A group of us had lunch together at this restaurant yesterday and had a very good experience. There were 17 of us so a challenge for the kitchen!
It’s located in one of the main streets in La Fortuna not far from the main square and church.
The menu is quite varied and provided a challenge of what to choose! In the end I had the hamburger and my wife the chicken and rice special. The hamburger was great with a lot of toppings. My wife enjoyed here dish which was served with beans and salad too.
Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Food came relatively quickly considering the size of the order.

Lovely little restaurant in town! Delicious food and drinks. This spot made the best piña con albahaca of all the ones I had on my trip! Lots of great breakfast options and they make delicious pancakes!

Costa Rica has great coffee almost everywhere. But this is a notable mention for one of the best coffee chorreado ( drip coffee) . I also ordered an empanada which was so yummy. We tried the one with beef and it was lip smacking good. Kids had the hot chocolate which was too cute.

Really good Breakfast, and fast service. I got the Brunch, which had pancakes, sausages and eggs. The pancakes are very good, tender and moist. I also got a café tipico which is brewed in a traditional costa rican way. Very bold and well brewed! Have not had a single bad cup of coffee in Costa Rica so far!

Great food, great vibes. Their dining space is semi outdoor and they have a huge range of food on the menu. Can get a bit pricey but it’s great quality - loved their steak!

Nice and easy-going place. The staff was kind and helpful, as usual in Costa Rica :) We took three dishes: gallo pinto, an omelette with beef, and pancakes with banana. The omelette was amazing! The pancakes were good as well, but we had slightly higher expectations, probably due to a different flour or yeast that we’re not used to. Overall, very good for a simple break!

As someone who is a self-proclaimed foodie and pretty particular about the food I have to pay for and ingest, I will say that this has probably been one of the best meals that I’ve had in Costa Rica, and not just this particular region of the country. Kenneth was super awesome with his recommendations and his service. I will definitely come back
