Raglan Holiday Park

Cool campsite but have given it a 2 star as we booked a bunk cabin for 2 adults & 3 kids. When we arrived it was completely dead, only seen 2 others who were staying here so we asked for a later check out & they refused?? No one had booked our cabin for the next day so not too sure why we have to checkout at 10am when it doesn't need to be ready for new people (if it was booked) untill 2pm & it's only 5 bunks that have to be stripped of sheets & pillows cases & remade. This is a 15 minute job max in which they asked us to strip our own beds upon departure. Also room was freezing as only had a tiny old heater for a large room.

Booked an unpowered site for the night. Clean and spacious bathrooms, kitchen and dining room. Plus a game room. Lots of space for everyone, so I found it very comfortable. Easy to go by foot to the city center.

Awesome stay. Location, staff, cabin, the whole shibang was top service at a very affordable price. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. My toddler had a blast on the camp site playground too (particularly the giant trampoline), and made lots of new mates. Thanks a lot!

Loved Raglan, and the little cabin we had at the Holiday park, it was perfect for our overnight stay, only downside was using the communal toilet and showers on site, but we were prepared for that and they were lovely and clean. Our cabin was cosy, too. The holiday park was close to everything, so I didn't have to travel far to see or do things. The restaurants and cafes were vibrant, and the service was fantastic. Food and coffee were yummy 😋 . Highly recommend a weekend getaway to Raglan, beach just stunning, and so was bridal veil falls, and the town itself full of great little stores to browse and find some treasures. Definitely will go back and take the kids next time. ✨️🤗

Really well run site. Spacious campervan parking, on grass but it held up well to all the rain. Big clean bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. 5 mins hot showers which were good. Even have number plate recognition for getting in and out. Short walk to town across the bridge although this can be dark and wet depending on the time. Recommended

We stayed at Raglan Holiday Park with a group of 29 Adults, 1 child (we paid for everyone and were the organisers), using motorhome parking and motel units, this is camp ground has great facilities, the ground staff were very friendly and the family room was great (apart from the fact that it is situated a long way from where we were camped). But they are very money hungry and the office staff are not very personal and are very unhelpful with any changes, they also hasseled our guests for extra payments instead of coming to us, we don't think they could organise themselves out of a paper bag.

Clean and comfortable studio unit. Nice linen & towels etc, and the tea and coffees provided were good. Friendly efficient staff. Walking distance to town

We stayed here for a couple nights tent camping, it was great! Toilets and shower block near the end could of been cleaned more regularly otherwise a fantastic place, close to the beach and good fence line to keep the public out, and good rules for 1030pm absolute quietness, we will definitely return some day! Great fishing 5-10min drive to the beach. Just keep your belongings near you at all times on campsite as someone thought it was ok to take my tooth paste, but that would go for any campsite.. my fault as i had left them in the shower overnight.
