Our group spent the night here. The room is basic but comfortable. The food is okay. The camp is hidden behind a mountain. They have a place on top of the sand dune where tou can watch the sunrise or do sandboarding.

One of the most impressive and inclusive desert camps I’ve ever visited! I had an unforgettable experience at Rahayeb Camp. The place is not only incredibly well-organized and clean, but what truly sets it apart is their exceptional accessibility. As someone who uses a wheelchair, I was amazed to see how thoughtfully they’ve designed the camp — every detail is wheelchair-friendly. What blew my mind is that they are the only camp in the world (yes, the world!) with a custom-built ramp that allows wheelchair users to board a pickup truck for a desert tour. It’s something I never imagined possible, and they made it happen with so much care and professionalism. The team was beyond kind, respectful, and genuinely passionate about creating a comfortable experience for everyone. I felt 100% welcome, safe, and relaxed the entire time. This is more than just a camp — it’s a symbol of true inclusion. If you or someone you know is looking for a magical desert escape that doesn’t compromise on accessibility, Al Hay B Camp is the place to go. Thank you to the amazing team for making this dream a reality! I’ll definitely be back

Can't say it was an awful stay, but it wasn't the best either. Problems: - 2 of the 3 nights we stayed, there was a large party (around 150 people). These are parties for the locals not guests. Loud music went from 6pm to 11pm (and crowd only quiets down after 12am). Dinner was nice but chaotic due to the crowd. - Tours were disappointing and we were charged more than their website stated. For the jeep tours, they essentially just drive you around with very minimal explanation of the place. They also ended up cutting a couple of tours short (we paid for the full time). - Staff were nice, but were unhelpful at times. In the evening, they put off any requests until after dinner. Even when we ran out of toilet paper, we had to wait. They were also not too helpful when it comes to giving information about the tour options , it was really hard to understand what you would get out of each tour when booking. (Probably partly due to language barrier) Pros: - We stayed at the mini suite, which was very spacious, and has an aircon. - They were flexible, whether that is booking tours or providing lunch. - Decent price for room including breakfast and dinner

Newly updated brighter dining areas, sitting areas, front office. The camp location is protected within mountains. Comfortable beds in large tents. We noticed a slight plumbing problem and the staff instantly switched us to another room. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We took the stargazing tour with Atallah who obviously loves Wadi Rum. It was an outstanding, peaceful, quiet experience. While we saw a few shooting stars and identified constellations, Atallah built a small fire from brush, and served us hot herbal tea. Grandson loved it and drank 3 servings. Highly recommended. The next day, we took a camel ride with our young children. The guide was a mature 14 year old who explained desert formation and gave us the names and ages of our 4 camels. Wonderful experience. Overall, the accommodations and the staff were fantastic! A top experience in our repeat visit to Jordan! Suggestion - park close to the main road and the staff will come take you the short distance to the camp. City cars aren’t made for desert sand.

Perfect location in the Wadi with hills sheltering this friendly camp. You feel safe and cared for by the owner, Dara and her competent, kind staff. |Lovely excursions around - and the star-gazing with a jovial, erudite astronomer is a highly enjoyable event. |Do not miss out on the dinner under the stars - mouth-watering, underground cooked meat and vegetables - a feast for the eyes and mouth.

The camp is a beautiful and peaceful place with amazing scenery and a great atmosphere. However, the hygiene and cleanliness could be improved to make the stay even better.

We spent three days at this wonderful camp. The staff worked really hard to make the stay enjoyable and regularly served delicious meals. It is really impressive what they were able to offer and the quality of the camp, especially with its remote location. The tents are especially nice and cozy. I was amazed they could provide air-conditioning and hot water using their solar grid. The wadi outside the camp looks like another planet. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience. Camp located between high rocky mountains & sand dunes. Doesn’t look like some of the photos posted by the property. Maybe there is a luxury section I didn’t see!!!||The tent accommodation i had was pretty basic but comfortable. You can stand up in them & they are quite roomy. They is air conditioning. But tents are quite close to each other. I had a big double bed. The bathroom, could do with a makeover, had a walk in shower with plenty of hot water. There is wifi which is strong & stable. ||Dinner around an outdoor fire place included a Bedouin type dinner of lamb & chicken cooked underground for 4 hours & a good selection of salads, was delicious. Breakfast was disappointing with no fruit or yogurt but there were cooked eggs. ||I loved the experience for one night.
