Rahat Palace Hotel

Really good hotel in the heart of Almaty city. The rooms were large and spacious and the bathrooms spotless. Even though it is a 30 yr old hotel it is maintained really well. Rooms on the eastern side have stunning views of the mountains. The breakfast buffet was quite good with options for everyone. PS: There is no health faucet in the bathroom and no separate shower area, only a bathtub, so carry mugs. Iron box and board available in each room.

I had an amazing stay at Rahat Palace Hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and well taken care of. The hotel itself is elegant and well-maintained, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a relaxing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were all very professional, polite, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Assylkhan, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guest comfort, and I truly appreciated his outstanding service. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Almaty. Great location, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality.

Rahat Palace in Almaty is a truly amazing hotel with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The coffee is excellent, and the food offers a great variety with wonderful taste. I had the chance to attend a conference hosted on the ground floor, and the arrangements were seamless. The dining area is spacious and well-designed, adding to the overall experience. A perfect place for both business and leisure stays.

I had a fantastic experience at Rahat Palace Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the managers stood out as especially understanding and considerate, making sure every request was handled smoothly and on time. Rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, thanks to the outstanding housekeeping team. The modern furniture and thoughtful amenities added a touch of comfort and elegance throughout my stay. What also made a big difference was the hotel's location, conveniently situated for most city tours and activities. Overall, it was a great stay. I would absolutely recommend Rahat Palace to anyone visiting Almaty.

Poor maintenance and bad facilities — disappointing stay I stayed at Hotel Rahat Palace, Almaty, and the experience was very disappointing. The bathroom design is terrible — water keeps stagnating like a pool as there’s no proper drainage or separation between wet and dry areas. It becomes slippery and uncomfortable to use. Inside the room, power sockets and lighting are very poorly placed and not functional. It’s hard to charge devices or get enough light even in the evening. The maintenance quality is far below standard for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. Overall, the property seriously needs renovation and better upkeep. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel until they fix these basic issues.

We had a nice and comfortable stay at Rahat Palace. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment. Room service was efficient and did their job well throughout our stay. However, the food menu could use some improvement. It felt a bit limited, and having more variety in the dishes would have made the dining experience more enjoyable. One minor inconvenience was that no staff came forward to assist us with our baggage during check-in, which we found a bit surprising for a hotel of this category. Despite these small setbacks, the overall experience was pleasant. We appreciated the calm ambiance and smooth service otherwise. With a few enhancements, this could easily become one of the top choices in the area.

I was fotunate to book the renovated room, it was surely good, the AC is the only issue as it takes time to cool the room, also faced a small issue with the plugs next to the bed, they tend to disconnect after some time and you have to remove the card and reinstert it again, the breakfast area had a good buffet and nice seating area ( indoor and outdoor ) room service sometimes take time to attend to requests but generally ok, staff was welcoming and very nice. looking forward to see the hotel in few years after their full renovation.

The Rahat Palace hotel is a good property in Almaty city with its location in a prime area with beautiful and scenic beauty around. Food options for Indians especially vegetarians is pathetic extremely bad experience. Moreover language is a barrier. Although it’s a five star hotel their food and service staff can’t understand or speak English so communicating with them is miserable. Front office reception staff are very efficient and helpful language is not an issue with them also they have a professional approach. I would rate the housekeeping department of this hotel 101/100, par excellence they kept the room for us very clean, hygienic and super comfortable with all the needful toiletries, everything perfect. Our 10 months infant was provided baby cot on request thank you very much for it. Overall view from the hotel room and ambience within the property is great. If we visit Almaty would certainly visit the hotel again. Hope to see improvement in their food and beverage in future. Lastly I would thanks the entire team of Hotel Rahat Palace for all the effort they took to make our stay memorable.
