, before Gong Cha, before Yakun. Before Skinny Pizza and Soup Spoon Union... before they nearly doubled their basement space by eating up carpark space. No? I barely do. But it's true. Once upon a time, Raffles City was... pretty blah. A whole lot of nothing. Now? Dining options galore, and that's not even factoring in the fairly solid spread of shopping on offer. So while it might have skated by for years being on top of one of only two MRT interchanges, just like the MRT lines, Raffles City has definitely changed with the times... and I'm glad to say, for the better.

Yelp
People, people everywhere! Raffles City Shopping Centre depicts Singapore to a tee. Just a mad rush of people everywhere. Good shopping though with your usual food court - a touch fancy, cafes, bistros and restaurants. I have a soft spot for Raffles City as I spent a huge portion of my youth working at The Body Shop there. 25 years later and the centre is still a hit with locals and tourists alike. I love the shopping there and the choice of eateries is amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
A bit old but still nice high class shopping mall in the downtown area. A lof of nice shops, restaurants and great foodcourt area but keep in mind that is mostly shops for older crowds!
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
A shopper's dream with interesting items and goods. A modern shopping experience if your tired of street haggling. However, just be prepared for a bite to the wallet..it's Singapore after all. For me, a bit of foot reflexology is all the shopping that I need, so keep your cutting edge electronics and high fashion, just show me how this little piggy went to market and this other one went wee wee wee all the way home.

Yelp
We spent sometime walking around Raffles City and had dinner at the food court...although I wouldn't characterize it as dinner as we ate constantly on our trip. Raffles City felt like a place stuck in the time. There was a late 80's early 90's valley vibe to the mall with a lot of white marble accents, heavy glass influences with a mixture of natural light coming through. It felt like a mall from a different time. The stores were abundant and frankly similar to every other mall in every other country in the world. The named brands were all there with the addition of some unique Singaporean exclusives...and like every mall in every city around the world, teenagers are a plenty. This place had an especially heavy teenage presence which can be both good and bad. Good in that teenagers know a good thing when they see it, but bad because it does get loud. There are numerous dining establishments in the complex, one on the top floor and one on the bottom floor. We went to the top floor. The selection was diverse, but seating was a challenge and like every hawker centre we frequented in Singapore, napkins were hard to come by. Overall, since we were staying right across the street, this was a good and convenient place to pick up some good cheap eats during our stay.

Yelp
Raffles City is a nice mall with good F&B options around including Brotzeit, Marche, Prego, Cafe Swiss and a restaurant collective foodcourt. It is also connected to the MRT, the Swissotel as well as the Fairmont Hotel. This mall is not the newest and therefore not spectacular in terms of architecture. It also has rarely any high fashion or lifestyle brands except for watches. I would consider it midmarket. The central location and named dining opportunities saves this one from a 3* review.
google avatar

Joey M.

Yelp
After being used to the new malls on Orchard Road, stepping into Raffles City might reveal its age, with the not-so-bright-anymore lighting and the aged-ness of it all, but it is still spectacular. The shops above the first floor get a bit disappointing, but the food court is pretty good, and it also houses Watami, one of my favourite Japanese chain restaurants! Good stuff! The basement is also loads of fun - with the myriad of food choices... though dinner/lunch time is a bad time to go there for seats... so be prepared!

Yelp
1995 - we were there for 2.5 months! In the mall between/inside of the old Western Stamford and another lovely hotel - there was a walk through line restaurant with the best won ton mee soup!! I would love to know if it's still there. Marie at the Stamford hotel pool - what a wonderful lady. I miss her very much!! 4 stars for all of Singapore only because it was so hot. Ahhh, but loved being there.

Yelp
A feature of downtown Singapore, this mall has gone through many, many incarnations. In its present incarnation it has a little something for everybody. I'm not much into chain fashion or high end fashion so I can't comment on those. There are also too many chain F&B places. But the basement food area and the newly expanded section of the basement is where I spend most of my time. There is some interesting food to pick and munch on when you want a quick bite, and when you want something more substantial there are also decent choices. If there were more banking services available (like DBS and OCBC banking lobbies) I would never go anywhere else.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
The people managing Raffles City Shopping Centre might hate me for this but my gay friend told me this is one of the hottest cruising malls in Singapore. He even told me to keep my eyes peeled when I get up escalators and spot random strange men standing around by themselves. Blame my friend, not me. That said, the mall is the nearest to City Hall MRT station, it's the place where you can get your things if you can't make the time to Suntec or Marina Square. I always pop by the make-up counters in Robinsons to grab gifts for girlfriends. Right next to Robinsons there's the flamboyant M.A.C where I've seen one of the most helpful salesgirls. There are a number of exit points at Level 1 so it might be a tad confusing. If you're lost, look up for well-positioned directional arrows, or approach the concierge. Raffles City's always filled with business people so you can expect seamless concierge service at this place. By the way, the building was designed by big-name designer I.M. Pei in the eighties; I'm guessing it'll retain its façade for a long time.
google avatar

Raymond L.

Yelp
Before ION Orchard stole all the attention, this used to be one of the places to ogle at branded goods. It's still one of the most accessible malls right smack in the middle of the city, with City Hall MRT underneath but it's lost some of its shine over time. One part of the mall I always check out when I'm there is the basement, where there are tonnes of food stalls and restaurants including some very decent ones. The Starbucks here, right outside one MRT exit, is also a very popular meeting place, but seats are always hard to find. I mainly hop over whenever I go to any conferences or conventions are the two neighbouring hotels, or when I am further down at esplanade and am looking for cheaper food.
google avatar

Reuben M.

Yelp
I never really thought of Raffles City as a mall but more of an interchange. Half the time people are passing through City Hall Mrt, walking through City Link or just cutting through Raffles City to Swissotel. When you enter Raffles City, you get a rush of fragrances from L'Occitane and The Body Shop so that is pretty welcoming. There are no stand out shops for me in particular but the basement has gone through quite a revamp so there are tons of new food choices available! Definitely a good mall to explore if you're in the area or if you're just bored.
google avatar

Flora Y.

Yelp
Raffles City Shopping Centre is always crowded. Alright, not always, but most of the time! There are a lot of stalls there and because of the foodcourt, the supermarket and a whole lot of food outlets located at the basement, I see where the people are coming from. It's only an escalator up from Cityhall MRT station and places like Starbucks and McDonalds are always packed with people. 24 hours, that's why. Good for snacking and meal time, but be prepared to queue.

Suella P.

Yelp
This Starbucks is great.. People are friendly and patient with Americans ,who are still learning how things work.
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
Great food options here as well as some high and low end shops. I had to pop in to MAC for the newest collection and some eyebrow maintenance. Top shop to pick up some cute things- I love the men's dress shirts! There's a large LEGO store in the middle with a ton of kits. It attaches to the fairmont which made shopping during our stay very easy and dangerous!
